I Dyed My Light Brown Hair The L

How can I dye dark brown hair light brown without bleach?

Is this dark brown natural,or dyed? If it is color treated hair You can't,really. Color will not lift color. If you don't have the patience to wait for it to fade gradually, you could try to remove a little intensity by shampooing with Dawn. This will lift the cuticle to help some color leach out. Possibly. Be sure to condition well after this. Your best bet is to see a professional colorist as this is iffy. There are mild bleaching procedures that can be performed in salon, and a new color may need to be applied to achieve your desired result.

Can I dye my hair silver grey straight from a light brown hair with a box dye without bleaching?

no. and neither should you! henna is really the only type dye thats good for your hair, but lightening the hairs extremely bad! you see the pigments that give your hair color, are not on the surface but several layers deep inside the hair shaft. the only way to lighten hair is to destroy the pigments.. only way to do that is penetrate the hair and break it downthis is what hair looks like after being lightened (probably a few times to get this bad) the whole structural integrity is destroyed,. the pigments inside are either burned away, or dissolved (lemon juice lightening)no matter what dyes you use going darker only stains the outer layer, going lighter destroys the inner layers.

I have dark brown hair and I want to change it to light brown?

I have naturally dark brown almost black hair and I used a box dye l oral excellence number 7 . But it did not change much of my hair color just reddish brownish tone added to my dark brown hair and I wanted a light brown color. How can I achieve that ?
I'm thinking of never using a box dye. Im buying a tube dye so What color level should I apply ? And should I use a 20 volume developer or more ?

I naturally have slightly dark brown hair. can I dye my hair blue?

Yuppers. Im not a professional but mine is dark brown and I've dyed my hair blue several times. First you have to lighten your hair enough for the blue to show (which would mean getting your hair bleached). If you don't want to spend the money on getting your hair professionally bleached then you do what I do and use either one of these:You can get these at Walmart or Shoppers Drugmart, and possibly other places. If you have really long thick hair (like down-to-your-elbows long) then you might need two boxes. Make sure to follow all the instructions in the box very carefully. If your hair is a reaally orange color, you might need to bleach again (make sure to wait at least 1 month before bleaching again). But if your hair is a lighter brassy color like this:You can still put blue dye in it. Though keep in mind, the more yellowish your hair is after bleaching, the more green your hair will be after the blue fades. As soon as your hair is totally dry from the bleaching, blue the blue dye in right away. Right now your hair will be “thirtsy” from the bleaching so it will soak up the dye and will keep the color longer. My personal favorite color dye is Jerome Russels Punky Color:This is the best semi-permanent dye I've tried. Got it as Shopers Drugmart (you might be able to find it at Walmart, I'm not sure)Tip: use some cheap conditioner to help washout the dye. Your hair will still feel kinda stiff (or kinda like straw) from being bleached recently so it will stick and trap excess dye from washing out, the conditioner will make it slippery so more dye will come out the first rinse.Keep in mind any color dye will slowly come off, so use dark color towels you don't care about. If you want it to last longer make sure to use color protection shampoo and conditioner.Sorry this is such a long explanation! If you want more info you can private message me :D

I dyed my hair brown and it didn t change color?

Yesterday was my first time dying hair, so I didn t know much about it.
I dyed my hair brown with L oreal hair dye.
Well, since my hair is very black I guess that s why it didn t change color (I should ve dyed it with light brown, so that it ll turn brown...I think?).
So what do you guys think? Do I have to dye it again light brown so that it ll turn brown or it ll just damage my hair even more and I ll just have to wait 2 months?

Will my brown hair go blonde when I dye it?

1st option, try to dye your hair with L'oreal has "Excellence Hicolor" its for dark hair only. I've heard it worked.

2nd option, some say to bleach it, they said that it will try orange, but keep bleaching it until it gets blonde.

3rd option, Others said a High Lightening Kit

4th option, they said that you should choose the lightest blonde possible, they said you want to pick it 1 or 2 shades lighter than what you want. .

5th option, Stylist

6th option, Because your hair is a naturally a light brown, you could strip the dye from it, using a hair stripper. I really love Color Fix, but alot of people I know like Color Opps, though I used it and it never work for me personally. Then you should beable to use a bleach like dye like Clairol's Born Blonde dye. My sister uses it alot and it works and her hair doesn't get damage with it.

EXTRA// Though with any of these options you will need a really good shampoo and conditioner. I use Dove's intensive repair, though Mane and Tail is really good also. If you choose to use the stripper, from someone who used it twice alot of conditioner and hot oil treatment is a must.

I put some links below that may help you. Good luck!
