I Cant Sleep Any Help

Need help... can't sleep?

To help sleep:
make sure room is dark, don't go to bed hungry or just after eating (a small snack 1 hour before bed is good). Don't read or watch tv in bed, because this stimulates your thinker and you want to try and relax.
If u can't sleep because of lots of thoughts about your day, stress etc, try writing down what is bothering you, or what you're going to do about it the next day, this can help you relax a bit more.
Warm milk (sounds silly I know) helps sleep, and there's a natural herb you can take, called Valerian root. It helps relax muscles and induce sleep (not really medication, just a natural supplement so is not addictive and doesn't make you feel groggy upon awakening) Or you can try burning some essential oils, like lavender or peppermint.
If you're not getting any exercise, try going for a nice walk or something. And of course limit caffeine and sugary drinks. There's some herbal teas around that can help you sleep too, available at the supermarkets. Hope this helps, can't really help with the insomnia thing because I don't know enough about it. I can't sleep because I don't feel safe, any help?

I still live with my mother and her boyfriend. I can't sleep because I don't feel safe here. I don't have any where else to go. any help would be great.

I got an SunBurn and can't sleep any help?

We are in the same boat at the moment, I look like a tomato right now and just asked a question about sunburns and that's how I found your question. I had trouble sleeping last night and this is what I did. It worked for me so you should try it.

Slather the sunburned areas of your body with as much of any available lotion (liquid sunblock will do) as possible. It's okay if it makes your skin sort of oily, you won't break out since your skin's natural oils are dried up due to the sun exposure.

Then just take a lot of medicine, stuff that causes drowsiness if it's around. I didn't have any PM medicine last night so I just took 3 advil and it worked for me.

Any duas to help you fall asleep i cant sleep?

I am sleepy az hail and ever since Ramadan started I've been getting 3-4 hours of sleep every single day and i get up in the middle too..but usually i sleep upto 10 hours .. like i could sleep and i'm tired too.. i'm yawning every 5 minutes but i'm really worried about something and i just can't sleep because of that. like i am restless, my mind is not at ease.. I'm just too friggin worried.. Are there any special duas i can say to put my mind at rest or to help me fall alseep. I'm fasting right now so dun tell me to drink a glass of milk lol And I'm Sunni btw just to let you know, i dun want no shia duas. And dun ask me what i'm worried about, it's a longggggg complicated story but please help me??

Make sure you don't have a lot of distractions around you, like a t.v. or computer. If you do, turn it off. I find sometimes the more I think about having to fall asleep the harder it is, so you may want to try to get your mind off of it. Maybe pick up a book that you are not interested in (something that isn't going to make you want to keep reading) and try reading for around 15 min to help you relax then try to fall asleep again. If you all else fails hopefully you will be able catch up on some sleep tomorrow after school. Good luck!

I can't get to sleep, any advice?

The best thing for most people is to reset their body's natural clock. Just don't go to bed at all one night- and fight the urge to nap the next day! If you're having trouble staying alert, go to the gym to get endorphins running- they'll wake you up right away! Once you've stayed up till at least 10PM the next night, go to sleep because you deserve it. However, to keep your body from over sleeping and ruining any kind of schedule, set an alarm for a reasonable time (no later than 10AM I'd say) and have someone ready to wake you up if you ignore the alarm. Keep up with the sleep schedule for the next night or two, and you should be back to normal!

EDIT: As for your orange juice question, I would cut off your OJ intake at about 7. Even though it's juice, it's full of natural sugar which can keep you up. If you must (because it sounds like you love your OJ, and who doesn't?!), have a final glass (a small one) just before bed.

EDIT AGAIN: Another thing I just thought of. The last thing you do before bed should NOT be the computer. Something about the screen wakes up your brain and can keep you awake for at least an hour. I suggest turning off the computer at least an hour before bed. Spend that hour reading, just relaxing, or even watching TV (for some reason TV screens are okay). I forgot where I read that, but I applied that rule to my sleep schedule, and it made a big difference! I sleep much better now... I LOVE sleep lol.

Cant sleep because of stuffy nose?

What helps me relieve a stuffy nose when I have a cold is massaging my forehead, between my eyes. Also, if you have any oranges in the house, fresh orange juice (must be freshly squeezed, raw, not pasteurised or from concentrate) is a natural and really effective decongestant.

Ha ha first off, turn off your phone! The light from the screen tells your body it is still daytime. Since you woke up late, your body is not tired yet either. Finally dude, stop thinking! You seem to be overthinking why you can't sleep and it is stressing you out. So dude turn off your phone, lay in bed and close yours eyes, and think of something quiet and happy :) trust me it works for me everytime! Just keep your eyes shut. Hope I helped :)
