It asks you what is the probability you have to randomly pick the right answer to what is the probability you have to randomly pick the right answer etc. ∞And the answers are self-referential, therefore an abnormal set, as they are both part of the set and yet defining the set at the same time.If you assume that one answer is correct, then your chances of being right would be 1 in 4, which gives a 25% chance. If the "correct" answer is 25%, since A and D are both 25%, you now have a 2 in 4 chance of getting the "correct" answer. So now you have a 2 in 4 chance of being correct, which gives you a 50% chance. As soon as that becomes true, the correct answer becomes B. But only 1 option is 50%, so, if that is the "correct" answer, there’s only a 25% chance of choosing it. The telescope - it will be great for your boys and I wouldn't personally ever just buy one on a whim... I don't like smoked foods and a coffee grinder doesn't sound like a good work anniversary gift (plus you already have one but I know you like coffee...). I have no use for binoculars and the camera is only 5MP and won't take the best pictures.
Who would you choose, the one you love or the one who loves you, and why?
I find it interesting, but not surprising, how most of these answers have selected "a person who loves you." This choice supports what is known in sociology as the principle of least interest. The principle states that the person who is least invested in the intimate relationship has the most power. This is because the person who wants the relationship will be more willing to make compromises and sacrifices to keep the relationship going. Least interested or most indifferent=most powerful. Several answerers have explained their choice by saying that they could grow to love the person they're with. This also has to do with power in a relationship. You want your feelings to develop on your own terms, within your own control. Like Anurup Datta said in his answer, someone on the other side of the fence would be tormented by doubts about his/her partner's feelings (or lack of feelings). Being in a relationship with someone you love when they do not love you is a very vulnerable position and will only lead to pain. Therefore, I would choose to be with someone who loves me even if I don't love them. It may not be the most honorable choice, but it is a human one. P.S.
