Can't download attachments with new Yahoo mail?
Can anyone tell me why I can't download photo attachements with nthe new Yahoo mail? I would LOVE to switch back to Yahoo Classic Mail but apparently they won't do that now. I've noticed various "bugs" with the new Yahoo Mail but this attachments problem is the worst and if I can't resolve it I won't be able to continue using Yahoo Mail. In addition, I can't find any Yahoo service number to call as I was hoping for technical help with this problem, but I find no contact info for help.
Why can't I download attachments from yahoo mail?
After a month of the same problem starting mid November 2013, I finally fixed this which was a problem on several but not all computers. I went into yahoo mail settings and clicked on the Security and clicked on the option to always use email in "https" and suddenly after a month of misery, the pop up window popped up with the attachments when trying to open them. Interestingly after going back to Security, the option disappears from Security after choosing it. Incidentally, hard to find but this is also an official yahoo answer from yahoo but I fixed it prior to finding that out. They acknowledged the problem.

I used to be able to print out and download attachments in yahoo mail. Now I don't see the "keep or discard" feature and can not open any downloads or attachments.

I have a doc and excel file attachment. I click on the attachment, it opens the screen that says download attachment. I click on that, it takes me to the screen that says open, save, cancel. I click on either open or save and it just keeps throwing files from the earth to the folder and never counts down or ends. But it works fine if I try to download the zip file.I change my PC, but still can't work. I try it in another place, it works fine. Why can't I download these files from my home only?
Yahoo email, how to change the attachment download directory?
When we get an attachment to an email, all we can do is download it, we can't just open it. When it is downloaded, the attachment is saved to an obscure subdirectory 5 directories down. How can we just open the attachment or at least select the directory to download it to?
Why doesn't Google Inbox have download all attachments feature?
Google is a great company. As we all know all the products from Google are for providing a good user experience with a great value. Same is the case with GMAIL. Gmail is most used e-mail sending service (if I am not wrong). Now the way Gmail works is pretty awesome if you ever observed with focus. If Gmail Inbox enables download all attachment feature then it might become a negative factor to their user experience strategies according to me, because there are many users who use notebooks which have lesser hard drive capacity and receive mails having attachment of large sizes( around 5-8 GB as I have personally seen). So It will become a matter of frustration for them if they download those attachments directly to the notebook's hard drive. Now behind these negative side, let me talk about some of the positive, GMAIL has option for its users to download attachment directly to GOOGLE DRIVE or DROPBOX. I think that is pretty awesome feature we have. Thanks :-)
