I Fell On My Back Yesterday. It Doesn

I slipped and fell on my back yesterday, and today my lower abdomen is in so much pain.?

as you slipped, you may have pulled your ab or groin muscles. at the time, you were concerned with the pain your back and your head, and not too happy with Dad, so you weren't thinking about your abdomen/groin. once, when i fell on my back, it took overnight for soreness in my elbow and shoulder to develop. i didn't realize i'd hit those hard as i fell. rest. it will subside. if it doesn't, see a doctor to make sure you didn't tear a muscle.

I fell down the stairs yesterday and am in a lot of pain..?

The stuff you are talking about is muscle related and the dr. isn't going to be able to help you with that at all. Here is how to release your back which seems to be in the worst shape:
Back:
Place your left hand on your left leg and try to keep it straight. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.

Baby fell from sofa yesterday?

When your son has a fever that high then yes you need to.. But I dont think it was from the fall that caused that.. My baby was about 2 to 3 months when he fell off and landed on his head as well. We also live in a mobile home. He literally fell head first and I wouldnt let him sleep for awhile because I was so scared that something was wrong. But he is perfectly fine. He already has problems with his head anyways so that could have made it worse for him but that is why they have that soft spot on their head to protect them from falls like from a sofa or anything. He might just be sick or something. But you do need to take him to the hospital just to be sure that everything is ok and that the fall really didnt do any damage or anything.

Injuries take time to heal. Scar tissue remains. You're lucky that it wasn't worse. I fell on my bike 15 years ago. I still have problems with it. Can't sleep on my (preferred) right side due to the effects of nerve impaction in my hip. There's no simple remedies, however you might try some of the packs and poultices that might work. Don't expect miracles.

22Wks pregnant, and fell on ice yesterday?

I would call your doctor just to let them know you took a fall. Chances are, everything is perfectly fine with baby. He/she still has loads of room in there and is well protected in the amniotic fluid. As far as your back and hamstring, your OB doctor won't be able to do much for that. You could go to the ER or visit a family practice doctor to get those looked at. They should be able to tell, but tell them you're 22 weeks pregnant anyway, so they don't do x-rays or offer medication that might be harmful to your baby. Also, if they do prescribe anything, check with your OB doctor before taking it, just to make sure they're aware of what you're on and to ensure that it's safe. Other than that, keep up with the heat and cold packs. Rest is about the best thing for a pulled hamstring (I used to get them when running). Massaging the muscle also helps. Stay hydrated to that plenty of oxygen gets to the muscle, it will help speed up healing and don't do anything to strain it for a little while.

For your back, you could check with a chiropractor to see if anything slipped. Sometimes that can pinch a nerve or cause pain and the chiropractor can adjust you to help. And most have tables designed for pregnant women, so you'll get to lay on your stomach, which feels REALLY good!

Hope you feel better soon!

9 weeks preg, fell down stairs yesterday..Pain..Please help? :'(?

Yesterday morning i was walking down the steps, somehow i slipped and fell right on my ***.
I fell hard , now my back hurts, my butt hurts (Mom called my gyno office yesterday and a doctor called us back and said the baby should be okay because it's very protected). Now today i'm having this sharp pain in my abdomen, its way below my belly button and on the right side. I told my mom about it an hour ago when i started feeling the pain, now when i bend over and cough or do anything it hurts really bad. My moms gonna take me to the emergency room in like an hour because she's still in her pj's..She has to take a shower and get ready. -_-

So what do you think is wrong? Soo many things are crossing my mind right now like:
What if the baby is growing in my fallopian tube instead of where it's supposed to be?
What if it's twins?
What if i'm going to have a misscarriage from falling yesterday?
Did i do something wrong that could have hurt it?
Is it another cyst?

I'm ******* clueless. But about the cyst question..In April i had cramps in my lower right quadrant and i went to the E.R and they did an ultrasound and said it was from cysts on my ovaries that had ruptured...Could it be that again? And if so, would the baby be okay?

I haven't gotten an ultrasound yet now that i'm pregnant, i want to get one and when i go to the emergency room i hope they give me one so i can figure out what the hell's going on..Will they tell me how many babies i'm having and if they're hearts are beating and if they're growing right? Or will they just do the ultrasound and say "No nothings wrong" or "Yes somethings wrong"??
I've been taking my prenatal gummy's everyday and i haven't had any bleeding, what could it be?

Thanks everyone, sorry about all the questions in this...I'm only 16 and of course this is my first time being pregnant..Please don't judge me. I'm keeping the baby or babies. I'm just scared to death on what's wrong. Thanks. (:

First of all the spelling of the word Scotty is wrong. It should be scooty. Now is it correct? NO!!What is a scooty? It is a brand name of a type of scooter. Do you watch Bravia at home ? Or a television that is made by the company Sony? So also scooty is a brand name of TVS company. Then next grammatical error in the sentence is to do with preposition. By is used when you want to mention the doer. the action is done by the “agent”. Scooter by itself can not make you fall.. Your sentence must be:Yesterday, I feel down from a/my scooter.

As a good rule thumb when it come to asking if you should go to the ER or not, try "When in doubt, check it out".  If you go when you needn't have, all you've lost is time and money.  If you don't go and you should have, you could end up losing a whole lot more.In most cases, there actually isn't all that much they can do to treat a fractured coccyx (the tailbone).  It's not like that can put your backside in a plaster cast!  Women end up fracturing theirs during childbirth with too much frequency, and the only treatment offered is time. [If you're not going to be breastfeeding, you're more likely to receive pain meds.]Every once in awhile, though, you can break the bone at a bad angle-- one that might cause significant problems.  In such a case, it may need to get set properly, which could well involve surgery. As someone who broke his coccyx many years ago, let me add something from personal experience.  Don't tell all your friends about your painful injury, looking for the sort of sympathy you would get for a broken wrist or ankle.  Expect instead, "You broke your butt??? Har! har! har!", which comes off as somehow not quite as sympathetic as they no doubt meant it to be.

It depends on where exactly you are feeling the pain as to how to treat it.Firstly you should go to a professional physiotherapist or doctor to get a scan to properly diagnose what it is.I am not a physiotherapist and can’t give advice but can tell you how I have fixed my own lower back issues through physiotherapy and a lot self treatment. Also, is the pain radiating down one of your legs? Or up into your lower back area?If it is down one of the legs, it is possible you have some compression in one of the the lower lumbar discs. To help alleviate this, you can decompress it by putting your lower back in traction - easiest way I could do this was to let my legs hang while in a dip station (see pic):It’s the best pic I could find. You don’t need to raise the legs or work your abs, just breathe, relax and let them hang for 20–30 seconds at a time. This will take a lot of pressure off the spine. You can also lay on the ground and have a friend lift and pull your legs or think of your own variation. If the pain is radiating upwards, it is likely an issue with your gluteus minimus or gluteus medius. To help this, you need to stretch and massage it to release it. See pics:If you google or type ‘glute stretch and massage’ into youtube you will find a wealth of info on how to do it and will explain better than I could :)That is just a start. You still should go to have it professionally diagnosed but these exercises will help alleviate the pain.I hope this helps.
