As a game developer, have you ever done a game secret that was (almost) never found out?

In Tootsville, we (“Engineering” department) snuck in a lot of secrets — mostly through NPC behaviors/conversations — that it seems most of the players never discovered. Some of these were “obscured” by the fact that the entire staff was able to “puppeteer” our NPC characters — commandeer the robots — so players were often unsure if the NPC’s were actually being controlled by (effectively all-powerful) humans or not.One of the more interesting ones (or, more…) was a series of labyrinths that we developed, but never got permission from management to deploy (the general idea being to save them for a “later” that never came). There were 3 or 4 variants of the same basic engine, where the mazes themselves re-arranged their passageways over time, to thwart the inevitable next-day blogger walk-throughs. We hid access points (through NPC interactions “unlocking” entrances) to two of these, one in the Arlon Mansion (“haunted house”), I think the other was alongside the Mayan-looking temple in our jungle/safari area (although that maze was meant to go in the dinosaur park, there wasn’t any handy NPC to tie it to). As best I can tell, nobody ever discovered them — which might be just as well, because the treasure chests at the end were meant to have different prizes manually swapped out over time, so they would have just kept finding the same, low-value junk that I loaded them with for debugging. We also hid a few things in the user interface … among others, some credits for the development team (I actually forget what strange thing you had to do to find these), access to some technical/debugging data, and the ability to access the Beta game server for playtesting. I don’t recall any published game I worked on that didn’t have some credits and debugger easter eggs, though (unless they were flat-out on a menu somewhere).

Why does everyone keep asking if I'm sick in Skyrim?

It DOES NOT mean you have been beaten by a vampire at all.
It just means you have a disease. I had a simple disease which decreased my chances of lockpicking&stealing, and people were calling me all the same stuff that your char encountered.
Like some other's have said, go to the magic menu and and check the active effect subsection, there you will know what you have for sure.

A quick tip: With any of the two following items, you may create yourself a cure disease potion.
(Charred Skeever Hide, Hawk Feathers, Mudcrab Chitin, Vampire Dust)
The most common two are Mudcrab Chitin and Charred Skeever.
You may encounter Skeever pretty much everywhere. In case you don't know, they are that rat-looking animals. And you may find Mudcrabs near lakes&rivers.

Hope these help. GL@Skyrim!
