How do I gain Access to my old "prodigy.net" email account when Prodigy no longer exists?
About 10years ago I signed up for the Internet thru "prodigy.net". I created an email thru their service and everything was fine. After a few years I left Prodigy.net for better internet deals and faster service. Recently I am getting messages from friends saying that they are receiving spam from the old email address so I believe it has been hacked or something. I wanted to contact Prodigy to either have them delete the email address or allow me to re-enter it and change the password and delete the contacts. I seached for Prodigy.net and I could not find it anywhere on the internet. When I searched for it the only internet address I get is "http://att.my.yahoo.com/". Any ideas on how I can fix this?

My yahoo log in works for messenger and the yahoo page, my page etc but when I try to open my email I get the HTTP 500 Internal Server Error message The website cannot display the page Most likely causes: the website is under maintenance or The website has a programming error. Recently I updated the address of my Aadhar card online. Will UIDAI send me the updated Aadhar card via post?
Recently I contacted Dena Bank to update my aadhar card. They told me they have 8 months waiting to update the aadhaar card. So for such an important document UIDAI has not made even a simple arrangement. If you don’t have your mobile number updated in aadhaar you cannot do it online. They didnot take mobile number while making aadhaar card.If they cannot provide a simple arrangement why did they make aadhaar card so important. Isn’t this shameful? Is this Digital India (Programme) ? Government should take strict action UIDAI as they have a pathetic service. 8 months waiting to update aadhaar card is just insane.
What are good examples of an email to send when an IT platform is scheduled to be unavailable because of an update?

Give at least 48 hours notice, wherever possible. For updates, this should be predictable. Follow up with 12 hour and 1 hour notifications as well. Not everybody has this as a "To Be Remembered" mental priority.2. Always schedule maintenance/updates/upgrades for the least inconvenient time for your users. Inconveniencing your technical guys, compared to inconveniencing the entire business should persuade you.3. Be specific about the time and date - no ambiguity - and allow yourself at least 20% excess time. Also be specific about the format that you display the time and date - do not rely on local conventions (i.e. the conventions of the person writing the notification).4. For wide-scale outages, say "Dear IT Systems User". For (a) specific system/s; name that/those system/s. Eg: "Dear Sales, Dispatch and Receiving Systems users".

If your account has been inactive for that long, chances are they would require you to re-activate and after doing so, your inbox would probably have been wiped clean.
