My messenger will not bring up conversation history, keep getting error message?
I am having the same problem. All of a sudden months ago my conversation history quit and even tho I sent a message to Yahoo they choose to ignore the problem. yahoo chooses to do what they want to do without listening to its public and customers. If there were any other way to obtain another messenger I would. Is there anyone out there who knows of such a site? Yahoo gets worse and worse. No games and now no conversation history. What will they do next?

Hi, Your iPhone only retains a small amount of your conversations, which will 'fall off' as you continue using it. It doesn't infinitely store the conversations history like the client on the computer and Messenger in Mail does. This is one of the many missing features in the mobile app version of Messenger for iPhone. However, you may be able to see your conversation history in full in your Yahoo Mail account. **UPDATE #3** Yes, I know... Another update. Although, this is a good one! We have verified that the Yahoo! Messenger engineering team has resolved the Conversation History problem. All Conversations should now be viewable in it's entirety. Please clear your browser cache and cookies and try again. Remember that the Conversation History in Yahoo! Why can't i view my conversation history?
You are NOT alone with this very serious problem. On this Q & A site alone, there are hundreds of reports of the same thing happening to others, sadly. Lots of things used to work just fine until this past month, with something Yahoo did for upgrading, or something. My mail was offline a lot during the middle of the night for 'upgrades' but with a 'don't worry, everything is saved and ok' message displaying. Well WRONG. Conversation text from the chat history is not there, the pages are blank. I will not let up on this. The problem is more serious than moving the folder. All of the conversation history text is GONE. Nothing but blank pages, after blank pages. I am so upset. I have now almost a year and a half of saved messages in my Yahoo Conversation history chats with my boyfriend who lives in another country, and they are like this amazing diary of the story of 'us.' I'm so saddened by this whole thing, I can't tell you how much ... Without being able to view the chat text through Yahoo Mail, you cannot search conversations or easily pull up a certain date for chats. Through Yahoo Conversation history on Messenger, one is not inclined to search backwards through over 2000 conversations to find something. That is pointless and time consuming. Yahoo states they have escalated the issue, but no updates in two days now... not even to say 'no updates.' I can't view conversation history in yahoo messenger 11. What to do?
To view your messages open Messenger and click Contacts>> Message Archive. Select a name by highlighting it, then view your messages by clicking on one of the dates shown in the right side window. Then you can click Message (left side) and choose what to do with that message. This is for instant messages from people on your contact list only as they are they only messages archived. Those not on you list and sms messages are NOT archived on Yahoo. Good luck. ~m~
Yahoo Messenger Conversation history?
After opening My Yahoo Mail Messenger i see some email addresses they i sent one or two email to. The People never sent me back a response to my emails. Them People are not in My Yahoo Mail Contacts and there not in My Trash in Mail Or My Send Mail box. They have got to be Spam meal addresses. When i activate one of the email addresses in Mail Messenger it show their off line, I do not want to send then another email because it might make my Spams increase to more then the amount i get now. None of this Activity shows in my Messenger activity folder. If i had them people in my contacts i could open each one and see its conversation history.
