yeah I've heard about that. Not too familiar with marines but I'm in the Army and we have what's called AKO (Army Knowledge Online). It's really secure and back in the day you used to be able to forward your emails to one you check more often like an aol or yahoo. But for security reasons, they don't let you do that anymore. If you're at the store, shouldn't just flashing the ID card work? But yeah, I've had to enter my military email address to get discounts for phones before. There is not much to it. They just want to make sure you are in the military and still active and in good standing. Usually they phone company will just enter his email address and they see what discounts apply (some companies have more discounts than others) and that's it. It's not like he has to access his military email address and send a confirmation back. Through AKO, we have white pages. If you want, you could give me Best Answer or send me an email and I could look up what his would be. It's usually pretty easy. like mine is firstname.lastname@us.army.mil. It's pretty much a requirement for all military members to have a military email account. Whether they check it is up to them. Get ready to hold your stomach before you watch James Veitch because this is the most humorous thing you will see today if not ever and if you aren't doubled over in laughter after listening and watching this something's wrong with you and come back and talk to me about it because then you have a problem if you can't laugh with this man.
