How does it feel to get fired from a job?
You are allowed 3 days of depression, sadness and uselessness, and then after that, you are mandated to be happy that you are shed of that sh!thole place, what the hell did they let someone like YOU go for, you were the best thing that crap job had going for it..and when the biz goes under (and it will my friend), you can dance with glee and buy your old mates a round of cocktails bec by then you'll be making 20k more a year at your new job!

Am I going to get fired? I recently overheard a conversation that my boss I believe was having about me on the phone. I am not sure if he knew where I was or not. Talked about salary, resume on the internet. Lack of a girlfriend in fairly suburan area. All was aware of dark horse of myself arriving late to class after having a one night stand.Major metroplitian area filled with young singles is 30 mintues away. I applied for a transfer with the job 6 months into it. I am in training program the company has office in the major city but I am in their suburan office. Since I have applied for the transfer things have steadily gone down hill. I have been continutally micromanaged and belideled. Cited negatively in performance reviews, those issues have since been corrected though. I recentley took two days of vacation. Would they fire me on Monday? I am parnoid but dont know what to do. An heard the boss said he things I will quit since i wont be transfered. Will they fire me first?
Why do I get fired from every job?
You are right, you cannot fake genuinely "clicking" with someone. But after many years in the workforce I learned that I had to be civil to everyone no matter how much some people repulsed me. A worker can have mediocre job skills, but have a great, friendly personality. Compare her against another worker who is very intelligent, has great skills, but is antisocial. In most work places, the friendly personality keeps the job, the other one gets the door. Having the opinion that you are better than the boss will show in your behavior and words. That will get you fired. And yes, your outward behavior must change and conform to workplace norms and standards, or you will continually be fired from every job. It's your choice. Eventually your negative personality traits will become so well known, that you will run out of employers. Swallow that pride of yours and be a pleasant worker.
