I've been blinking a lot lately... Is something wrong with my eyes!!!??
Kayy, well it started last night and I was blinking NON STOP... I'm still blinking too! I slept and when I woke up my eyes felt fine. But then 5 or 6 minutes passed and I was back to blinking and squinting again. I've always had PERFECT 20/20 vision... but my eyes are starting to sting if I dont blink. As soon as they start stinging -- I blink. I've tried to NOT blink a few times and my eyes start to water. I JUST CANT STOP THIS BLINKING AND SQUINTING MADNESS! I can see perfectly, but I'm just blinking WAYY too much! Is there something wrong with my eyes? How can I stop blinking and squinting?

hi..well past year and till now my life is seriously fuckedup i have depression i was on anti depression pills for long..i cut when im mad..my eyes blink alot..i over think..i cry easily.i get scared or worried abt silliest things.ihave family problems my big sis is scary she gets mad screams,shouts and hit me sometimes.i shiver when im scared or mad or stressed..my hands shake and my hands palms sweat..my eyes blink alot most of the time...ppl around me are mean they always let me feel down or try to hurt me by words.my ex bf left me 6 months ago and im still sad and cry abt it he hurt me sooo much..my period didnt come for 4 months,,my eyes blink too much sometimes i feel embarrassed i cant control it..i dont know what to do...whats wrong with me?

i have this thing with my eyes it like when it get dry i start rolling them around and stuff like that and blinking them i been doing this awhile now and i even went to the eye doctor but they didnt do anything .what might be wrong with them just dry eys or excessive habit

Im kind of worried that something is wrong with me? My left eye for some reason is blinking a lot slower than my right, it looks really weird because I can see it going up and down. I currently dont have vision insurance..soo..will this go away on its own? what could be causing it?

Watery eyes with lots of blinking can be allergies, dry eyes from winter heating or dry eye syndrome, or tired eyes from straining. The best thing is to see an eye doctor. There are lots of places that give cheaper eye exams and glasses. There are also lots of state programs to help students with vision. My dog has been blinking a lot and his eyes are red and tearing up.... what could be wrong with him?
He may have had an alergic reaction to something such as cleaning supply like Windex. He may have eaten something he shouldn't have. He may have gotten sick with something. Pink eye? Or, he may have simply gotten dust or dirt in his eye. I'm not sure, but I am very happy that you've made a vet appointment, that shows responsible pet ownership. Hope this helps!

However this is not completely true.An increase in the blink rate can mean cognitive load or excessive thinking, it can also mean nervousness or anxiety.The blink rate can also be copied from another when the person is having good rapport, this is called mirroring and is part of empathy.It is therefore very important to know what a person’s blink rate is when they are under no stress and are not lying and when they are nervous and not lying.Never think that one red flag or behavioral clue signifies lying. This will only lead to trouble.For some people it is a tick which can be genetic or is due to psychological difficulties which I will not go into further because it is not my field of study.
