I Feel Things Touching Me

Why does having things touching my neck make me feel so uncomfortable?

You are fine. Some people can't wear turtlenecks, others can't bear to wear a wrist watch or the feel of wool. Some people are ticklish. Some aren't. You have a sensitive neck. I am the same way. No turtlenecks for me! I don't wear clothing with high collars and I'm very uncomfortable with necklaces that touch the base of my neck. "Uncomfortable" means I immediately rip it off. Once I tried to force myself to "get over it" and wore a turtleneck to work. I stopped on my way to the office to buy a blouse to wear instead. Couldn't do it. It was driving me nuts. I am also very sensitive to the feel of fabrics. A few suggestions that might help. Wear soft polo shirts with an opened neck. The shirt and tie is a tough one -- I've often wondered how I would manage if I wear a man. Have yourself professionally measured to make sure you are buying the correct size. Don't have the shirts starched. Buy the softest fabrics. Experiment with larger neck sizes. You can buy button extenders to give yourself a bit more room. See if removing the collar stays help. Consider shirt stays designed to keep your shirt tucked in. It just may hold the collar down further on your neck. Lobby hard for business casual dress (good luck with that -- it would be easier to change industries!). And don't lay down wearing a collared a shirt on. FYI, my brother was born with the cord round his neck. He liked turtlenecks just fine.

I feel something touching my shoulder?

As far as I can remember I've always felt like something is touching me. It's not anything like a tap on shoulder and when I turn around no one is there, but it's more like I feel someone touching me on the back with their hand. When I first experienced this, I wasn't sure if it was all in my head, but I soon begin to constantly feel someone brushing their hands against my back and then basically on my around my arms and neck.

At first I ignored the fact that I'm feeling things I'm not suppose because it does sound pretty crazy that I feel someone touching me when there's no one there. Gradually, I keep having the same experience over and over again, but I keep telling myself that it's all in my head. After awhile, I'm starting to feel very irritated and frustrated at the same time because I keep feeling like a millions hands touching me all over the place. At times it creeps me out a lot and other times I just let it slide. I'm not so sure what to believe or what to do. I'm starting to feel like I'm imagining things and that I might be going crazy. I got really curious so I went online and searched up what is happening to me, but I couldn't find any helpful info. I'm just wondering if anybody ever experience what I keep experiencing. Am I really going crazy or is there really someone there touching me all the time?

Can you feel something without touching it?

Besides inner feelings such as sensations as others have mentioned and hot or cold, those that can not hear or see have a more heightened sense of feelings. Vibrations, such as made by music, someone's step, or the sound of a car engine, even a door closing, wind at different speeds and temperatures. The feeling of movement, falling, forward movement, climbing or spinning, our inner ear reacts to these often causing motion sickness, you feel what you breath, the consistency of the air, when you step, you not only feel the ground beneath your feet through your shoes, but the density beneath it, it may be soft like mud or hard like concrete. You feel when you are sick, we'll or just not right, you feel when you need to eat, sleep, relieve you self, thirsty, hunger pains can be horrible, monthly cycle women feel also which brings heightened emotional feelings as well. You feel achy or tired from an activity, you feel energetic or anxious when cooped up, you feel physically nervous or sickened by fear, you can feel physically sick at the loss of something or some one, you can feel relieved, exhausted or physically angry when they are found. You can feel high, intoxicated, dizzy, headaches, toothaches or any kind of pain, you can feel fear, or impending danger or guilt when your stomach drops or the hair on the back of your neck stands up, sexual arousal, natural instincts are physical as well, nearly all living things have them and intellect or emotion is not necessary to feel them. It is almost endless what we feel with out touching it, then you have emotional and intellectual feelings.

It's a unique topic for me to be writing of (Soul speech / Soul Language / Soul relating). So, wondering what your thoughts / answer of my posed question. Have you heard of this before? If yes...please share.

My friends boyfriend keeps touching me and saying things and i feel really uncomfortable?

So, i am single, and my friend recently got with this guy. He seemed like a really great guy for her. Before they started going out, me and him spoke sometimes, but we weren't close. Anyway, lately, he has been really, sort of, jerky with me. I did a dancing performace the other day, and he saw it, and he told me that i looked 'sexy' and i am very 'flexible'; but he said it in sort of a innuendo way. Also, when he has been saying hi to me and stuff, he would hold my waist or skim my a$s. I would tell him to get of and move his hand but he would act all innocent and make me feel stupid. He also frequently says i am 'hot'. I have spoken to my friend about it but she says he is just naturally 'flirty' and i am 'over-reacting'. What do i do?

Is it normal to feel someone/thing touch you while having sleep paralysis?

Yes.Sleep paralysis involves a couple of things: first, your brain has released a cocktail of chemicals to keep you from moving around in your sleep so you don’t act out your dreams. That paralysis can feel like a weight on your body, or like something gripping you.Second, you’re dreaming while conscious, so all the sights, sounds, and feelings you might get in a dream are happening to you. Lots of people report the experience of sleep paralysis as an “old hag” sitting on their chest and crushing or choking them. (You can google the term “old hag” for these stories).Physical sensations, hearing sounds, even smelling things is not uncommon while experiencing sleep paralysis.

Why do my teeth feel weird when i touch cetain things?

It is a bizarre question but i have a similar thing. When i touch something like a cotton ball - the squeeky sound it makes when you touch it makes me want to grind my teeth. And i am talking about just touching it with my hand. I am not putting anything in my mouth... i think that is what you are saying, too. No idea why. But, you are not alone..
