I Got Into A New Company But I Am Not Used To New Environment As Inner Person I Don

What is a person who designs houses, but does not build then, called?

Architects do not build homes, though there are a few who design and build. For the most part architects stay on the design side. Contractors, framers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, and a dozen other trades all build homes.

Architects go through a rigorous 4-year program to get their certification. Some states (such as Nevada) require that a home be designed only by a licensed architect. Most other states allow anyone to design a house within certain restrictions (size, height, complexity). Folks who do this professionally are called home designers, house designers, residential designers, etc.

Designers may have started in an architect program, on a job site, or as a CAD monkey in a design shop. Higher schooling is a technicality. As long as you know how to use AutoCAD (industry standard) and you understand how homes are put together, you can find a job drafting someone else's designs. Get good at this and soon you could be your own lead designer.

Depending on region, architects can make between $40k and $100k per year. Designers can make about the same range, though generally a little less. Check salary.com for figures normalized for your zip code. Architects work on a few projects at a time and charge a substantial sum of money. Designers generally have many smaller projects, sell stock plans, or a combination of the two.

Why do American liberals seem to have such contempt for white working class people?

Because they're an easy target.

You can't be accused of racism for targeting poor whites. there are plenty of cultural stereotypes out there already....they are an accepted figure of fun in American popular culture. Beginning with Archie Bunker, then Tim the Tool Man, Family Guy, The Simpsons....

Probably this stems from the whole BS of the"Nothing succeeds like success" mentality promoted ad infinitum by the corporates and the advertising industry. If you don't have enough dosh to consume for the sake of consumption you are not only a figure of derision...but who gives a sweet fark if you're offended?

I mean...it's not like they were anyone's ideal target market is it???

What would happen if people on minimum wage were to gather together and boycott advertisers and corporations who make sport of them?? The poor ba$rards can't afford to buy groceries for the week let alone fly to the West coast for the weekend,, they don't drink Crystal champagne or dress their kids in Baby Gap.They're not booking holidays in The Hamptons or deciding which Broadway shows they might like to see this year.

They're simply working their malnourished ar$es off in essential services like garbage collection and sewerage maintenance. they're only building the roads the rich drive their limos on, cleaning the floors in the luxury malls they buy their mistresses diamonds from, washing the windows in the Penthouses the superior ar$eholes use to look down upon them from.

And I am sure they often take umbrage at the cheap jokes made at their expense. But taking a day...or even an hour off to stage a street protest about the issue would mean one less meal that week for their kids.

So they are silent in the face of their subjugation...and so it goes on.

What should introverts do to survive in their work environment?

This is a tricky situation, indeed. There are three points to consider:So you’re an introvert and you accept it. This is great! Actually, about a third of our population is introverted, and there’s no point why we should all be extroverts or ambiverts. In the west - especially in the workplaces - there’s a clear bias for favoring extroversion. In many cultures (e.g. Asia), introversion is valued much higher. I must repeat - it is great you know and value who you are!Maybe you don’t realize it, but other people at your work may feel rejected because you’re not participating more. They may think they’re organizing nice get-togethers and feel offended since you don’t want to join: “Is our company not good enough for him?” I know that’s not the message you want to send, but this is how they may feel about it. You have this great answer that is helpful and it will be even more helpful if you finetune it: “I understand you may be wondering why I’m not participating more. But I do not mean to offend you - you are great people. It is just that I’m most comfortable when I keep to myself. That’s how I am. I hope you understand. I mean no harm.”With this kind of a comment, you show that you understand, appreciate and value your colleagues’ emotions.I would also recommend that you consider joining social events every now and then - even if just for a little while - as a part of your job. You don’t have to like it, but part of your job is to contribute to the working climate. So go ahead and show up, ask a few people how they are doing, and then leave after a while.Wish you all the best!

Anyone heard of negative ion clothing?

My mom has been going all out and purchasing tens ps thousands of dollars on negative ion clothing. I've tried many of the nefful products but am not seeing or feeling any difference. When I ask mom about how these negative ion clothing works, she doesnt know how to explain. I'm assuming that these products negative ions as in anion and not physics. How do these clothing work? Is it true that pollution/environmental toxins are positively charged?

Anyone with Gemini Moon?

I said something about "the curse of Gemini" if there was such a thing about last week...weird. I had have and still have quite a few people in my life with Gemini Moon and you are right as it is not a day at the beach. I find the "never knowing" of good mood/bad mood causes anxiety for me as I don't like to have to wonder what mood someone will be in as there is usually this "general range of genuine behavior" but with Gemini there isn't ever a guarantee of that. The highs and lows are huge. Though what you get is always a mystery! Gemini will always keep you guessing.

So no I don't believe you are cursed I just believe that you DO have a difficult moon sign as our emotions usually control us even though we would like to think that we can keep our emotions under control. There is no way you can control your mood changes as they are unpredictable. Highly unpredictable. And that gets old quick I imagine. When it's good it's good and when it's bad it's terrible. And your Aries Sun is one strong Sun Sign filled with desire and not afraid to battle. I feel that if you can learn to only choose worthy battles to fight (Aries) this will really help your Gemini Moon de-stress as Gemini is not really a fighter.....though they can be, it's just they are Air Signs and Air Signs are usually intellectuals that require exchanges of ideas. Good conversationalists. These are often our Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius).

My advice is to avoid fighting worthless battles and only focus on ones worth fighting for and this should transform your life. Then that quick thinking Gemini Moon can focus on the battle at hand, Not having to "juggle" battles should be a great stress relief for your overworked Gemini Moon.

So hope this is helpful and good luck and bless you too.

Will you be kicked out in Starbucks if you do not buy anything and sit there all day?

Edit 2: my original answer no longer holds true. The Third Place Policy has been updated, for those who don’t know, to permit anyone to use our cafes and restrooms, so long as the space is respected, and used as intended. I appreciate the humane way this treats all of our potential customers, but I also work at a very suburban, relatively wealthy drive-thru store. It is easy for me to be even more laissez-faire about restrooms. The horror stories told about inner-city store restrooms, and the new challenges those stores will face with this policy don’t impact me. It’s embarrassing that this is an issue at all, but I am glad that the company I work for made a firm step in the right direction.Edit: my answer still holds true. Our philosophy is to be a welcoming space, and to give the benefit of the doubt in as many situations as possible. Actions by individuals counter to that are the exception to the rule, and repugnant. It depends. If you're in an inner-city store with a high amount of foot traffic and tough competition for chairs and tables, you would be politely but sternly asked to either buy something or leave. They have signs specifically stating that seating is for paying Starbucks patrons only. Starbucks is not public property, but a business. In more suburban stores, or those with more drive-thru traffic than inside traffic, you might get away with it for a while. We try to be accommodating, and some people like to set up their computer and settle in before ordering, so we give you the benefit of the doubt. But I guarantee you that if you attempt to ignore our greetings and just take a table, or put on headphones and put up digital walls, we are aware of it. We may tap your shoulder or the table lightly and indicate we may have missed your order, but we didn't. We know you didn't order anything.Bear in mind you avoid the whole issue if you buy even a small coffee. Which, with the tax in my state, is less than two dollars.
