Oh honey leave him. He's definately not good enough for you. He sounds like a total control freak and has no appreciation for what you have done for him. You have done more for him than the wife of the year ever did for her husband! He needs to wake up and smell the roses or he needs to start packin and hit the road! NO body deserves to be called stupid, ignorant or dumb, or have thier meals insulted that you slaved for. If I were you the next time he expects you to cook for him tell him, nope sorry my meals are lousy so since I can no longer live up to your expectaitons I am now resigning my position as head chef, maid, and slave and you can fend for yourself. That or you can just tell him to kiss your butt and leave! No one deserves to feel less important and if he's making you feel that way he's lower than dirt. Hell, your worst enemy wouldn't treat you that way and your husband, the one that should be making you feel your absolute best, shouldn't most of all. It's time for you to sit and think about yourself for once and decide what is more important for your welfare and the welfare of your children. Yes to the first part, no to the second. I was a stupid punk and deserved to be cuffed. I also bragged about being arrested to my friends. How's THAT for being an idiot?
How do I convince my friend NOT to join the military?
Okay, so, he wants to join the military after high school and I am trying to convince him to go to college and get an education instead, since he's got a 2230 on the SATs, athletic accomplishments etc. The reasons I have so far are: 1. It's too dangerous - you could get hurt, get PTSD or die etc. 2. You could make more money with your brain, i.e. finance or law. 3. You're a free spirit, don't sacrifice individuality for conformity etc. 4. The current wars are unjust (not sure if that is actually the case, but enough people are saying it to warrant a point, in my opinion) His mother and most of our friends agree with me, his father and a couple of his guy friends who spend WAY too much time playing Call of Duty (in my opinion), of course, side with him. Any more reasons not to join the military? I.e. bad experiences if you are/were in the military or what worked for you if you were in my position. Thank you, I'll choose a best answer.
