What do you do if you forget the security questions for your Apple id?
Apple will not let you access your account if you’ve forgotten the answers to your security questions. Even if you call support the support representative will be unable to help you without the correct answers to your security questions. There is no latitude here. The operators do not see your answers and are unable to give you hints or accept “close” answers, because all they can do is fill in the answers in a form. If the answer is wrong, they are just as locked out of your account as you are.This system is broken. There is nothing you can do. You will lose access to your account. If you attempt to reset your security questions you will be prompted to answer your security questions first. Yes, this is obviously crazy, but it’s true. Either you will be prompted for your existing answers before resetting them, or you will see a message that says:Cannot Reset Security QuestionsWe don’t have sufficient information to reset your security questions.Either way you are permanently locked out of your account. End of story. Apple will not help you. It appears as though Apple is not even aware of this problem and are insensitive to it’s catastrophic nature. Why they don’t just send a verification email to your appleid email is beyond me. The system is seriously broken, and more people need to complain to Apple so that they fix it!I’m an Apple developer, and even I have lost accounts this way.

My Yahoo account is sending the verification code to an expired Hotmail account.?
I sent a mass email about something I wrote to a large group of people (more than 70 people). Next time I tried opening my Yahoo account, it prompted me to send a verification code to an account I had linked to it when I had signed up for it. This linked account is a Hotmail account which to my belief has expired because I havent used it in like more than 8 years. I can't access it regardless because I have forgotten its username/password. Is there a way to tell Yahoo to send my verification code somewhere else e.g. Mobile or another email account? I have tried telling Yahoo's help page but they are of no use. Please help, this email has some really important stuff in it.

All the above answers are correct! This is a major scam where this organisation is phishing for your details and as they haven't asked you for any bank details it is obvious that they want the info they are asking for in order to set up false identities! There are several basic rules to remember and for dealing with scams: (1) NEVER reply to them. (2) NEVER open any links that there may be in their email as this can activate viruses that can track your every move on the keyboard. (3) As soon as you get them, delete them - there's probably little point in reporting them as there are so many that the authorities just don't have time to look into them all - if any!! (4) Note the email address from where this one came and then go into your Spam page and type it into the box that blocks all future emails from this address. (5) NEVER give any information of ANY kind in response to emails like this as NO respectable company EVER sends out emails of this type. (6) As has already been said - IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT ALWAYS IS!!!
