Hot pink prom dress, what makeup to do?
You can do a smokey eye with silvers and greys. It doesn't have to be a harsh black eye. I would stray away from mixing in bright colours especially pinks. Pink eyeshadow tends to bring out the redness in your skin as well as the redness in your eyes. People with cool skin tones can pull it off, but most people cannot. You can also do some natural browns but you want to stand out in pictures and have it last the night. You can try a bronzey eye with dark brown eyeliner. The focus is on your dress, but it's also on your eyes and hair. This is your night, and this is a night you will remember. If you do something super light and natural, you'll look back and wish your eyes stood out more - trust me, I know. I did the makeup for my friends and did mine last minute. Last minute meant put on as much makeup as I can in 5 minutes and hope it looks good. I wish I did mine first and then did makeup for my friends because my dress was beautiful, my hair was dyed, curled, and pinned at a salon... but my makeup... Eh. You don't have to buy black accessories to match a smokey eye. You would have to buy black accessories if your dress had black rhinestones or something on it. My only warning is not to go BLACK for your smokey eye. Should I wear a dress or suit to prom?
Im a stud- girl who dresses like a boy. I want to go to prom wearing a suit and take my girlfriend but my mom wants me to wear a dress and my girl agrees and thinks I should go to prom with a boy instead but I don't want to.
What shoes should I wear with a short pink dress?
hmmm this is actually tough. cuz pink can very easily be overwhelming. but for junior prom i don't think you wanna have anything too crazy. i would stay away from silver and gold. black MIGHT be cute - but it depends on how pink your dress is. sometimes it's best to just match with a different shade of pink. what other colors are on the dress, if any? you can use those as a guide for choosing a shoe color cuz they will be highlighted if you match them to your shoes. i don't see what's wrong with wearing pumps....what's the alternative? sandals? espadrilles? flats? you need to look kind of dressy i'm assuming so i would go with some kind of heel good luck!
Would it be weird to wear long gloves for prom? Picture of dress included.?
While I think long gloves can be a nice addition for a formal event-especially with a masquerade theme, I'm not sure about hot pink. Have you considered white? It would be an easy color to get and you could probably find a pair in an accessory store. You might be out $10-20 (if that can't take them back), but if you really want to wear gloves, that might be a better option. Good luck!

Alrighty, Um I asked a girl to prom and she said yes! Shes going to wear pink (no idea what type) and I was wandering what suits a pink dress. Right now, im pretty settled on a normal pinstriped blackish suit, but I have no idea which colour/textures shirt and tie I should wear =S. Do the shirts have a pocket on the right o.o.? I was considering maybe a slightly lightish pink shirt or something? or a white shirt with a pinkish tie? We are kinda like cute flirting and not yet dating/in a relationship. I reallly want the night to go perfect =]. If this helps, im more of a cute/sweet guy then a complete hot muscly stud haha. What accessories should I wear with a hot pink strapless dress?
Well you could either go all matching and buy a pink necklace, shoes etc! I think it'd be amazing if you picked a stand out colour for your accessories like Gold, Silver or Black and then matched all of that together. Glittery would be really cute too! Like if you got silver bangles, and paired them with a thin necklace and sparkly silver heels it would look great :) It's just whatever your preferences are! Best of luck ! xo

whatever colour your shoes are, or what colour your other accessories are (necklace? purse? hair pieces?)so it would look like a planned outfit (so gold) because if you wore miss and match coloured accessories,(with that hot-pink-thats-stunning-and-gorgeous-and... dress) it would look like an un-planned outfit wear a gold belt, but make sure it's a thin one because it would look better and because in this case it really is "less is more" and also because the gold against that smexii pink will be too harsh if too much
Converse with prom dress?
I am going to my eighth grade prom. I cant post pictures, so ill try to describe the dress as best as i can. It is a strapless, short dress. The top is sequins, the middle has a bow, and the bottom is poofyish. It is a hot pink and purple dress. I was thinking of wearing converse with sequins or sparkly converse instead of heels. What is your opinion??

That's hilarious! Very pretty dress, btw. I think you should go with matching flats, because I am pretty sure you don't know how to walk, much less dance, in heels. Add a few bangles and some dangly (clip on?) earrings, and you're all set. Oh yeah, and wear something around your neck so nobody can see your Adam's apple. As for dancing like a girl... Keep your legs closed! At the very least make sure your feet are less than shoulder width apart. You don't want the guy to look up the dress! Oh, and your knees shoud be about as far apart as your feet. The easiest thing to do is copy the girls around you. Maybe ask the girls for a few tips before you go? As for getting a guy to dance with, if you look cute enough, you won't have to speak, just eyes and move close to each other.
