I Feel Different After Weed

Why do i feel so different after smoking weed?

Okay so me and my friend smoked some weed about a month ago. I was at his house we were playing Xbox. He pulled a container out of his closet and he asked if I wanted to smoke. I didn't really want to smoke but I did anyway after we went outside and smoked a few bowls we came back inside and started playing Xbox again then I remembered that his mom was home and that freaked me out I started to panic and get scared about getting caught and I had like the worst panic attack in my life. And after that expirience I've been paranoid and scared about everything. I feel like unreal and detached from my body. And I think way too much. Why does everything feel different and weird after I smoked. My stress is through the roof. I don't know what to do how can I go back to my old self. Calm, relaxed, easy going. I just need someone to talk to I guess.

When I get high off weed, why do i feel different than everyone explains the feeling of being high?

I've been smoking for about 8 months and I always feel kinda crappy after smoking. I never experience seeing "trippy" stuff, I never feel like I'm floating or anything, I never feel like I'm in another world, I never see that colors are more vivid or anything. I do feel different when I smoke weed though, just not really in a good way. I never become really happy after I smoke, however sometimes when I smoke resin I am put in a good mood easily and i have fun. It still doesn't give me an awesome experience like everyone says about getting high. I get the munchies, I laugh at stupid things, I get tired, and I feel some of those symptoms of being high, just not the good symptoms. Then when I burn out, I feel really crappy. Everyone loves getting high except I don't love getting high. My first time getting high felt different from most of the other times I've gotten high. Does anybody know why this happens?

If you describe what you feel when you are high, I will tell you what I feel that you feel.

Why does my marijuana high feel different?

At first I just assumed I was smoking low quality weed (I always buy dank), despite it looking and smelling really good because my high wasn't as good as it usually is... but even after I bought new weed from a different dealer the high still wasn't as good as it usually is.

During my high everything looked like it was softer (if that makes sense), but I still felt like I was in touch with reality, I rarely zoned out, I became anxious, and I over-analyzed everything so I became very self conscious.

Why do you think my high has been different recently? Could I be smoking some sativas or am I just building up a tolerance?

Do you feel smarter when you smoke weed?

I do not think weed makes you dumber or smarter. The weed high varies from person to person, as stated below, but it also varies dependent on method of consumption, strain, purity, and how long the bud has been left to “cure” (although this only increases the potency of various cannabinoids like THC and CBD).I find that indica strains tend to affect my body high more than anything. I feel very relaxed and mellow. In a word, “stoned”, rather than high. My thought process isn’t majorly affected, just slow and a little more abstract. My perspective and observation becomes incredibly focused, but rarely on complex or difficult topics.Sativa strains have a major affect on mental state, and I feel “high” rather than “stoned”. As Veljko put it, my thinking becomes far more lateral. An example that comes to my mind was discussing with my girlfriend whether or not, in South Park, the people of New Jersey are self-aware of being in a tv show, because they break the fourth wall to seemingly appear on reality tv.On top of all that, I find that I can concentrate, with creative and exciting results, but only on things that are interesting to me. I once tried smoking a little bit and trying to take notes for a university module, but it took me half an hour to read a paragraph. Conversely, I’ve built some impressive (imho) stuff in Minecraft, SimCity, and other video games.I’ve also had philosophical and political discussions whilst stoned. Whilst tangential, they were very interesting and mentally stimulating. I believe we were discussing René Descartes’ Meditations, namely the cogito ergo sum. After seeing how poorly the US election was going, I also blazed up just as Trump took Florida. I could still follow the broadcast, but the whole thing seemed like a surreal satire, and I thought more about the wider consequences of a Trump victory, rather than upon his policies or his persona. So, in short, it doesn’t make you more or less intelligent, but like all drugs, it changes your perspective. Each drug I have consumed has provided me with a new portion to my perspective of life.

How come when I smoke weed I feel like im in another world?

i smoked on and off for 13 years and i felt like that the whole time, like i had two lives.
In a way, u ARE in another world. Non-tokers will never understand what we mean. Its all about perception. And theres nothing wrong with thinking it btw..
U say the straight world is the 'real' world, but to me, when i smoked, the straight world was the fake world.
Like the quote "are u sleep-walking thru ur waking world, or wake-walking thru a dream"?

I quit toking nearly 5 years ago. I dont miss it. Even tho i still believe the world is fake. I just dont need or want the weed to get thru it anymore. Reality isnt all that pleasant when u figure it out, but it is much better being in control of ur own mind.
Hope u get what i mean one day.
Best of luck and stay safe.

How does one feel after smoking too much weed?

Its different for each person. Personally, I sometimes will feel like life isnt real and i'm not real and nobody is real. Nothing is real to me. I begin to heavily question life and it will sometime send me into a panic. Other times, I completely dose off eat about a weeks worth of groceries. It feels like your body is weighing you down and that you're in a different world. Well, not world. Maybe dimension? No, just a different mind set from others around you. Most people will get paranoia, extreme cotton mouth, nausea, intense hunger, etc. These are all common effects and the best way you can deal with them is to lay down, drink some water, get some food in your system, and try not to worry.

Why do I feel antisocial after smoking weed?

Weed interferes with the production of the nuero chemicals of the brain ( ie ) seretonin , norepinephrine , dopamine ….If you feel anti social after smoking , one could lightly assume that your seratonin or norepinephrine are too low or too high ( while under the influence ), both extremes can produce results that are contrary to youre natural way of social expression. Each individual has different reactions to weed because each person has a different chemical makeup. The type of weed you smoke could also effect this. Alcohol and other drugs also effect nuero chemicals. This is why people who are predisposed to mood issues are more likely to use mind altering substances .Julia Ross a Nutritional Psycologist wrote a great book on this topic called “ The Mood Cure”’Here are a couple examples of brain chemicals and their function.Seratonin - controls wakefulness and sleep cycles , depression and anxiety, in addition to digestion and hormonal connections to estrogen , progesterone .Norepinephrine- focus and mental clarity, social confidence , drive ,Dopamine - pain and sense of well being , motor skills, correlated to and influenced testosterone
