Hospital Circumcision - Now over a year - Will this get better?
My son was circumcised in the hospital by my locally well-known obgyn when he was born over a year ago. He was 2.5 weeks early born at 7lbs. After the circ. his penis became buried or hidden. His pedi is saying this is common and it is in a fat pad which he does have now but it didn't become "hidden" until after the circumcision when he was skinny and no fat pad although after the birth his testicles were swollen. They keep saying he has to lose the fat pad and his pedi is confident that it will most likely resolve itself. Is this common and does it resolve itself or is the dr. just trying to not get involved in something another dr. did? Was too much removed? It sometimes comes out at a diaper change but most of the time it is like an inney belly button. If anyone has any info on this, please let me know as there is not much out there on this topic. Thanks.
