IPhone screen won't turn when I turn it sideways?
Same thing happened to me, the instructions below worked for me and should work for you too: double click the middle button and go to the far left and hit the button next to the music that looks like an arrow, you may have locked it. Good Luck!
Dropped iPhone in water, screen is black, sound still works?
Listen to me. Your phone is lost. Ill tell you why. You heard someone text you which means the phone is on. You leaving the phone on allowed water to pass through the circuit board and it fried the connectors if the screen went black and soon the battery will be gone. Rice won't help because water has already made it. I had a iPod I washed and it had detergent in the screen. I turned it off and left it in rice for a week and the detergent is gone and it works perfectly. When the phone is submerge red it's pretty much gone
Dropped iPhone in water and volume keeps going down?
About a week ago I dropped my iPhone 4 in water. I removed it immediately, patted it dry, and put it in rice for a while, however I didn't put it in rice right away because it seemed to work fine. After taking it out of the rice the screen was a little water damaged but that got better on its own and the home button was glitchy but now it works fine. My only problem now is that the volume keeps turning down on its own, whether the headphones are in or not. If I try to turn the volume up I can see the volume bar shrink to nothing. Usually, the shadowy gray volume box remains on the screen like its continuously being lowered. Ways to fix this issue would be great, thanks!
IPhone 6 volume buttons not working?
so today I accidentally dropped my iPhone 6 in the toilet. It was conpletely submerged for only a few seconds. It had a MODAL case on it. I put it in rice but did not turn it off. Everything seemed to work just fine. I eventually did turn it off, but then about 20 minutes later I turned it back on. I needed to see if anything was wrong with it. All was well, so I continued using it. Now, the ringer volume randomly goes down and will not go back up. When I go into settings, and try to turn it down it stays up. i turned it back off and put in back in the bag of rice. An hour later I got it back out. Now the volume buttons won't work. And when I'm listening to music, the volume wont turn down. Randomly, the volume shows up in the middle of my screen, turns Down, and won't go away. The phone was working fine before all of this. Is this water damage or an issue with the buttons? Do I need to take it somewhere to get fixed? I got the best buy warranty when I purchased my phone, does it cover eater damage? Will they still fix? IPhone Sound and Microphone NOT WORKING!!?
Ok i have an iphone 3g jailbroken, after like 1 week after jailbreak and firmware 4.2.1 i saw the iphone started being really slow and the sound and microphone not working all the time ( even maybe for days) and hard rebooting does it rarely, also the youtube app says to everyvideo this movie could not be played, probably for avoiding errors. The iphone sometimes gets extremly hot while in sleep mode so i cant turn it on so i have to harf reboot. i noticed the sound stops working when it overheats. I can't rejailbreak because it took me ages to make the phone bought in the us work in europe and theres no apple store here or apple center so cant do any of those. Also i fixed the iphone being slow by disableing multitasking and home wallpaper but the sound problem persists. I do have cydia. Any cydia/appstore apps or solutions to fixing this without happening again? PS: The ipod app doesnt work at all too if i press a song it goes to the play screen and in half a second goes back to the song list. Also when i call someone it wont ring and if i answer i dont hear them and they wont hear me! I've tried: Plugging the headphones and unplug them. Shutdown/Hard Reset the phone with the headphones inside then unplugging before boot etc. Hard resetting and restarting SEVERAL TIMES Played in the settings all over the place Disabling multitasking (as said) help me please, 10 points

The phones worked fine for some time when they were not shaken to much arround.Should it not work afterwards, then your phone probably shorted out electrically. This really means that you can’t do anything by yourself. (Exept you are a skilled engineer with the right equipment to deassemble your phone, repair circuits and put it back together without breaking it)The best thing to do then is to hand it over to apple and get a replacement phone for a discounted price. Usually there are no “quick fixes” for a phone with liquid damage.
Dropped my phone in water. Any way to fix it?
I was about to take a **** and I was looking at Facebook on my phone and as soon as I went to sit down I dropped my phone and it went into the toilet. It was in there for about 2 seconds. I took it out and dried it immediately. It still works perfectly fine but the only thing wrong with is it won t play and noise out of the speaker anymore. Sometimes it will pop up with a notification saying "this plug my not work for this phone" or something like that when there is no plug in the audio jack. If anyone can tell me what to do or what I should do then please help me. Thank you.
