When I was a student, I was bullied, but dealt with it. I then saw other instances of bullying as a student and then later in life as a coach and referee I have had to squash any “bullying”.It is usually good to do some self-assessment and determine if there is any activity/actions that you are doing that puts you in direct contact with these people that could be “slightly” modified and reduce contact and therefore reduce or eliminate any bullying.Out of sight and out of mind is a well used saying.All the best.

Can you be more specific? What size is your tank? Flowerhorns are big fish and need about 60 gallons. Is she by herself? Flowerhorns can bully each other. If her tankmate is bullying her, these could be injuries. What are your exact water parameters? Ammonia and Nitrites in ANY amount are toxic. Nitrates above 40ppm are toxic. If you have any of these readings, do a large water change immediately. How often do you clean the water? Flowerhorns can be sensitive to water quality and require diligent water maintenance. Do 30-40% water change per week, and vacuum the gravel. Is there anything in the tank she could be hurting her on? Think sharp ornament, hard plastic plants, sharp gravel, etc. Does she have other symptoms? Like clamped fins, rapid gill movements, white stuff on her, other wounds or sores...

As Mr Pierce stated, they need tank-mates that will neither pick on the relatively peaceful bichirs, nor be eaten by them. That being said, I’m not a fan of species only tanks personally.Not all bichirs are created equally, and not all can go in with the same tank mates. None are true community fish.I have Senegalus Bichirs - which grow to only about 10 inches - in a tank with Eclipse catfish, and smaller, fairly peaceful New World cichlids like Rainbows and Acara, and all cohabitate well.I have Ornate Bichirs - which can reach about 24 inches - in a 180g tank with Oscars and Jack Dempseys. The cichlids can be boisterous, but the bichirs aren’t shy, and they all live together well. The ornates are a bit more aggressive than the Senegalus, and hold their own well with the large cichlids. Not an ideal setup, but the 180 is the largest tank I have running, and it’s worked well with that stocking for a few years.I can think of several large, peaceful fish that would probably do well will some species of bichirs: large silver dollars, as stated; large barbs, like Tinfoil; large loaches; like Clown. . . Really, any large, peaceful fish would have a decent chance of working.It’s a good idea to have other tanks available in case you have to relocate troublesome fish, however. Bichirs, despite their tendency to eat small fish, are really rather peaceful, and sometimes shy fish.I also agree with not using feeder goldfish. Or any feeder fish purchased from a pet store, really. I feed shrimp pellets, cichlid pellets, pieces of raw shrimp and krill, and the occasional earthworm to mine.In an aquarium where they thrive, bichirs are a fun, interesting addition.

Why do Godzilla Fans like to boost and bash gamera fans?
Many people think Gamera is a rip-off of Godzilla. In many ways Daiei, the company that owns the rights to Gamera, copied Godzilla and tried to rival with Toho... which they failed at if you know it went bankrupt in the end but they did succeed initially. Gamera is in many ways the same as Godzilla: - Huge reptilian monsters - started of as villains - came back and eventually became the protector of humanity (Gamera children only... what a dick) - had a reboot series where they became neutral forces (though Gamera still protected children) - Both have similar powers: Godzilla has nuclear breath, Gamera has fireballs, both have regenerative powers (Godzilla's superior though) and are very powerful fighters. However, if we were to pit them against each other, it's clear Godzilla is the stronger of the two. If we take their strongest incarnation, Godzilla is taller, heavier and has greater physical strength, speed and stamina. His atomic breath his definitely more powerful than Gamera's fireballs and as I stated earlier, his regenerative powers are greater. Gamera may have the ability to fly, but Godzilla has dealt with those types in the past. True, Gamera's defenses are probably greater than Godzilla's (going with the whole turtle aspect) but Gamera's just too disadvantaged. I don't hate or disrespect Gamera, I all love giant monsters, but I am sorry for how my fellow G-fans can act at times.
