I cannot reply or compose new mail?
I have same problem. Can open & read new email but cannot reply or compose a new one. Or even open the drafts I have saved. PLUS---Yahoo closed my access to Yahoo Classic this past Friday, more than a month before said would not longer have access. I have sent several complaints to yahoo about this but no replies.

My symptoms were a little different, but at least three people who had your symptoms tried these simples steps and it worked for them: My email messages had been blank - and it was hard to get help - Yahoo Support cannot email you an answer to your problem if your emails are blank! So, I finally talked to a great guy named Val at Yahoo, he instructed me to do the following: 1. Close all browser windows. 2. Open a new browser window. 3. Click on Tools at the top of your screen. 4. Click on the bottom choice - Internet Options. 5. On the Internet Options drop-down menu, go to the middle section titled Temporary Internet Files. 6. Delete all cookies (button in the middle) 7.. Delete all temporary-files (button in the middle) - this step took about 3 minutes - patience! He had me delete old cookies and temporary files, thinking that a corrupt cookie was keeping me from reading my emails. IT WORKED, YEAH !! I hope this helps someone out there.
I cannot view my emial nor send a reply or compose an email on this computer. What give?
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. I cannot compose or reply or open my mail - it keeps running?
there a few things that this can be caused by, one you may have a virus or such, do you have an uptodate antivirus running? There has been some problems with winXP and Vista with the routines microsoft has placed in the system to allow them to look into your computer without your knowlage, in this case you need to stop the down load if you can then do a cold reboot and try again, if it happens again, try the above again along with rebooting your router and modem. Finally, there may be an upgrade that your ISP might have just installed if they are using an apache server (most do) this upgrade has a problem with email and needs to be uninstalled or upgraded with the fix at your ISP's end, they likely allready know this so give them a day or so to correct it. However most of the time it is caused by WinXP or Vista, microsoft really messed up when they made these systems.

Cannot compose, reply, nor forward e-mails?
this is because yahoo forced everyone on the new system regardless of software problems many people are having this problem. there seems to be a problem with the contacts entry method and now we can't go back to Yahoo! Mail classic. if yahoo doesn't let me revert to classic within 7 days I'm closing my account my mail has become unusable
I cannot send nor reply to email. why?
hundreds of clients have notified Yahoo approximately this problem. It began 2 weeks in the past regardless of the undeniable fact that it does not influence each and every person on the comparable time. the only issues that artwork are switching browsers or switching to classic Mail (and that they do no longer artwork for each individual).

I cant answer yet favor to verify absolutely the garbage this newbie version is. there is not any compose 'button'. there is isn't any 'reply button. there is not any deliver button. I have finished each and each of the accepted issues. Yahoo is consistent hardship yet it truly is the worst yet! I actually can in simple terms examine mail. i won't be able to respond to ANY MAIL in this YAHOO PROGRAMME! How good is that? for sure there is not any solutions for this and in spite of if someone comes up with something it will be jumping although hoops and bending over backwards to finish a touch form of trickery to both get around the fault or some complicated technique to get the lacking buttons to look. Yahoo became far far extra perfect 2 years in the past yet they kept on fixing issues that 'aint broke. Too many nurds without brains on accurate of issues who does not understand even as its best ever!
Help! I cannot reply or send email from this computer!?
I can ready my email but I cannot reply or send email. It will open up the box to compose but will not go through and send, nor am I able to close the composing box. Also, I can see my contacts that are online but I cannot click on them to chat. This seems to only be happening on the computer Im using at work, not at home. It used to work fine then one day I stopped being able to do this. When I switch back to Yahoo Classic Mail I can reply and send, but I dont like it as much as the updated one. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I have already cleared cookies, files and history. Help!!
