What is keeping Arsenal from winning the Premier League?
Arsenal are a top football club .. They have been criticized for not being able to compete for the premiership since 2004…. this is because of the following reasons:The club had built its own stadium “The Emirates” as a result of which they had to invest a huge sum of money into this project(about 400 million Euro..) so had to compromise on its transfer budget.They sold their best players to clear their debts.Their best players like Fabregas , Nasri ,Robin Van Persie, Alex Song ….many more left the club when the club needed them most.The players that Arsene Wenger brought in were not so good to replace the talent that had departed.The most prominent fact has been their ambitions …over the past decade they have been satisfied with a top 4 finish.After the invincible era of 2003–2004 they have had players that were not so physical for premier league with the likes of Tomas Rosicky(great play maker but physically never quite met the Premier League Standards),Abou Diaby(would have been a world class Mid Fielder if he was’nt injured so much),Vermelean(a free scoring defender ruined by injuries) and many more…They persistently try and improve their attack and midfield. but defense has been over looked …..they haven’t had a well established CB pairing since the departure of Sol Campbell ,Martin Keown and Kolo Toure.The couple of players who are always missed the most are the defense wall Patrick Viera.. ,king Henry..,Bergkamp the magician… these players have been irreplaceable.Over the past few seasons they seem to choke towards the starting of November after having a good run of form in the opening few games..Arsene Wenger’s football ideology(beautiful passing game) that once created the Europe most feared team hasn't been implemented nicely and his resistance to change some of his tactics against bigger teams hasn't helped the cause .They players at the club except a few lack the motivation and desire to be champions of England….But still Arsene Wenger deserves credit for grooming young talents though a lot of work needs to be done to propose a serious challenge for title…..
