I Dreamed About Dogs Again Who Can Interpret

I dreamt my dog was stabbed and died - interpretations?

Well, you begin my looking at the important figures in the dream and examining what they represent to you, then you examine the actions in the dream. The people (or dogs) in your dream represent parts of yourself, and what they do/what happens to them represent changes you are experiencing/fearing/anticipating, etc.

Think about how you view your dog: obedient, healthy, great companion, loveable. The dog represents these positive traits in yourself. You only described him briefly, but when you reflect on the interpretation think more about what the dog represents to you.

In the dream, your dog is under attack. He is killed by a man. Think about the traits of the man in the dream. The conflict represented in the dream is vs in yourself. You seem to have great affection towards your dog... the dream may be indicating that the gentler side of your personality is being overtaken by the harsher, mannish side of your personality.

In the dream you get a second chance. This is an offer of encouragement that you can reverse the threat within yourself that your unconscious is sensing.

Nice dream!

please let us know what you think of my thoughts! I kind of rushed through it and am limited working with just your written description. A full dream analysis requires questions and answers to uncover what the symbols in the dreams mean to you. I am a long time studier of the Carl Jung school of dream analysis, and a big believer in the worthiness of listening to the messages in our dreams.

I keep dreaming that my dog is dying. Can you interpret this?

Wow - really interesting. I will look at this both ways:
Without the friend issue, I think the dream shows that you are concerned about something that may be drawing you away from caring for your dog - or you are finding the care of your dog to be somewhat of a burden at present (our subconsciouses are very unkind things.) LOL
Now with the feelings for the friend, you could have a concern that your romance would leave your dog emotionally out in the cold, as it were (but not too likely) OR it means that you are concerned that your friendship with your friend will be sacrificed in the pursuit of the romance with them...ah, I think we have it! So your dog is a surrogate for your friendship - that is always in risk when you try to convernt a relationship to romance.

Black dog bitting my arm dream interpretation? HELP?

It is hard to interpret dreams without knowing situations in your waking life. But I will give my two cents on familiar imagery that I've encountered through personal research and experience.

Often in dreams, when there is a character that is dark, in shadow or 'black,' it could be something you do not have full knowledge of in waking life - such as: a person you do not know, a situation you are unfamiliar with, a product which you're not sure of, etc.

Many things come to mind, but two key points I noticed in your example: it is a dog and it's bite did not hurt. I don't know what you think of dogs, but they can be very friendly, sweet and loving or diametrically opposite: frightening, scary and threatening. Perhaps you have a dog or met a dog recently that you were slightly fond of? This might have been superficially hosted as an image of a general problem or situation in your real life. Because the bite did not hurt, I'm wondering if you're really not intimidated by this obscure animal(situation, problem or whatever!), but protective of your niece and nephew being threatened. Because it did not let go, whatever problem or issue you cannot resolve in your waking self, might be trying to hold on to you like the threatening dog in your dream. Then again, I could be totally wrong,,,

How can you interpret a dream about a dead dog?

Usually, dreams are symbolic rather than literal, so in this case, I would say that this might symbolize the end of a friendship or relationship where someone was loyal to you. On the other hand, if you’ve had a bad experience with a dog in the past which has made you afraid of dogs in real life, then the dream may indicate the ending of such a fear. It all depends on what the idea of a dog means to you personally. And lastly, the dream may be literal or precognitive…you might soon come across a dead dog or there may be an accident involving a dog (hopefully not!).

What does it mean to dream about being chased by a dog?

Dreaming about being chased: “This is one of the most commonly reported dreams. Mostly because the anxiety we feel in the dream is so vivid, that it makes it easier for us to remember them. Often, the reason for these dreams comes not from the fear of actually being chased, but rather what we’re running from. Chase dreams help us to understand that we may not be addressing something in our waking lives that requires our attention.” From HuffingtonPost.Dreaming about dogs: Probably something to do with your senses and perception of the way your life is going. Dogs usually represent companionship, loyalty, protection, affection, energy, playfulness, etc., so maybe having them chasing you can reflect your feelings towards those qualities. What were you running towards? When did the dogs come in the dream? Were the dogs vicious? Could you recognize the dogs? Was there water, vehicles, food, or other objects involved (the huffingtonpost article described mainly those experiences/things).Sometimes dreams can be mainly figured out by the dreamer.

Why am I dreaming that my dog is talking to me?

Well, alot of times dreams are subconsious things that happen to us in our daily life. Do you have a great friendship with your dogs? Can you just look them in the eye and know what they need/want (food, a walk or a cookie)? Well, when you do talk to them... you talk to them in English... and you have a feeling that they know what you are saying "sit" "outside"... things like this. Also, they are loyal to you, and they understand that with out you they would be alone. Your dreams most likely dont mean that you are crazy... rather it means that you have an understanding of your pets and even though they may not answer in English when you talk to them in your wakeing hours... that does not mean that your mind can not give them a language in your dreams. Just out of curiosity... is this dog your fav? I ask because it could be your mind reminding you that you do have favorites. If this dog is... he may be telling you that he knows... if he is not... then he could be telling you he needs more attention. I hope I have helped a bit. I am not a pro dream interpreter... but I have studied it a bit. Good luck hun!!!

What does it mean to dream about a white dog?

Well, first of all, it is important for us to understand that everything in our dreams originates from within the head of the dreamer. So, the question is: what does it mean to you to dream of a white dog?It might help if you answer these questions:What is the dog doing? Is he just sitting out in the yard? Or is he growling and baring his teeth while he prepares to chew out your throat? Is he leaning forward with his paws extended on the floor, begging you to play with him? Is he posed on a rock outcropping with the sunset behind him like Rin-Tin-Tin? Is he asleep in your lap while you work at the computer? What kind of a dog is he? Is he a guard dog? Is he a scavenging mutt rummaging around in your trash? Is he a poodle? Is he a Chihuahua (wow, a white Chihuahua … that would be cool!)? Is he a Great Dane? What is he doing? Is he chasing you? Is he just lying about here and there in your dreams? Is he talking to you in the voice of your weird uncle Jerome? Is he always by your side like a trusted companion?Does he have a collar? Is he wild or well-groomed.Is he your dog in your dreams? If not, whose is he?Does it bother you that he’s white? Is that even important (although my guess is that it is, since you mentioned that, but not what breed he is!)?Is this dog a male dog or a female dog? Does that even matter? What’s your experience and feelings about dogs in general?Do you realize that dog is god spelled backwards?Answer all these questions, then think some more about this dog in your dreams. Maybe the answer as to what he means will then be clear to you. If not, ask again with more details!

Why am i dreaming my dog is drowning?

i have a 1.5 y/o aussy shep. she LOVES swimming. she's good at it too.

over the past week i've had 2 dreams where she's been drowning. the first one involved her, my fiance and myself on a rollercoaster, she didnt get off with us, and ended up swimming into the sea. we got her, but she wasnt lucid, had to swim back to shore, under water to get under an electric fence. then she had hypothermia and i had to find a blanket and kept saying "look at mommy" over and over until she finally started coming to.
the second one, my fiance took me to tahiti, we were in a spa that overlooked the ocean. she was on a sand dune with my mom and her bf. there was this big rock blocking the dune from the water but the tide started coming in at night and it was getting really deep. i couldnt find her anywhere. dover down and saw her floating above me. i was screaming to people to find my dog. some man grabbed her front paws and tried to pull her onto the rock. i got her and saved her.
why?
