I Find White Vomit In My Yard Every Day And It Is Not My Dog Or Cat

What should I do if my cat is vomiting white foam?

If your kitty is vomiting white foam, check to see what kind of plants you have in the household. If your kitty is chomping on some of them, put the plant up away from where the kitty can reach it and purchase some grasses some of the pet stores sell. I had a pet sitter at my home, I did not know the plant on my formal living room table was poisonous to cats, she always stayed upstairs but the new person, left the door open and she came down stairs and decided to nibble. When we got back, she was at death’s door and they asked me if she had been outside maybe got into something poisonous and we said no but now, thinking back and remembering the conversation of what the sitter said, we realize she probably munched on that plant and it killed her. The ER Vet could not bring her back, it broke our hearts that we lost her due to that plant. Same thing when we visited a friend, they had inherited a dog because his brother had passed away. They had a beautiful backyard with lots of plants and the dog was allowed to be out they at all hours of the day and night. The dog munched on something that was poisonous and it killed him. Please be aware of what kind of plants you have that will kill pets….lillies are one of them, there are many more.

My cat is very weak. Didn't eat for 2 days not drinking water at all. Vomited with a round worm in yellow liquid. Took her to vet she gave a dewormer. Now kitten is very weak and breathing heavily. What can I do?

I concur with the advice to consult a vet. I had a similar experience when my cat suddenly stopped eating. Took him to the vet and they couldn't find anything wrong after an exhaustive battery of tests; he was hospitalized for 4 days. The vet finally gave me the surgical option to insert a feeding tube from his neck, either that or he'll die. I gave permission for the procedure and took him home the next day. I made him a comfortable bed in the bedroom closet and injected food and water through the feeding tube every 8 hours. He was near death for 2 weeks, but miraculously recovered after a month. We never found the cause of his illness. Cats are resilient creatures and in many cases they often get worse before getting better. Give her love and care, and whatever the vet prescribes, and you will have given her every fighting chance to pull through.

Why does my cat eat grass every day then throw up? Is that okay?

I took my beloved kitty outside for years. He ate a lot of grass and then started to not eat as much food and was also throwing up. The first stupid vet I took him to said he would eat when he was hungry and cats throw up a lot. This is so totally wrong! When I became dissatisfied with this answer I took him to a natural vet who said he had IBD and I should force feed him. Well, you can imagine what that attempt did for our relationship. In the end it turned out that he had stomach/intestine cancer. When he started to get uncomfortable with the cancer I had him put to sleep. In hindsight, I think all the chemicals our condo assc puts on the lawn every year poisoned him and caused the cancer. (I wonder what it is doing to people’s grandchildren who play on the lawn)A cat eating grass is not a big problem. A cat throwing up everyday is a BIG problem. Take your kitty to the vet NOW. He may just have IBD and if treated promptly will not turn into something more serious. If I had been better informed at the time I would have switched my cat over to raw food to ease the IBD. Good luck and I hope your kitty gets better!

My cat ate curling ribbon and is vomiting and not eating. Has anyone been through something similar?

It has been 2-1/2 days now and he's still vomiting. Now the vomit is just white or light brown foam. The cat ate the ribbon early Sunday morning (today is Tuesday). He vomited what seemed like most of the ribbon up on Sunday but he has continued to vomit and not eat. The ribbon was from a curly bow with pieces of one foot length max.

I took the cat to the vet today and she said to watch over him and bring him back tomorrow if he still has not eaten or pooped. The cat has been acting very defeated, hiding, puking, and not acting like himself. He has not lost weight though and the vet said he is not dehydrated but gave him a 200ml subcutaneous fluid boost and a shot to try to deter the vomiting. I will leave updates on here as time goes on for the future use of others in this predicament.

My dog is throwning up white foam?

My 3 year old Shiba Inu as being throwing up white foam, for a day now. In total she has thrown up at least 10 to 15 times. She as become very quiet and is normally a very active dog. I'm not sure if she just has a really bad stomach ache but she hasn't been eating and won't drink any water.

Can some tell me what is wrong with her, because I really don't want to be taking her to the vet to find out i'm just over reacting, over a really bad stomach ache.

Is my dog vomiting on purpose?

I don’t think dogs would vomit on purpose. Find a new Veterinarian that will help you more than just saying he is healthy. There are many reasons that a dog would vomit.Make sure his poop is solid and then break it open and see if there are any signs of wiggly little white pieces that look like rice. If there are any, then that means he definitely has worms and a vet needs to tell you what kind and give you the medication to treat it. If his poop is not solid, then he most likely has an upset stomach as well.Is he eating to quickly? It seemed to reduce the frequency of vomiting when you started feeding him smaller meals. I’m wondering if he is not chewing his food enough. You might try spreading his food out so that he has to walk more to eat and this will result in him eating slower. Is he eating a dry food diet or a wet food diet or combination? Too much dry food could mean that he isn’t getting enough oils and fats in his diet. Too much wet food means he might not be getting enough fiber. You might try adding a little pumpkin puree to his food. It has been known to calm upset stomachs in dogs and is high in fiber. The amount would depend on the dogs size. A 10 lb. dog might only need 1/2 a teaspoon where a 200 lb. dog might need 1/2 a cup.Does he always have plenty of clean cool water available? Are you changing foods on him? A dogs stomach will get used to certain brands of food and an abrupt change in diet can cause an upset stomach. I would recommend gradually changing him over to a dog food made for sensitive stomachs.Dogs can have allergies to certain foods also. I have heard of dogs being allergic to different grains, veggies, meats, eggs and even peanut butter. This is a long process and you would have to do some home cooking to determine what the allergy could be. You would start with a single ingredient like boiled chicken. If no reaction to that, after a few days you can add something like rice. Keep introducing new foods every few days until you find ones that he has a problem with. I would introduce foods in the order that the ingredients are listed of the dog food label you are feeding as long as you start with a meat. If you run into an ingredient that causes him problems, you have found something he is allergic to and know to avoid foods with that item in the future.
