I Can Feel The Nerve On My Right Side Of Head For 21 Days So Far Why

What causes a sharp pain in the right side of my head?

Headaches can cause a dull throbbing or an intense ache and pain in different areas, including the right side of your scalp, base of your skull, and your neck, teeth, or eyes. While headaches can be uncomfortable, they are unlikely to be “brain pain.” The brain and skull don’t have nerve endings, so they won’t cause pain directly. Instead, a wide range of factors can affect headaches, from lack of sleep to caffeine withdrawal.Causes of headaches on the right sideHeadaches are most commonly caused from factors like:stressfatigueskipping mealsmuscle problems in your neckmedication side effects, such as long-term use of over-the-counter (OTC) pain medicineInfections and allergiesSinus infections and allergies can also cause headaches. Headaches resulting from sinus infections are the result of inflammation, which leads to pressure and pain behind your cheekbones and forehead.Excessive use of medication to treat headaches can actually cause headaches. This is the most common secondary headache disorder, and it affects up to 5 percent of the population. Medication overuse headaches tend to be worst upon awakening.Occipital neuralgia: There are two occipital nerves in the spine of your upper neck that run through the muscles to your scalp. Irritation of one of these nerves can cause shooting, electric, or tingling pain. Often the pain will be on only one side of your headTemporal arteritis: This is a condition in which you have inflamed or damaged arteries that supply blood to your head and brain. This pressure can cause other symptoms such as vision impairment, shoulder or hip pain, jaw pain, and weight loss.Trigeminal neuralgia: This is a chronic condition that affects the nerve that carries sensation from your face to your brain. The slightest stimulation on your face may trigger a jolt of pain.Other causesMore serious causes of headaches that can occur on only one side include:traumaaneurysmtumors, which can be both benign or malignant (cancerous)Only a doctor can diagnose the cause of your headaches.

Tightness on right side of face?

I feel sort of pressure and light head ache on the right side of my face. I also feel a sort of tightness on my right cheek. This tightness feeling runs through my neck all the way to my face of the corner of my eye. I don’t know what it is. I already had and MRI to check for tumors and everything came out fine. I even had allergy pills give because the inside of my throat was a bit imflamated. Now the pills haven’t worked and they just make me REALLy tired. I hate going to the doctors because they never tell me what is wrong with me. Should I ask for blood tests? Has anyone had this same feeling and has gotten a treatment for it?

Pain in the right side of neck?

I had to go to the ER for sever abdominal pain and blood in my stool (yuck) they ran all sorts of tests and did a CAT scan and said I would be ok. 2 days later I started having pains in the right side of my jaw, neck and it kinda felt like it hurt my adams apple when I would swallow. The pain has now lasted for about a month and a half and hurts non stop, it hurts my right shoulder, my neck and the back of my head all on the right side. Since it has been hurting I has what I thought was a pimple form on the right side of my jaw and back of my head on the right side but they have not gone away the entire time either & the hurt very bad.
I wanted to say also about o ten years or so ago I have a accident and my jaw was broken very very bad, the doctors at UPMC said it was the worst he had ever seen almost the entire bottom right side of my jaw is titanium and the nerve damage was lasting. I have feelings around my ear and jaw but its VERY sensitive making this all so much more severe it seems. Could the titanium have been effected by the CAT scan and caused something to screw up in my neck?? It just hurts so bad and I have NO IDEA what is causing this pain. When I breath deep it hurts REALLY bad, when I press on the side of my neck I guess where the glands? are it feels like my eyes are going to pop out.
Please anyone out there help me out here...

Dull pain lower to mid right side of my body?

Tight muscles in your back can press onto the nerves going around your body to activate the muscles the nerves go to to cause them to tighten up. To get rid of that pain you have to free up your back muscles to release the pressure on the nerve going to that area and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do while sitting on a chair)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front, and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm as straight as possible. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, then release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

The left side of my brain hurts. Why?

If you ever check brain pain against other problems in your body, you would find you have tight muscles in your back and/or neck. Those tight muscles are what is giving you the headache. You have to have a pinched nerve or muscle in there that when you move it just right it shoots the pain into your head for you. I am all too aware of this pain as it's one that I suffered from for years. Since I have done the muscle relaxing techniques I haven't had the pains return. Here is what i did to get rid of them:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp.
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.
