I Found In A News Paper That One Can Remember 500 Words Within Seconds. How Can We Memorize Such

How do Chinese people memorize thousands of Chinese characters?

That’s another ‘China Myth’, right? But the truth is: a Chinese character is not an English/Latin letter, but it is a word, or even a phrase. If you could recognize 1500 Chinese characters you can use Weibo/WeChat and you can read most of the daily use information printed in Chinese language. If you learn 3500 Chinese characters you can read books, newspaper and live a normal life in China, you can get a job easily. If you learn 7000 common used Chinese characters you can read any material in college level or in very specific researching fields. You don’t have to know more than 7000 characters to be a lawyer, a doctor or a teacher. The 7001st Chinese character and more are only for linguists or historians, even though there are more than 25000 characters, but you should know, many of them are derivations or variants of the ‘7000ers’ or some of them were just had been used historically.Compared with this, I remembered there are more than 1 million English words exist in the world, you can’t understand a lecture in college if you know less than 6000~8000 words.I don’t think you can read the English used in medicine, legal, bio-chemistry, psychology or such fields if you don’t know more than 10000 words. There are freaking grammars, freaking ‘borrowed’ words from French, Latin, German, etc. in such fields and some ‘English’ words you may never use in your every day life. They are hard as hell, and some relative clauses, the ‘longer’ sentences, are worse than hell in legal English. The so called “pros” (professionals) in such fields, just learn those craps for years and years to make sure that you don’t know what they are talking about, while they are really speaking ‘English’ to you. This situation doesn’t exist in Chinese language, a lawyer can explain some cases very clearly to a peasant in China in very FORMAL language, and that’s not because we are smart, it is just because our language is simple. As a pupil in an elementary school in China, he or she just need to learn around 200 characters per semester, it means only 40 characters per month, 2 characters per day approximately. After 6 years study he or she will master 2400~2500 characters, in the middle school there are another 1500 characters, when the kid is 16 years old he or she just know more than 4000 characters. And that’s quite enough for the kid to use for his/her entire life.

How can I easily memorise a 1500+ word essay?

I used this method to memorise a couple of speeches but then found it was effective for learning generic essays by heart aswell. I remember completely memorizing 3 essays (1.5k words) in around 3-4 hours. Also- when I say “read” I mean walk around and say it :) it helps.1) Read the first sentence. (1st parra)2) Try to recall sentence.3) Read next sentence.4) Recall 1st sentence.*start from top if you can't recite it.5) Move on to next sentence.Do this untill you can easily recall 5 sentences in the paragraph.Move on to next Parra and repeat.Come back to initial Parra and recite the 4 sentences. Follow the same 1,2,3,4 step routine to finish off 1st Parra.Go to 2nd Parra and try to recite it, then finish it off.I normally took a 5min drink break and continued doing this with the 3rd and 4th parras.Same method for intro, but I save it till the end as it normally has the least “external content” and is therefore the easiest to remember. This is what worked for me, I hope it helps you too :)-wrote it on my phone, soz 4 all the shorthands m8.

How can I memorise 10 pages in 1 day?

Well ya really put yourself into a bad situation here...First, you need to make sure you get to bed at a reasonable hour and get a good nights sleep. This is literally the most important part--eventually you get diminishing returns with studying to the point where you forget more the more you try to study. Past that, you have a few options:The best option is to literally just write out the article on separate pieces of paper...not type, write it out. I can't remember the exact statistic, but research has found you remember things something like 5x better than if you read them. However, this may take too much time.Another good option is to read it out loud. Look at the page, read the article, and say it aloud as you read it. Make sure you do it multiple times, every repetition helps. The last thing you can do is just to read it silently a bunch of times...probably the worst option but I'm not sure how much time you have and how much noise you can make. The most important thing is repetition...in my experience I've found that repetition and memorization are inherently linked. Repetition and learning, not so much, but you just wanted to memorize.Hope this helps, and good luck!

1.You will have to write at the very least three essays per day. Your goal is to write 500 words during 30 minutes. You will want to read the New York times in order to learn some academic English verbs which may help you improve your writing skills. It means that you need to create the introduction of your speech by mentioning the main thesis , two supporting arguments , and the inference. I have improved my oral skills by talking to myself. Do not forget to set a timer up by using an online watch. In addition, you can use your own mirror reflection as an excellent listener. I do so though I have the opportunity to speak English within my everyday life. Most importantly, you will need to start talking to yourself privately in English rather than asking and talking to yourself by using your first language. In doing so, you will be better than the best. I believe in you.3.You will want to listen to different types of conversations as well as audio books.
