I Am Trying To Fill Out A Starbucks Application

How do I fill out a Starbucks job application?

Go online to Starbucks – The Best Coffee and Espresso Drinks and click on the careers tab on the bottom. You will be directed to create an account. From there you can fill out the application, and even select where you want to work. The store that is hiring will call you or email so stay tuned. If after a month you hear nothing you can send out your application again.

Need help filling out starbucks application?

if u know how to work on the POS( POINT OF SALE---register)
if u ever worked in customer service.
if u have NO exp. talk to the manager, THEY WILL GIVE U A ONE HOUR LONG INTERVIEW ANYWAY. AND STARBUCKS IS A PART TIME/STUDENT MOSTLY JOB ANYHOW...MOST DONT HAVE PREVIOUS EXP. AND THATS FINE. THEY WILL TEACH U HOW TO DO SPINS, BREAK DOWN THE BAR, CLEAN, RECOGNIZE THE COFFEE, CALL THE DRINKS THE RIGHT WAY...DONT WORRY---

HERE ARE SOME TIPS:

DONT GET UPSET WITH URSELF WHILE IN TRAINING. ITS A HARD JOB AND U WILL NEED ABOUT THREE(3 ) MONTHS TILL U HAVE EVERYTHING DOWN.

DONT EXPECT A BIG SALARY---PAY STARTS AT MINIMUM WAGE (FOR UR STATE) AND AVERAGE CHECK WILL BE AROUND 400 BUCKS EVERY TWO WEEKS.
TIPS ARE EVERY WEEK (I USE TO MAKE 40-90 BUCKS IN TIPS A WEEK)
TRY TO PICK UP EXTRA SHIFTS.( BY PUTTING UR PHONE NUMBER ON THE BOARD---SINCE STARBUCKS HIRES AS A PART TIME ONLY, ITS HARD TO MAKE MONEY THAT WAY)
NEVER GO OVER 40 HOURS-THEY HATE PAYING BARISTAS OVERTIME

SMILE, SMILE, SMILE

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM STARBUCKS HAS WITH THEIR BARISTA IS MAKING THEM UNDERSTAND THE " NO ARGUING WITH THE CUSTOMER POLICY"
SO EVEN IF THE CUSTOMER ORDERED SOMETHING, THEN SCREAMS THAT THAT IS NOT WHAT HE WANTED....TAKE AWAY THE "WRONG" DRINK, AND MAKE THE ONE HE WANTS---NO QUESTIONS ASKED---( starbucks gets lots of mean customers coming in all the time. all u gotta do is smile..) i had a customer that because hes FRESH made coffee was not done within seconds--HE THREW A BIG CUP FULL OF 450 DEGREES COFFEE RIGHT ON MY CLEAN CLOTHES( AND MY BARE ARMS) COPS WERE CALLED. LONG STORY.

also starbucks, does NOT like people that " meet expectation" in fact their motto is" WE EXEED EXPECTATION"( just a quick ref. to the person bellow me)
working for starbucks is not the same as working for 7/11...starbucks is strict, and they want the best. if u work hard, u play hard. they have lots of rewards. also u could be a shift supervisor in a matter of months, if u proove urslef worthy :)

I need help filling out a starbucks application.....please.?

The best thing is just to be honest without being a jerk--be diplomatic. Besides how would we know whether you've visited a Starbucks and how it was? How do we know why you want to work at Starbucks, etc?

One thing I can tell you is that for #3 you don't want to say, "Because I need some money."

At the end of Starbucks application they asked if i was latino/spanish?

I'm half latino..but why would they single out this nationality, i kind of took offence to it and I'm just wondering why they would ask that? Please no rude comments.

Applying at Starbucks?

My daughter is a Shift Lead at Starbucks so I should be able to help.
1. For desired position - put "Barista", unless your are applying to the corporate location, all employees start out as Baristas.
2. For Location/Department - either put the address of the store you wish to work at or put the word "any" if you are willing to work at any location.
3. "What do you like about coffee?" - Coffee conjures up an image of people relaxing together, and just spending time with a friend.
4. "Why would you like to work for a Starbucks company?"
I've noticed that Starbucks employees always seem to be having a good time while working, they seem friendly and happy to be working - I would like the chance to be part of a team like that. (Starbucks is very big on the "team" thing!)
5. Re: Customer Service - If you've never had another job before, just say so but try to think of a time when you helped a stranger because you just wanted to be nice.

I hope this helps, good luck sweetie!

Does Starbucks look at online applications?

About two weeks ago, snagajob.com posted a job opening at a local Starbucks so I applied. The add is still there but how long does it take for them to get back with you? I have filled about 40 job applications in the past two weeks and no one has called me. All of them have been online. I have no prior work experience other than watering the neighbors plants and yard for the summer and babysitting. Should I call the store and ask? I am 18, so shouldn't it be easier for me to get a job compared to 16 year olds? I also want to get a job at Olive Garden or another restaurant. The only reason I want a job is so I can start saving up for college. How did you get your first job? What do you suggest I do? Thanks. :D

Why can't I sign int my starbucks app?

In my situation, i had the same problem as you. But i figured it out that it is about my apple id which is signed in at the time that i tried to sign in to my starbucks account over starbucks app. So i have two apple id, one is Turkish other is American. I just sign out from Turkish one and sign in with US apple id then it works! Hope it will work for you too, please keep in touch about that..

I applied for a job at Starbucks, but I was declined because of my accent and how slowly I talk. Is this OK?

I am not saying that you have any disabilities, but here is what I have found about jobs...I believe that some companies do hire people with disabilities, when they can, and sometimes this works great.  Many autistic people and many people with ADHD make awesome employees when given just the right things to do every day, for example.  But I don't think you would be happy working in a place where you have to take so many orders and talk to people all day...  Ironically, now that I am 55 and both my parents have passed away, I finally found out, from people who have been around me lately who have autism in their family, that I definitely have mild autism.  I already knew about the ADHD, but now that I know what my problems are, I feel soooo much better about myself.   The Big Bang Theory helped a lot too.  I'm a lot like Sheldon Cooper.  Not quite that smart, but very smart, and so much like him.  Except that I never had a job in my life where I made much more than minimum wage because I never knew, for example, that companies like Google like to hire autistic people because of our laser focus for one thing.  Anyway.  I'm not saying you have autism or ADHD.  But what you need to do is try really hard to find a job you enjoy doing, where your own difficulties will not be a problem, but an actual asset to the company.

How far away from your location can you order from the Starbucks app?

I personally have never tried ordering online for a Starbucks location more than a few miles away. That said, the app let me scroll to Washington state and showed me all the locations there (I’m in Houston as I write this). As I was looking for a 24 hour location in Seattle, the app crashed after a while.Okay, I tried it again. I found a 24 hour store in Sayerville, NJ, which the app let me select, but then it zoomed out and said “No Nearby Stores Available” and the green checkmark was “greyed out”. I zoomed back in, and, surprise, the app crashed again. So at least on the mobile app, there is some kind of a limit if for no other reason it crashes the app if you try to order too far away.
