I Dream About Things I Have No Way Of Knowing

How do you know you're not dreaming? ?

Because I am awake and do not dream except when I am asleep. I think, therefore I am, and I wake, and do not dream, philosophically speaking.

Why do I keep having dreams where I'm in danger?

The dreams are yours. Sometimes they are caused by stress, sometimes they are caused to add excitement also. Ask yourself first what is going on with your life. I have ran across a lot of people who don’t have anything major in their life happening, yet they can’t understand why they dream about situations that place them in danger. Dreams can do a lot of things, they can also be entertaining. If you have no stress in your life, the possibility is that life got so boring for you that your subconscious put you in exciting situations. The other aspect is you are having a problem where you are trying to find an answer for “something” in your life that needs resolving, but you just haven’t figured out a solution. Each dream may tell you more based on who was in the dream and the scenario. When  it comes to dreams I don’t believe in random, I always look to see what I am telling myself. The subconscious communicates with you to enforce ideas, to tell you of problems, to show you desires and fix issues you have in life. The trick is to remember that what we give you on line is like a guide, something to think about. The real interpretation is how you perceive it. No one will know you better then you or know about what you are going through in  life. Look at what we say and evaluate it, but the final answer to it’s meaning is based on your answer. If it is your dream, you can change it, focus after the dream of what you could do to change the dream in a conscious state. If it’s an assault, imagine yourself winning the battle. If it’s a trap, imagine a way out. If you are being chased and hunted, turn it around and become the hunter. If that doesn’t work, and I know this is going to sound silly, play a video game where you have to fight creatures. There are actual studies that those who play video games fight off their nightmares. Google this: Video Gamers Can Control Dreams, Study Suggests.

What does it mean if you dream of fighting?

Fighting can mean several things. One of the basic functions of dreams is to develop our survival skills. So in dreams you will often face things that are threatening. In those dreams having a fighting response is a good thing. If you are in a conflict in a dream then try to grab hold tight. The opponent with struggle hard and first and then ease up. If you look again at what you are fighting you may find that you are struggling with yourself. Y are dreaming that you are in a fight with your inner turmoil. Some aspect of yourself is in conflict with another aspect of yourself. Perhaps an unresolved or unacknowledged part is fighting for its right to be heard. It may also parallel a fight or struggle that you are going through in your waking life. If you are fighting to the death, then it refers to your refusal to acknowledge some waking conflict or inner turmoil. You are unwilling to change your old attitudes and habits. To see others fighting in your dream suggests that you are unwilling to acknowledge your own problems and turmoil. You are not taking any responsibility or initiative in trying to resolve issues in your waking life.To dream that you are trying to fight, but cannot throw your arms as hard as you want signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence in some area of your waking life. You are unsure of your next move. This dream may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis during the dream state.

Why did I dream in another language?

If this was my dream I would look at the possibility of this being from a past life. It’s not uncommon for memories of past lives to come back through dreams and people are always blown away by the details and things that they had no way of knowing when they discover a past life either through dreams, a random memory resurfacing or regression.Take a look at what else was going on in the dream and your surroundings. What types of clothes were they wearing? Where did the dream take place, for example in a story, a cafe or a house? What did you talk about with the man that you spoke with? The clues to why you were brought to this time will most likely be found in the details. If past lives are something new to you then before you write it off you might want to do some research there are many credible sources now that are just not in the main stream yet. Brian L. Weiss, MD is a great place to start he came across past lives doing hypnosis by accident and has documented many cases. There’s also Dr. Ian Stevenson who spent his life studying and documenting cases of people who remembered past lives. There might be something from a past life that you’re now ready to heal and that’s why you had this dream.

Do Psychics really know the future?

There are different levels and types of psychic ability. Some can see glimpses, like looking into a reflection in rippling water, it can be difficult to know exactly what you're looking at. There are people that dream of things from the past, present and future. People that can see images when they touch an object and close their eyes. Some just have a knowledge, like knowing what's going to happen next, just before it happens.

Do they really know the future? Hmm, well, they would have to see it or have some connection to it first to know about it. They don't see everything that's ever going to happen, some don't even have any or much control over it.
