This one dude texted me with "hi (girls name)" then i replied "wrong number man im a dude". Then he kept going on and on about how she gave him the wrong number and how bored he is. He wouldnt leave me alone dammit. I had to cuss him out to stop texting me!

no it isn't any phishing someone on the site of PayPal just misspelled his / her phone no. so you need not worry and just delete that message and never ever reply to such messages
Why do I keep getting random text messages?
I got a new phone, contract and number just under 2 months ago. Since then I have been getting random text messages from numbers and people I do not know, and this has never happened to me before on any other phone or number. For example, early yesterday morning I got "Would u be or do u know anyone that wants wine fags or ghd straighteners for cheap prices.phone me kev johnstone.by the way long time no see". I have never heard of anyone called Kev Johnstone! Then this afternoon I got "Hi its ross s dad. Could you ask him to give me a call, thanks. Hope you are all enjoying youselves" Yet again, I don't have any friends called Ross! Other ones I have got in the past have been from a school using text message reminders, asking a parent to return a letter. Another one I got was from a BMW car dealer in Edinburgh, reminding someone they had a meeting there. They are all completely different numbers, and it's becoming confusing as to why I keep getting these messages! Does anyone have any idea why? Surely it's no coincidence that all these people have the wrong number, and that it happens to be mine...
What is the most random text you've ever gotten from a stranger?
The most random probably happened when I was 26. I was working at a hotel at the time and as I was starting my shift, I got the following text.Hey, is it alright if Brad borrows your tank top? He and Richard are in town and they are thinking of going to the beach.First off, I am a guy so why would I have a tank top. Infact, why would any guy need a tank top?Secondly, I am nowhere near a beach. I live in Idaho and the closest thing we have to beaches is next to lakes and the sides of the Snake and Salmon Rivers.Thirdly, I didnt know any gay couples at the time.Lastly, I don't know any Brads. But, I decided to have some fun with them.No, I need my tanktop. Also, you know Brad is really bad about returning stuff. He still has my dishes from Thanksgiving.To make it even more hilarious, comes to find out:I know he's bad about returning stuff! And he told me you didn't want the dishes back.Now, I had just been joking. But now I was super intrigued. So….Brad really did steal some dishes. And he was lying about it!Oh, is that what he said? But in essence, this is how it played out.To this day, I'm wondering if Grandpa allowed Grandma to allow her gay grandson to borrow her tanktop. Did Grandma ever call back? Did a relationship crumble because Brad didn't get to be sexy over the week? And did Brad ever return those dishes?

And now The Best Answer. I.e. the right one. :) Male addresses female: "I so wanted to come to you today, but you were busy with yours (unclear/omitted - guy or stuff). So I got upset and went home. Although I love you". Online translators will not work cause the text is not in Cyrillic.

So I got a random text on messenger from a guy in Palestine. He says, his brother is a cancer patient. He is asking me for help, but I don't have enough to help him out. I'm just a student. Is there anything I can do for him?
Sounds like a scam and that you have been targeted because they have reason to suspect that you are likely to give money for sob stories like this. The scammer takes advantage of your natural tendency to feel sympathy for victims, in this case a cancer victim. Ask yourself, why would I get a random text about a person I don’t know, from a person I do not know. You don’t have to help every person who texts you. How do you even know for sure the person is who they say they are? There is only one way to avoid getting caught in a scam like this, block the person and do not respond to any call or text. If you want to help a cancer victim, do it through a legitimate charity. Don’t let this scammer ruin your life.
