What does it mean when you feel like someone is watching you?
I don't know really. I have never felt like I was being watched. The stories that I myself do have of being watched have had nothing to do with feelings and have been documented. I have, however, felt the cold breeze, or cold air, and then found out one day what it was. My daughter and I were eating at Denny's around New Years and just talking. A little girl ran by our table, her skirted dress was an old fashioned full type with pantaloons that showed the edge of the bottom of them as her skirt swished around her. I wondered just a bit at her dress style but didn't think too much of it except that she seemed to go by like a breath, and I wondered where she came from. She was happy and I briefly heard a sound of children laughing around the corner beyond our booth. Seconds after she passed the table my daughter looked up and asked "What was that cold breeze that just went by?" It felt, she said, like somebody had opened a door and let the cold in, but there was not a door by us; I instantly knew that i had just seen a child /ghost/ running by and this answered my question about where she came from. There were no children playing around the corner. A cold breeze, or cold spot will often, if not always, accompany a spirit from the other worlds or other side. IF you felt somebody watching you and the cold air, it is very likely somebody was watching you. Very few of them are out to harm.You will be surprised about what is really going on behind the scenes of what you see in this life. Just be ready and hold on to your hat, unless you intend to share it with another and that is totally up to you.I had no personal experience of the existence of another world behind this one in this way, until about 11, 10 years ago. I stopped going out for awhile, because of it, not the other way around the way is mentioned below. And you will find that a lot of it has nothing to do with ghosts of dead people. But then, I also was set up for it intentionally, among other things that have occurred in my life and the cold air have been completely separate circumstances.AND always.... ALWAYS, I cannot stress this enough; Just because you are paranoid does not mean it is not happening.

If you live in a slightly older home, you may get this feeling from time to time and even hear strange noises when you're alone. It is only the house settling from day to night. Wood expands and contracts with the temperature and the humidity. I have a friend who got spooked when she first moved into an apartment in Baton Rouge, LA. She covered all the mirrors in the apartment for three days. She said after that she was no longer spooked by the sounds. I think at 17, we were all a bit paranoid about everything around us. You probably have watched too many slasher movies. I wouldn't worry about it. But you could sit down, one afternoon and talk out loud to your house. I used to do this, I always asked the house for protection against all that would harm me and my family. I know this sounds weird, but I don't see much difference in my talking to the house and others speaking to a Deity who they've never seen and yet have faith enough to believe it is God.
I feel like someone is always watching me?
I'm not sure why I'm doing this, maybe I'm insane but it's driving me crazy so I'll ask anyway. I always feel like I'm being watched by someone. I get that tense feeling in my back and i always get really cold. This is especially prominent at night after everyone has gone to bed. I mostly get the feeling when I am trying to go to sleep and some nights it's so overwhelming that I go sleep in my parents bedroom. . . I know something is wrong when a twenty year old is sleeping in her parents room on the floor. I just don't know what to do, I'm religious and I come from a religious family that doesn't believe in ghosts and they laugh at me everytime I suggest it's a demon. The bible says that someone who is a true christian can't be posessed because there isn't room for both the Holy Spirit and a Demon within a persons' soul. I think if I weren't a Christian I'd be going mad. But then again maybe I already am. Either way the only time I get relief is at church. I've tried everything I can think of, I've placed a bible in my bedroom and it didn't help. I've tried telling it to go away and I only felt like someone was sitting on me. I just don't know what to do. If I don't feel watched, I feel like someone is touching me. If I don't feel touched, I feel like someone is sitting on me. I always have tremendous back pain. I think my breaking point was last night when I was sitting at the computer and I heard female giggling coming, very briefly, from my computer speakers. . . the power to the speakers was off. I just don't know what to do, no one will believe me but I do feel this way. I have no history of mental illnesses in my family but maybe I am crazy. Help.

You believe somebody is watching you, but in real life there is no being there.You seeing an object moving is something known as visual hallucinations. You hearing an explosion is something known as auditory hallucinations. You have mentioned, since 20 years old you have been experiencing these symptoms. This is very common. It looks like your first encounter of symtoms have started in later adolescence.If you feel that your symptoms are irratating you or preventing you from completing your day to day activities? You need to be careful. It sounds like you have not expressed thoughts of suicide. But, I really think you should contact your local doctor. You need to make sure you are safe and be given reassurance. From there you could be given anti psychotic tablets such as quetiapine 25mg start dose. Alternatively, you may need further assessment and treatment. You could volunteer to be admitted in hospital to find out how to make you better. You could be signed posted to a community mental health team to give you further support with these symptoms. You would be taken care of by the community nurse and psychiatrist. This is quite informal. I know it sounds like a bit too much information, but its normal to experience whatever you are going through. You just need the right support in place.

I agree with what Ms. Kay Yates said. Your “6th sense” is probably what you are sensing when someone or something is watching you.We are not alone in this world. There are spirits all over us, but only those of us who have a 6th sense or someone who is a sensitive will notice things of the other world. I sleep okay, but my son who also has the 6th sense, he has to sleep with a nightlight. I know of someone who sleeps with the bathroom light on in her room in order to help her sleep.I hope this helps, and don’t pay attention to those who laugh, and think that you are crazy.
