I Cannot Delete My Aliases In My Email.

How can I delete unwanted Yahoo aliases?

Hello guys!

I have created some alias that to be associated with the main Yahoo ID, and I used to delete and add new alias for several years ago, but since the last year I tried to delete them as I did before to create and delete for many years ago, but this time cannot,
Whenever I try to delete some unwanted alias, it’s showing me the confirm message “delete now” after I click on it to confirm showing me another dialogue box which says:

("Oops! Looks like our servers are in break now! Please try again later!")

I tried to delete lot of times really, some times I long in from PC, other times from laptop to make sure there is no any problem from PC, I tried in different times in day, night, morning and afternoon, from different computers etc, and when I try I do not sign in Yahoo messenger to avoid any association or confusion with it, but always the same problem and I get the same message..! Does Yahoo server always really busy?
So how can I delete these unwanted aliases that I don’t need to use anymore, it’s very annoying and bothering me always to receive offline messages through it,
I wish to get some help this time, since I talked to Yahoo help few times more than a year ago and no any solution was provided, what should I do?

It’s a high challenging matter really! I will appreciate if any solution or some comments by Yahoo technical staff to solve it, it’s very bothering me indeed,

Thanks,

I cannot delete my email messages!?

Over the weekend, I deleted around 25,000 emails from my yahoo account. I had become a hoarder. I deleted from my PC, iphone and ipad over the course of 2 days. Now, that yahoo account doesn't work at all on my apple devices. (I have another yahoo account for work that is unaffected). Also, on my PC, once I delete read messages, they return as if they have never been read. What can I do to solve both problems. Anyone know? Yahoo doesn't answer my phonecalls. duh

I cannot erase my email?

If you want to delete your Yahoo! account go to the following page:
Remove account

and follow the instructions.

Please note that the instructions for deleting your entire account, not just your email address. It is no longer only disable email address, without accomplishing the process only if you are absolutely sure you want to close your entire Yahoo! account and all of the personalized features of your account.

Important: When a Yahoo! ID is removed, everything is tied to the specific account being removed as address, aliases *, profilter, clubs, calendar, messenger, etc. You will not be able to log on to any of Yahoo! 's services and products with the Yahoo! ID or any of the aliases that belong to the deleted account.

* To find out which aliases associated with your Yahoo! ID, go to Yahoo! Profiles. If you are prompted to log in again, make sure that when you log in using the Yahoo! ID you want to delete. Remember to remove your aliases manually if you want to register them as new accounts

How do I delete my extra email address?

Extra Mail Address

Sometimes one email address isn't enough. Need an extra one for work, school, or family? Yahoo! Mail lets you create one extra email address for free. Use it exactly like your primary address, and get messages sent to both addresses delivered to one Inbox. Remember though, you can only get one extra mail address for your account.

I did that on my email. How do I get rid of it? I don't want to delete my account, just that address. HELP!

How can I set up an email alias in Yahoo mail?

I cannot find how to set up an email alias. If I go to my Options Link - More Options - Accounts, I have typed my name into the 'From' Name field, but it still shows my full email, not my name in brackets as an alias. Nor is there a setting titled Manage your Yahoo Aliases, as some other answers have suggested. Is there no longer an option to set up an alias?

No there isn't. You can ask and hopefully somebody will be nice and tell you if it is or not :) Most good email verification services can tell you things like if an email address is role-based, or a disposable address, and the likelihood that an email address is valid and belongs to a real person. No service will be foolproof and not every email address will be accurate, but your chances of valid emails will go up dramatically with a good email validation service. A good email validation service is fast, affordable, easy to use, and accurate. Along those lines, I'd like to introduce you to a solution I built called mailfloss. It is a true set-it and forget-it solution that only requires a one-time setup and no developers. All that's required for true bulk email verification on autopilot is a supported email service provider (ESP), and a one-time, 60 second setup. All you need to do is connect your ESP to mailfloss, set your preferences, and sit back, relax, and let mailfloss handle the rest. Once connected, any emails coming into the ESP are automatically verified by mailfloss. Here's a list of supported ESPs, with more on the way.

No, unfortunately the person on the receiving end of an email from your deleted account will be able to see the email IF it was sent successfully. Reason behind that is simply because the email would already be on the recipient's server and once it makes it that far it's basically out of your hands and in whomever's inbox. The only thing deleting your email account will do in your case would be that the receiptient will NOT be able to reply to your email because your email address wouldn't exist anymore for a reply to be received.**if you're trying to figure out some way to get out of an embarrassing or accidentally sent email, you can always say your "account was hacked" (#1 excuse for everyone's email and social media account fails) **
