I Feel Like A Weirdo For Not Wearing Makeup

(GUYS) Do you like girls who DON'T wear makeup?

I'm 16 and don't wear makeup except for special occasions (parties, holidays, etc.) I get teased by the other girls at school because it's weird I don't wear makeup. I have a reason for not wearing makeup though. I feel so unnatural when wearing makeup. I hate the feeling of it on my face and my eyes. I have a really young looking face. I get mistaken for a 14 year old many times. My mom was the same. She never wore makeup at all when she was young. She got mistaken for an 18 year old when she was 37! She's 56 now and looks like she's in her early 40's. I want to be like that when I'm older and don't want to ruin it with makeup, but it seems like all the guys like girls who wear makeup. Is it weird that I don't wear makeup? :(

Too much makeup for a 14 year old?

I think it is a little much, if you have dark circles to cover up then that's fine, but I don't think you need the pressed powder as well, or the blush. If you feel like you need some color in your face just wash it in the morning before you do your makeup, it will freshen it up a lot. On some days if that still doesn't work or if your skin is looking really bad, those products are fine to use, just not too much and I wouldn't suggest it on an everyday basis. The smokey eyes can get to be a little bit much but if you make sure not to go too far with it I think it's ok for certain occasions. Lipstick is fine but red is a bit extreme, honestly a light pink or any neutral shade is so much better. If you look five years older than you are I think you oughta tone it down and make it look a bit more natural, it is great though that you're experienced with makeup because that'll come in handy later on :-)

What do you think of guys wearing makeup?

Initially ,when I saw men on YouTube wearing lot of makeup I got kinda shocked and it really looked weird on them “makeup with beard” . But slowly and gradually I got used to watching em’ in their wonderful videos and also Manny Mua is one of my fav makeup artists now :* I mean look at him he is so gorgeous and I think these youtube sensations Patrick Star,Manny Mua ,Jeffree Star etc are doing really good they are inspiring millions of girls along with making millions. And I can't deny that their makeup skills are faaaaaar better than so many random female makeup bloggers or youtubers. I mean they are beyond comparison .One of the most important things is that it's their choice , they have a right to do whatever they love to …we shouldn't be judgemental .As far as we know by wearing makeup these men havnt caused any harm to the society so what's the problem ? Instead they are inspiring the people living in the society by their magical makeup skills . ;)So if you have any problem with them stop watching or following them . As simple as that :)And also your favorite actors wear makeup 24*7 ..I mean most of the time . Do you dislike them too? No. RightSo stop relating makeup with feminity.

No Makeup vs. Makeup...?

Hello! I'm 15 year old that doesn't wear make-up often, so i can tell you my advice.

Benefits For Natural: You look more natural, clean and fresh. You don't have to worry about cleaning off your make-up at the end of the day, or constantly re-applying it. You could touch your face and be joyful without having the expense of ruining your makeup.

Benefits For Makeup: Usually, girls who have makeup on are more confident about their beauty. You could make your face appear a whole lot different than your natural face. With makeup, you could enhance and define your facial features and give you a look that you've never had before. You could experiment with make-up and see which colors go best with your features. If you choose to wear eye-makeup, your eyes will definitely have this intense look to them, your face will be covered, as in, you wouldn't have to worry about a pimple showing or wrinkle lines if you wear concealer, foundation and translucent powder.

(The benefits are basically the Pros & Cons)

*** Guys, depending on who they are can tell. I have met a few guys who have noticed that I was wearing more make-up than i did the day before. And i have met guys who don't even notice or care if i have a blotch of foundation a different color than the rest of my face. It's all depending on which guy tends to look and observe more on the details of your face.

Good luck!

Guys: What do you notice on a girl more- cakey makeup OR no makeup?

I cant decide between wearing foundation or not because it looks cakey sometimes and its annoying. But I have weird skin tone (im pale and slight redness naturally) so thats why i use it.

Do guys notice it more if you are wearing makeup that looks cakey? Do they notice more if you arent wearing makeup?

I know girls know the difference but do guys even notice these things?

How do I get the confidence to stop wearing makeup every day?

Here’s MY question to YOU —How do I get the confidence to *START* wearing makeup every day?You see, it all depends on which side of equation you are starting from.On your side, you’ve been wearing makeup everyday and you’d like to stop. While on my side, I haven’t been wearing makeup everyday and I’d like to start.Funny how that works, isn’t it?Here’s what I’ve been doing to build up my confidence:To get myself accustomed to sitting in front of a makeup mirror, I’ve embraced the use of skin care wholeheartedly. After I shower and use a foaming cleanser on my face, I head over to my vanity table to have a good look in the mirror:And then I start my skin care routine: Toner, Serum, Moisturizer, and SPF.And now I’m ready to ‘face’ my day.Naturally, you could do the same thing yourself. With five or six skin care products on my face, that’s the next best thing to wearing makeup (well, not exactly ;).But here’s the point I’m trying to make. If you enjoy the self-nurturing experience of sitting in front of a vanity mirror and attending to your face, you can accomplish a LOT without actually using pigment there. You can create a dewy look; you can improve the look of your eyes with eye creams; and you can even out your complexion with any number of serums.Although you and I are approaching this question from opposite lines of inquiry, what both of us have in common is a desire to look nice in public.I do it with skin care, and so can you. Also keep in mind that this is not an “all or nothing” situation. You can still wear makeup when you’re in the mood to put some color on your face. That’s what I keep reminding myself too :)

Do women wear make-up to attract men or to make other women feel inferior?

A bit of both, depending on the woman, and something else, again, depending on the woman.I do it to fit in. You see, I am neither charming, nor charismatic in a crowd. I am also not an eye catcher in terms of just my facial features or my body. I blame my sedentary lifestyle. Large groups or strangers push me into a shell. At least the shell has a window through which I observe other women who are able to command attention of people. I received dreadful customer service as a student in loose t-shirt, ill-fitting jeans, slightly messy hair, and sunken eyes. I was fed up. To be fair, Boston area has much better customer service. Maybe its an effect of a large student population who are too busy to look put together? Maybe people are just kinder here.In the summer of 2017, I was going to India to visit family. I decided to wear my best top and jeans, put on lipstick and eye-liner. You will not believe how good my experience was. Airport security, irrespective of which airport, airline staff, cashiers, everyone was being so nice to me! I thought that this was the effect of me looking good. To test this assumption, I ditched makeup on the next travel. I was not messy, I was neat and tidy, but no makeup. Whoops, fall in customer service experience. On the return journey, I put on make-up. Good customer service! Since then, I have repeated this experiment a few times, with consistent results. My personality hasn’t changed. I am still polite, and carrying a smile when approaching them. So, I use make-up to get better customer service.

My crush saw me with my makeup running down my face?

it was snowing today and i ran into him at CVS and we looked each other in the eyes and because of the snow my makeup was soooo smudged around my eyes and i looked like a racoon... and now he prob thinks i wear so much make up ( i really dont) and also could he ever think im pretty now that hes seen me this way? with crap all around my eyes. ahhhh why does this stuff happen to me!

How do I tell a beautiful girl she doesn't need make-up?

I know this East Indian (Gujarati) woman in my botany lab who wears a lot of makeup and looks really good, but would look even so much better if she just took it all off.
It's so obvious that she is gorgeous underneath it. You can tell her skin isn't perfect underneath it, but it's not bad at all, and would actually look better without anything over it. Especially in the long term. Her eyes are HUGE, dark, and deep, and her eyelashes are already like 2 inches long. Her lips are deliciously dark like a plum and the only thing she should even THINK of wearing is lip balm.

As a man, I would think that telling a girl she is so naturally gorgeous that she doesn't need any make-up at all would be a compliment: God made you beautiful so you wouldn't have to!

I think most women would take this badly, like you do your makeup badly and look ugly kinda thing.

Is there a nice way to tell a woman something that is essentially nice, but sounds bad?
