Why can't vampires cross rushing water?
Water used to be believed to weaken any earthy-supernatural powers. Water commonly acts as a barrier (though some legends also has it act as a gateway). Anyways, in the old days it was believed vampires drew their power from earth (seeing as they returned from the grave), and running water would drain it away. By the way, according to a few folktales pixies, faeries and the like couldn't cross salt water.
Positives and Negatives about pet snakes.?
okay there's the thing, i am 14 & i have a chance of getting a pet snake if i earn enough money for it. I don't know why but ever since a was little ive always loved snakes and how amazing they are; instead of playing with barbies, i would play with little rubber toy snakes, haha! [just thought that would be a funny thing to share] well anyways, i was wondering if you could give me some positives and negatives about having a pet snake. And also, do u think they require/want a lot of attention or a little- and they just like to sit in there cage in peace.??

The cemetery was not dedicated until 4 months later. 7) The battlefield is much as it was back then, but now covered with more growth (trees) and monuments to regiments and individuals where they fell.
