I want/need to lose weight, but I can't stop eating?

I'm fat. I know I am because I'm about 40-50 pounds overweight. I want to lose weight so bad and I try to eat well and exercise, but it's so difficult. The exercising part isn't too hard since I've found things I really like to do. But it's the eating that makes me so frustrated with myself.
For example, tonight at 10:30 I decided to eat a huge thing of nachos for no effing reason. I knew it wouldn't be a good idea, but the evil side of myself kept saying "don't worry, this will be the last time and you'll start eating good tomorrow". The moment I put the last chip in my mouth I absolutely regretted eating the nachos...
What can I do to stop this reoccurring cycle of bad eating habits?? This has been happening for the past 5 years and summer is approaching and I'm tired of seeing my downright ugly cottage cheese legs. Please, do you have any tips and suggestions? I really appreciate anything! And please don't just say "uh, just stop eating fatty". Trust me, I say that to myself everyday but it's obviously and sadly not working...
Thanks!

I'm 15 and can't lose weight.?

Hey man. First off I just congratulate you. You got through the first step of the weight loss process, realizing there is a problem. Next you need to execute. Getting started and the beginning of a diet are the hardest parts, but once you get through that it is clear sailing. Maybe something you may wanna try is getting some assistance. You can either go small, and maybe just get a app on your phone that will help you keep track of you calories and log your entire diet. Or you can go a little bigger, which is what I would recommend for you, is getting some outside help. Maybe hire a nutritionist, and join a gym and hire a personal trainer who works at the gym. The nutritionist will show you exactly what to eat and even when, he/she can keep you motivated to eat healthy and do well eating wise, but on a physical level, when you put good money into a personal trainer you are forced to go and workout, and because of these two things (exercise and good eating habits), you can loose plenty of weight as long as you keep your mind focus and concentrated on your goal. Hope I helped, and Good Luck!

I can't lose weight?

I'm 14 in January, 5'2 tall, and almost 200 pounds. I try so hard to stop eating and I try to exercise but for some reason I'm way to lazy and stressed to do anything. I barely get up off my bed and I already know I have depression because my doctor diagnosed me. I cant stop eating, my family won't help me at all it's like they don't care. My clothes are starting to get smaller and smaller by the month. I've tried so many diets but I lack self control so much! It's stupid. I hate it. I can't stop eating or being lazy. I only sleep and eat. I barely take care of myself (obviously) and I can't live this way anymore! I could end up dead. I get chest pains a lot and it scares me. I'm not ready to die and especially not from being obese that's just pathetic for a 13 year old girl. I just want help I want to be healthy. My back aches a lot because my stomach is putting a lot of weight on it when I'm sleeping and when I stand up and walk. It hurts my back. I can't run more than 40 seconds without breathing really really hard. Please help me I don't have self control and this is too much for me.

Why can't I lose weight?

I am a 27 year old athletic female. I am about 5'6" and weigh around 150 lbs. I want to lose 10+ lbs, but I am getting frustrated. I have been trying to lose some weight since February to no avail. I tried weight watchers for 6 weeks, and gained 5 lbs. I cannot eat dairy, sugar, or gluten for health reasons, and that includes fried foods, I feel like I have a stellar diet. I have had personal trainers; with and without their help I don't budge an inch or a pound. I am pretty muscular, but I feel like I have a layer of fat over it. I am very strong and I can easily do pull-ups and pushups. I just find it strange that I cannot lose weight. I have some favorite pants that are 1-2 sizes smaller and I want to fit back into them, I am not trying to be a supermodel or a fitness model here, jut be more comfortable in my skin and feel a little more confident in pictures. I broke my foot twice in one year and my activity level tanked. Now I am all healed up, and can't get back to my happy size.

I eat 5-6 small meals a day, that are carb-light and have protein and fiber. I do not eat bread or pasta, so the carbs I get are from rice and fruit. Due to allergies, most of my food is fresh and does not contain preservatives or additives (like Lean Cuisines). I can't eat sugar because it makes me have acne. I eat somewhere between 1200-1800 calories a day, and I drink plenty of water.

I run or jumprope for about 30 minutes daily, followed by weight lifting for about 30 minutes as well. I have lifted heavy weights with low reps, and light weights with high reps for 6 weeks each- still NO results. I also take at least one day off a week, (sometimes more if I am not feeling well or have pain).

My hormones are in check and I have a clean bill of health. I am just stumped. I feel like it is simple math, my calories in are less than the calories I am burning, so what is wrong with me?? Since I am not considered 'obease', the doc has no suggestions. Has anyone came across this problem? My personal trainers are/were stumped too and offered me no advice. I feel that doing something for 6 weeks is enough time to see SOMETHING, an inch of weight loss or a pound of weight loss. I just cant find what works for me, and I am very frustrated and need help.

I'm 16 and want to lose weight?

Hey Ali, first of all you cant lose one pound if you are not motivated, you need to get yourself motivated by someone or check yourself in the mirror, if you hate it then you are ready to lose some wight, and if you think that you are not so big then you really need to work on yourself from the inside before working on the outside.

Now i'm not expert in these matters but basically, losing wight is not just about doing some diet program or doing exercises actually it depends on both, my advice to you is start a diet program and work on it for a while till you get used to it and then start to go to gym, if you cant afford it then home exercises will do it, and add one more healthy execrcise to your program which is running, you need to do some running every single

If you took my advice and worked hard on it then I can guarantee you the perfect body in around 3 to 4 months, and simple changes in your body will be noticed each week

Wish ya the best of luck, and remember dont get lazy on it just work hard and tthe results will be amazing
