I Dont Wnat To Go College

What if I don't want to go to college?

The way I see it, here are your options:
1) Don't go to college and work a minimum wage job.
2) Don't go to college and start your own business and hope it works out.
3) Don't go to college and learn a skilled trade instead. If this is something that interests you, it is a fantastic option. Skilled tradespeople make a lot of money. However, these jobs are very hands on so it isn't for everyone.
4) Take a gap year before you go to college. Travel. Volunteer. Get a job. Have fun. Do stupid things. Do everything you've always wanted to do. Gain some life experience. Then go to college.
5) Go to college right away and stay positive. It won't be anything like high school; people will be more mature, you take classes you like, and you have independence. You don't have to major in something that doesn't interest you. College leaves room for a lot of options. You can explore; you can start majoring in something and change it to something completely different.

I hope you figure everything out. Just remember, nothing is set in stone. You are still young. You don't have to choose what to do with the rest of your life right now. You can start things and never finish them. You can change your mind a million times. It's okay to do that, and it's normal.

I don't wanna go to college?

Then don't go to college. A college degree does not guarantee that you will get a better job. And you're right, you'd end up having to pay back some student loans, although if your parents can't afford it, more of your money would be from grants, which you would not have to pay back.

The problem with "just getting by" is that low-paying jobs often don't pay enough for even the basics. You'd have to continue living with your parents or sharing a place, because you wouldn't be able to afford a place of your own. You'll be buying used cars, not new ones, cheap furniture, not the good stuff... you'll always be economizing.

I would say aim a little higher than "just getting by" but you don't have to go to college to do that. What you should do is research what kinds of jobs there are for people with only a high school diploma, and what they pay. Do what you can in high school to prepare for that kind of work.

Find out if your high school has any kind of vocational training, so you can graduate with a skill. Check with your high school counselor.

Is it bad that I don't want to go to college?

College isn't meant for everyone. And some people who attend college will never get their degree. Other college students will get their degree but barely learn anything. Society teaches us that college is necessary to have a successful life, but some people who graduate college still start off with low-paying jobs.

College requires thousands of dollars to be able to obtain a degree. If college isn't for you and you know it, don't go. It's a waste of money for you & a waste of your time. Perhaps you can go to vocational school and learn a specific skill, then apply it to your career. Or you can take a semester off and then consider if college is worth it.

What college do you want to go to?

My answer: Go Ahead! If you don’t want to go to College, don’t go! Simple as that.Personally, I’m a 20-year-old high school graduate. Despite managed to get into the prestigious National University of Singapore, I don’t plan to go to College and get a degree. The reason is simple: Why would I want to spend so much time and money to pursue a piece of paper and get a decent paying job when I can build my own online business in less than 2 years time and live the lifestyle I desire?I started my online business when I was 18 without any experience. And now I’m expecting for a Full-time PASSIVE INCOME next year 2019. I plan to marry my girlfriend by 2020 and we’ll travel around the world and live the freedom lifestyle we desire.Life is supposed to be lived and NOT worked for your credentials, your degree, or even your BOSS.Every single one of us have the capability to create our own passive income streams no matter who you are, where you are from and how old you are. Being an entrepreneur allows me to find so many opportunities out there that most people just couldn’t see. Because they’re constantly worried about their grade, their work, their next paycheck, next bill, etc…In fact, I firmly believe that Traditional Education is DEAD!If you learn from many of the successful people today, they’ll tell you the exact same thing. Traditional Education does not prepares you to become financially free because all they do is to prepare you for workforce.Instead of Traditional Education, all you need is Financial Education for you to live the life you desire. If you’ve read Rich Dad Poor Dad, you’ll know what I’m talking about here.Schools never teach us about financial education, passive income and how to become financially free. That’s why there are so many people stuck in the RAT RACE today. Simply because they are financially illiterate.I hope to wake you up with this post and make you aware of the possibilities out there.Trust me! Anyone can be financially free because Financial Freedom is a CHOICE!To learn more from me and how I build my online business, please check out this post:What can I Do if I Don't Want to Go to College? I don't want to go to college after graduating?

After years of stressing, pulling my hair out, not enjoying my life even a little bit, and severe depression, I've decided that I probably don't want to go to college/university. After next year, I'm graduating. I'll be 16, and I'll have to figure out what I want to do with my life by then or my mom will force me to go to college (she's not letting me leave the house or live with my father who's much more progressive until I'm 18, which I hate.) I never really wanted to go to college, even when I was younger, because I didn't find the replaying of stressing over school adding debt and a boring work life much fun. I'm going to start my own business while my mom is making me stay at home and see how it goes, but I don't want to tell her that I'm considering not going to college because I know she'll tell me I'm making a big mistake and that I'll regret it. People say that college isn't the same as high school, but people told me that high school would be better than middle school, middle school would be better than elementary, etc. Are they right? Will I regret that choice? Will it be better than high school, or will I be spending four years stressing about money and grades all over again? I'd rather off myself than go through that again, I honestly hate school, and want nothing to do with the people and schools where I live once I leave it.

Should you go to college even if you don't know what you want to do?

It depends. If you got into a good school and received a good financial aid package, I would say yes definitely go for it. Pick a marketable major like CS and start. If you don’t like the major change, you’ll have a solid foundation in math, science, and writing. You’ll have a structured learning around to continue to push you even if you feel lost. You’ll meet plenty of people who are also looking for their path in life, and it will make your path seem less scary, which will allow you to try new things and experiment, ultimately figure yourself out. You can continue to explore who you are and what you want your whole life, but spending a few years working at department store/ coffee shop etc. while you figure things out is a waste of time. Going to college doesn’t stop you from doing things that you want to do you, you’ll just have to be more frugal with you time. When I hear this question, it usually comes with a undertone some money issues. If you’re wondering if it is a waste of money, it is not if it’s a marketable major like STEM majors. If you can’t get into a good school and get financial aid, I would say resort to more creative methods. Ex: teach yourself to code, how to make YouTube videos, start a business, fail, learn, repeat. I would say the lack of structure in this option makes this harder than just working hard because it is very easy to just sit back and not do anything without the sense of urgency like exams.Whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Have a plan, execute, learn.

What happens if I don't go to college?

Do you play sports?  Is so, imagine playing baseball without a glove, playing golf without a putter, playing football without a helmet, playing basketball in denim jeans or swimming with your shoes on.  You can still play all these sports, but you'd be at a severe disadvantage against your competition.  It is no different when it comes to a college degree.  In fact, those with an Associates degree are at a disadvantage to those with a bachelor's degree and those with a Bachelor's are disadvantaged to those with a Master's degree.  So if you consider this hierarchy,  where do you think someone without a college degree falls?  Dead bottom of the choice pool for employers, that's where.  Even with experience, eventually, you will get passed over for promotions without a degree.  The reason is that a degree shows that you have determination, drive, and can reach a difficult goal.  Those are character traits you need in order to compete.  Without the degree, you will fall short of your competition.  You can apply later, but you will miss out on the social experience and will be behind those who graduate before you.  However, those who go to college later, tend to take it more seriously and are more focused since they don't care so much about the social circles.
