I Am Very Stressed About School I Just Need Encouraging Words

EVERYBODY! I need words of encouragement to finish my essay!?

I'm so stressed out with school and everything?

This has happened to me before, I didn't have a set schedule and I was staying up really late to do homework, waking up super early for my classes, and then getting home exhausted from not sleeping and working all day. What I did was basically set a schedule for homework, depending on the work load I would do the easiest assignment first, take a ten minute brake(nap) then do the hardest take a twenty minute break(nap), then do the next assignement and so on. School can get pretty stressful especially with too much homework and not enough time. Be sure to take breaks for yourself(does not include meals) and really focus on yourself as well. Many people go through the same things that your going through, it's a part of life! I believe in you!:)

Best wishes!

Can you give me some words of encouragement/advice? I'll be leaving for military basic training in two weeks. Im feeling nervous about doing well.

Dear Aisha,Congratulations on your choice to serve your country. You are doing a noble act, and you deserve a round of applause. Whatever challenges lay ahead, I wish you so much strength and resolve that you can do more than you think possible. You are amazing and have my admiration.I suggest you read this story: Noam Kaiser's answer to What was your first day in the military like? It will definitely show you that many of Israel’s best and brightest start out just as scared and “shockist”, but end up a heroic commander leading other men.Everyone is just as scared as you. Everyone is just as unsure and convinced they are the odd one out. You’ll start out ahead, knowing you are all in the same boat. You can do this!Best,Elke

Im at rock bottom, can someone give me words of encouragement?

I think you need to believe in yourself, from what I've read, you are caring, intelligent and a hard worker. It's great that you have a weekend and job and are so close to graduating. Do you have any idea how many people don't go to college, and how many people don't pay for college on their own? You should be proud of your accomplishments, you will graduate, it doesn't have to be this semester or even next. Start looking for a job close to home, that would allow you to save money enough to pay for those last classes. Start getting out there and volunteering more, I'm not sure what organizations are in your community but maybe Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Boys and Girls Club, or a humane society. Whatever you enjoy get out there and do it, it might be very difficult at first but once you take the first step you it will be worth it, trust me. I am a college student who works two jobs and I know that even though you are young, your problems are very very real. I hope my answer helped you.

Here are some of my favorite quotes that help me sometimes I hope they help you too :)

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
-Marilyn Monroe

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved - Helen Keller

People are often unreasonable, irrational and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. In the end it is between you and God, it was never between you and them anyway. -Mother Theresa (Doesn't matter if your religious or not still great things to live by.)

I'm feeling really lost as a freshman in high school and today was only the second day! I just need some advice/words of encouragement?

I'm having a hard time transitioning into the high school life. The teachers don't remember names and aren't as personal with you. I only have 1 friend in 1 of my classes. All my other friends from middle school went to another high school. I'm missing all of the people from my old school, who also went to my elementary school. I'm also not that great at making friends. I know I should join some clubs/sports, but what other ways can I make friends? I'm take higher level classes and also feel intimidated by the upperclassmen.Should I transfer to a different school if things don't start looking up? Should I go to a private school? Are these all normal thoughts? Did you guys feel this way when you went to high school? Update: Things aren't going so well and its the second week of school. Even though I was better than most of the other people there and I knew the coach before personally, I didn't make my school volleyball team. I'm just so overwhelmed and stressed out even about getting into a good college. My family has even noticed a different personality in me. Usually, I'm much more cheerful, but ever since the start of the school year, I have been feeling kinda down. I feel really bad because my two closest friends seem to be okay/enjoy the school. Please give me advice on how to relieve stress/anxiety? How to make school fun?

Screwed up my first semester in college?

Hi! I've been in the same place you are right now...trust me, it happens to the best of us. Your first semester is supposed to be a time of adjustment to college life, cause as you might have noticed, college is a lot different than high school in so many ways. I screwed up my first semester and a lot of people do too. The important thing here is that now you know what to expect and how college works, so from now on study hard and focus on your goals and you should do great!

It doesn't matter how many times you fall...as long as you always stand up and go on!

I’m failing all my college courses. I’ve been sick, went through a divorce, etc. If anyone has any words of encouragement or advice that would be appreciated. Just feeling really depressed about this situation. Has anyone else failed college?

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Please follow Patricia Pitsel’s advice, posted in the answers here, and see your Student Services for assistance.I did have a school of journalism classmate who flunked out of college—he was the editor in chief of the student newspaper (independently owned by the students, not the college) and apparently was so wrapped up in it, he didn’t realized what he was doing. (After all, an earlier editor in chief was also in law school and made it look easy.)After he was gone for a while, he returned, albeit in a different field of study.Man plans; God/fate/chaos laughs.
