I Cannot Upload Photos From The Memory Card Any Longer Using The Same Usb Slot I

Olympus Camera SP-800UZ won't upload photos, what to I do?

Disconnect camera. Uninstall the camera (driver and all) from the Device Manager in Control Panel. Reboot. Connect camera. Reinstall driver.

If that does not work, repeat the above but this time, remove all installed USB devices in Device Manager (not for the faint of heart).

A simple method would be to just connect the camera to another computer, copy the files to a USB drive then use that USB drive to transfer to the Vostro.

Using a memory card next time would make it easier. You can use a USB card reader to connect the memory card straight to the computer's USB port. No more camera involved.

Cannot record movies on this card. Initialize using only the camcorder.?

I have a Canon Legria FS200 and a while ago the set button broke so I couldn't access anything on my camera (movies and photos) so when I uploaded movies and photos to my Mac using the SD card slot instead of plugging my camera in with a USB because I needed to use the arrows and select button to do that. I upload my photos to iPhoto and my movies to iMovie.

Today I had decided to delete the photos and videos off the camera and I did successfully with the photos but then I wasn't sure how to delete the videos. So I followed this tutorial: http://www.ehow.com/how_5760537_erase-sd...

which I obviously shouldn't have done because now I cannot film on my camera any longer. It pops up with that message and I am screwed. Taking photos works fine but I have no idea what I'm doing.

Help?

How do i upload photos on my emachine laptop?

use the memory card, or usb cable...

If CPU doesn't have an SD Card slot how can I upload photos From a Digital Camera?

There must be a USB cable connecting Camera to PC.
But before connecting Camera to PC via USB, first install the Softwares that came on the CD in the package.
Else the attaching of USB cable will not work.

My camera memory card doesn't fit my laptop help!?

which camera and laptop model do you have? there should be a mini USB to USB output on the camera like the one in this picture, the port at the bottom

http://a.img-dpreview.com/reviews/nikond...

if it has that then you can use a miniUSB to USB cable and connect the camera to the PC.

you can also get pro duo adpaters for PC which fit the SD card slot.

Does Google Photos use device memory?

I back up almost all my photos using GP to free up space on my memory. There are no pictures stored on my device storage but most of the time, when I open my stock gallery, it gives me warning that I don't have enough space anymore and asking me to delete some photos, but there's nothing I can delete.

All of my photos and videos are on my SD Card, and I still have 9GB free.

Most of my apps are stored in my device memory because I can't move them to my sd card, but back then, I have like 1MB free of my device memory unlike now, only 77MB to 200MB and I didn't install any other apps.

I'm thinking maybe I stored so much photos (500+) on GP and it uses so much memory, what can I do to solve it, please help.

How do I upload my videos from my Samsung digital camcorder model: SC-D353 to my computer?

The Samsung SC-D353 is a miniDV tape based camcorder.

ALL miniDV tape based camcorders, from ALL manufacturers, transfer video the same way. Your computer MUST have a firewire port. USB is used ONLY for transferring stills from the memory card (maybe for USB streaming - most camcorders cannot do this). Laptops typically use PCMCIA or ExpressCard slots; desktops use PCI slots. Firewire, i.LINK, IEEE1394 and DV are all the same thing.

USB won't work. Even if, by some miracle, you manage to get USB streaming working, the video quality transferred will not be DV (or HDV, if your camcorder has this capability). USB-firewire converter/adapter/cable things will not work.

Three alternatives:
1) Get another computer that has a firewire port.

2) Get an external drive and borrow a computer with a firewire port. Save the imported video to the external drive, disconnect, then connect to your computer.

3) Get an "analog/digital bridge" that connects using USB. Pinnacle makes the Dazzle. Video quality will be reduced - but not as bad as USB streaming.
