So im in 11th grade, I really don t have a lot of friends, or talk a lot, and I really like this girl, but we have never talked, but last year and a little bit of this year she would look at me in class or while we pass each other in the hallways, she knows im not talkative because I had her in a class last year, but now I don t have any classes with her and rarely see her, but I really wanna talk to her so can you tell me what this means and how I can talk to her, and by the way she is in my grade and is very smart and has friends but shes not that popular and she s nice?

Is it important to write section numbers of Acts in the CA IPCC (intermediate) law paper (company law & other laws), and will we loose marks if we do not write sections?

Ipcc students have a lot of confusion about this question that quoting section is compulsory in Law paper especially in company law.As per ICAI guidelines it is not mandatory to quote sections and name of case laws at ipcc final, but at final it becomes mandatory to mention section and case laws. However if you want to score good marks then you have to mention the case laws and section of relevant act.It will give a good impression and if you impressed the examiner he will definitely reward you.But the real problem is mugging up the section so dear friend there is no need to learn all the sections. Once you start understanding the provisions of sections section number will naturally it sinks in your mind.So after 2–3 sincere reading you will feel confident and realizing that you know every sections and its provisions.Refer Practice Mannual it is bible for theory subjects most of the questions comes directly from Practice Mannual and from rtp so don't need to worry about sections learn as much as you can .Last but not least a good presentation is secret to score in Theory papers.Remember ‘reading makes a complete man but writting makes a prefect' so learn to frame answer in your way and then Match it with suggested answers.Best wishes for your upcoming exams .Remember Nothing is impossible for confident person like you.

I want to study but I can't. Why?

Well I have been in your situation and am pretty much recovering from it. So, I guess I am qualified to answer this. The thing that happened to me was that I didn't have well defined targets and even not any kind of targets. And by Target I don't mean what I want to become. That's your goal. Targets are the small steps that take you towards your goal.If you don't have time bound clear targets ..You won't be able to see the actual picture. You will just procrastinate things because you don't have clear idea about how much time it will take you to complete targets. You won't feel pressure of completing your targets. That said, believe me that pressure is very important for keep going. No matter how much you like a subject, you will procrastinate things. That's human nature.Second thing, we just don't start working and keep thinking whether I will be able to make it or not. Again , you can't see things clear enough if you don't dive in to it.So..Long story short…start doing at least something relevant and don't quit in between this time ….as the time passes you will be able to frame your tasks in time. Once you will have targets, you will feel pressure of your target which will keep you going.Hope this helps.P. S. Sorry for bad grammar and messed up structure. Am in hurry while writing the answer.

Why is history important?

History is important because WE ARE the past: we are the sum of all the events--good, bad, and indifferent--that have happened to us. This sum product guides our actions in the present.

This is true not only for the individual (imagine what would have happened to you had your parents never met, or had your parents raised you with different values), but for large societies as well (how would the U.S. be different, for example, if it had lost the American Revolution, or if the Spanish had founded the colonies of North America that became the United States?). In both cases the United States as we know it would not exist.

The only way we can understand who we are and how we got to be that way is by studying the past. Similarly, the only way we can understand others is by studying their past. If we don't understand what made them who they are--in terms of how they think and act--we will make all sorts of mistakes in our interactions with them. Think of how you treat people differently based on how you know them. The same is true for countries when it comes to diplomacy. Our failures in Iraq were borne of a limited understanding of who they are (because we haven't taken the time to truly study and understand their past).

ACT test scores importance for college?

alll accredited US universities accept both without prejudice. you do not have to take both but often students do better on one or the other and if you do take both, find out which scores are better and use those to apply.

you should not take either test before your junior year and should not prep for either test before end of soph year or summer before junior year, even if you are aiming at invy league. you want it fresh when you test and again, you dont want to test before junior year. this is because many colleges require that you show them all scores, and there is no point having a set of scores before you've had more exposure to classes in school.

you can check out resources for both in the link below

What is the best plan to study for the SAT?

I gave the SAT in October last year, and got a score of 1520/1600. I had a month and a half to prepare for it. I did not join any paid coaching specifically for it.I am good with English and since I was preparing for IIT JEE and other engineering exams, my Math and mental ability portions were also covered properly. But of course, the SAT is a whole different deal, and so I prepared from Khan Academy. They have a tie-up with the College Board and host the official SAT practice on their site.Khan AcademyI used the site extensively in that period and practiced all the English and Math exercises till I mastered all the skills, and then gave the practice tests. In the four tests I gave, I had scores of 1470, 1480, 1540, 1470, so as you can see, the tests match the level of the real exam.Everything you need to prepare for the SAT is available at Khan Academy, best of all, for free! It's a great site, I've used it before to understand complex Physics and Math topics while preparing for the IIT JEE. They have videos explaining all sorts of topics, from microeconomics to multi-variable calculus.{Note- If you too are a JEE aspirant like me, you will notice that SAT Maths has some portions we have not been taught, in topics like Statistics. I had to learn from videos on Khan Academy}Here's another good site, this time specifically for online test preparation. I used their free material to prepare the TOEFL (scored 110), not the SAT, but I'm sure they have nice material for the SAT too.Magoosh Online SAT Prep & PracticeFor the SAT, make sure you are proficient at English. You'll have to be good and fast at reading long passages (like this answer), have a good grasp over grammar and vocabulary.Try the Magoosh Vocabulary Builder app, it does what it's name suggests. You can build your vocab for the SAT, TOEFL or GRE. I'm using it now for because it's fun, like a game. There are other good vocabulary apps like Volte and Knudge.me, as well. Haven't tried them extensively, however. The best way to improve your English is to read good literature, however. Since I'm an avid reader, I had not much to do in English while preparing for the SAT.If you're not into online preparation, start by buying some books for SAT preparation. I did buy and complete (mostly) the Barron's SAT book. However, I found Khan Academy more useful and helpful. I haven't tried any other preparation books, so I can't tell you which is the best SAT preparation series.

I lose my mood for studying just before exams and don't feel like studying during exams. What should I do to avoid these situations?

Hi fellow quoaranIf  you have your exams tomorrow and you are in no mood to study for the same , it means any of the reasons below:You are procastinating the task of revising  stuffs , thinking  it's too easy to clear the exam  or you are too lazy, least bothered about clearing the exams. You are Saturated due to previous exams /bulky portions  to study / too much of revisions. Here is my piece of advise ;For those who PROCASTINATE : just give a thought whether you have to take a nap/watch tv/go online for 1 hour but end up doing it for one whole day...cram up things at the end and panic in the exam hall ORgo through topics within less time ,have sufficient sleep, wake up and go to exam hall like a hero glooming with confidence ( with no books in hands unlike others :p).Infact one should not discuss or read atleast 1 hour before exam . It just leads to lots and lots of confusion. For those who are Saturated: Keep it simple and easy when it comes to revising.Just go through headings, subheadings, diagrams and flowcharts. If you are not able to recollect stuffs don't startle ......just remember that it happens with each and everyone ...stay calm n sleep..... you can easily recall answer in exam hall.

I have only 20 days for my exam how should I study?

20 days.. peak period but don’t worry half of the students study in this days only .1 . Prepare your mind and fully concentrate on study you have only 20 days and timer is on tick tock.. tick tock2. Make timetable (its very important and intial part) and strictly stick to it .3. Divide the subject and give it a time slot . like in 4 days you wil complete this subject any how . If maths is your one of the subject , do it daily 1–2 hour . It just need practice .4. Take interval in between and don’t try to read each and every sentence , study that much part only which is needed ..5. 20 days is enough to prepare for school exam . It just you give your 100% ..All the best . .
