I Got A 3 On My Ap French Exam. Is That A Good Score

Tips on How to survive the ap french exam?

Of course the natural, boring response would be ''study intensively''. But my answer depends on if the test is oral or written. If it is oral, then watching french movies and listening to french music, which is both fun and educative. If it is written, then you could read books, magazines or newspapers written in french. Joyeux examens!

Are AP Exam scores ever wrong?

Are the AP Exam scores ever wrong? I mean, i just called in and the machine told me i got a 4 on the 2008 AP US HISTORY EXAM. Before you jump to the conclusion that it was probably my essays, i want you to consider the fact that:

-i spent more time on APUSH than any of my other 4 ap's (which i got 3 5's and a 4 on French, which i am TOTALLY fine with; french is hard)
-i got a 5 on EURO and 5 on English Language
-i got an 800 on SAT II US History, which is the hardest SAT II; also 800 is 98th percentile
-i got a high-5 on the mock APUSH test (2001 exam) ONE WEEK Before
-i don't suck at writing essays or reading; CR is 730 and writing SAT score is 790
-i have had the second highest grade in a class of 33 throughout the year; our teacher has a excellent pass rate (80%)

Additionally, for this exam, i forgot to put one of my AP labels on my Multiple choice answer sheet. Was this a problem?

To get at least a 3 on French AP exam?

I am currently in my second year of high school french, french 2. I am not planning to take anymore french after french 2. I currently have a A in french 2 right now and had an A in French 1. However, I would like to take the ap french test.

Would it be hard to get at least a 3 on the AP french Exam?
Are there any sources or books to help me to pass the AP test?

Is getting a Bad Score on the AP Exam Worthless?

I recently found out my AP U.S. History Score (by mail) and I got a 2 out of 5........omg I been saying and praying that I get at least a 4 or a 5 but the truth is I got a 2. Was it Worth it? or just wasted my whole year study for this exam and got this f***ing score...and I will not take this class again! I dont even got a college credit and my college will look at this score and see how I failed miserablely and probably affect my chances to get in right?

1. How did you deal with these scores on your AP Exam, does College take consideration of the failures you made in high school?!!!!

2. and I bet its not a big deal right, because my bro goes to Cal State (im trying to get into like UC especially UCLA or USC) he said you could take this class in college (I guess as for basic right? Freshman year)

3. College Cares about more on SAT 1 scores right? and GPA's????

Please Help Answers would be appericated...

What percentages correspond with AP exam scores?

It's different every year, because there's a curve they make with cut-offs.

It depends what test you're taking too.
The scoring involves a system of formulas, but 'passing' for AP tests is a 3.

However most colleges want top marks for AP test credit, so 4's and 5's are more favourable (5 being the highest).

Usually 'passing' varies among tests, and it is based on a distribution of scores of everyone who has taken it.
You should try to get as many right as possible; but in some cases getting a 40% means you're passing.
Usually higher than the 'C' range is '5' or the highest mark.
But, it's based of an entirely different scoring technique, so its not like you get a C on it. Different factors are multiplied to your scores which then get added and lots of other determining factors as well.

It all just depends.
But as a broad generalisation which I have found in taking AP classes is that you can generally get a 5 if you get at least 75% on a multiple choice portion (with points taken out), and do decent on any writing assessments.
I got a 5 on AP European, and I didn't get to the last few questions - so yes, it is possible to get a 5 if you leave some blank too, but usually around 10 and no more, says my AP US teacher, because you don't lose points for leaving spaces blank.
But you will lost .25 for everyone marked with an incorrect answer, so be apprised.

Help! I received my AP test scores and I'm...ashamed and disappointed. Should I...?

Honestly, colleges really don't care about your AP test scores unless you scored high enough to get college credit. They don't even care if you scored bad. Seeing as nearly all colleges (including a lot of Ivy League) give you credit for a 3, you shouldn't be stressing over it nor retaking any of these tests.

Why are you so worried about what other people think of your scores? Unless they are freaks they really won't care about what you have. They probably won't even remember what you told them after a few minutes. Even if they make a big deal out of it, why should you care? Let the person who normally scores lower than you have their 15 minutes of fame if they're sad enough to go around and say, "I scored better than so-and-so!" Besides, haven't you ever dealt with people gossiping about you before? I've had a lot of false gossip WAY worse than something as trivial as a test score going around about me, but it all fades with time and doesn't matter in the long run.

The root of your problem is that your life revolves around doing well on tests. Tests are important, don't get me wrong. But if that's all that you're living for - what's the point? In the long run, it won't matter who scored better than who as long as you've got grades good enough to get into the college you want. There are more important things in life than trumping the other person in test scores.

How many AP tests did you take during high school, and what were your scores?

Total of 9 tests. These are a little fuzzy.European History: 3 or 4?Chemistry: 3Physics: 3U.S. History: 4…? Yes.Calculus AB: 4?U.S. Government: 5English Language: 5English Literature: 5My crowning achievement - AP Econ: 1The story behind my AP Econ class is fraught with frustration and anger and a general sense of exasperation from all of my high school classmates. We banded together and made a pact to all get 1s (it wasn’t hard - we all learned nothing in that class, taught by an immature, disrespectful man whose concept of teaching was playing episodes of Seinfeld and The Office all class period). By senior year, motivation was low all around. One of my girl friends scored a 2 and everyone was outraged. How dare she!Ultimately, they were a waste of money and time, and I wish the whole system was done away with. It’s just another way to bloat your college applications, and they didn’t amount to much in terms of giving me course credits at Amherst. There is, however, an unfortunate sense of urgency that compels students to enroll in AP courses to “stand out” on their college applications. I believe I would have been much better served taking the Honors equivalents, without the stress of having to prepare (that is, cram and memorize everything) for the AP tests. If you’re stressing about AP tests in the coming weeks, try not to freak out. As you can see, my smattering of sub-par scores didn’t affect my future much. That’s true for most everyone.
