Cant access websites on google chrome?
It's a possibility that the website you are trying to visit has compatibility issues with Google Chrome. Try using a different web browser like Firefox or IE. I recommend having two web browsers on your computer if you're going to primarily use Google Chrome. More so, I recommend using IE as that second browser because most sites are designed to run on IE, and Firefox is subject to those same issues. Only use IE if a site is not compatible with Google Chrome. If you try the websites on another browser and you still get that error, I would recommend looking into your firewall settings, but that is a last resort.

Chrome can't access Google?
Using Google Chrome on Windows 8 (desktop mode, not app mode), it's letting me use all websites except for Google Search, Google Calendar, and Google Images. Gmail, Youtube, Google Play, and other Google-run websites are working fine, as are other websites. Also, Internet Explorer can get to the Google website, it's just Chrome that can't. I haven't installed any Chrome apps recently or installed any new internet security/firewalls. Anyone know the fix? Thanks in advance.

Okay, before i tried going on xkcd.com. A Mcafe security alert appeared, stating that they blocked it because they think that the website is unsafe. Now i can't access xkcd at all! whether i do, i get the message: Unable to access the network Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network. Can't access certain websites on Google Chrome, but can on other browsers? Help!?
I was having the same issue for quite some but I managed to get it working by tracking down an extension that was causing the problem. Here's what I did: 1. Open a Chrome window with the site you are unable to login to. 2. Open up a second window and with this in the URL: chrome://extensions/ 3. Put them side by side 4. Un-check the 1st Enabled extension 5. Refresh the 1st window and try logging in 6. If it fails, re-enable the extension 7. Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 for all extensions until you can login 8. Once you've found the suspect extension, click on the garbage bin icon to delete it. I hope that helps.
I CANNOT OPEN MY GOOGLE CHROME TO ACCESS THE INTERNET!?
My first guess is MC Antivirus is forbidding and not allowing it to be open maybe there is a virus which you triggers sometimes by a certain action when the program pops up with a window ,But this is kind of tricky it could be caused by lots of bugs, My second guess would be the following, Firstly try to press ALT+ CTRL+DELETE on your keyboard and switch to the other tap which is "Tasks" and execute any program or application related to google chrome browser and try to open it again. It happens sometimes when a particular part of your computer doesn't really recognize that the program has been already closed even though there are some hidden applications opened silently somewhere. Most likely it's an Antivirus issue because as you mentioned it happens directly after some sort of a required clearance. A supplement, Go to www.filehippo.com and download another version of google chrome after you uninstall the current version.
