Why do I always have mermaid dreams?
I found this theory, hope it helps. Mermaid Dream Meaning Psychological Meaning: The mermaid symbolises the Anima- the female aspect of the male psyche. As part woman, part fish, she embodies the mystery that haunts the male psyche. She is the bringer of secret wisdom from the depths of the unconscious-represented by the sea. She is also the seductive siren who may lure the active male energies of the conscious mind into the uncharted depths of the unconscious. A man who dreams of a mermaid may have fears of being ‘drowned’ by the feminine or by the unconscious. In a woman’s dream, a mermaid might express doubts about her femininity. In some dreams, a mermaid can represent a fear of sex. Mystical Meaning: Mythology has many figures that are part human, part animal. The upper half represents the conscious ego but the lower fish half is still primitive, irrational and in need of conscious attention. (A similar comparison can be made with the centaur or Pan) These mystical symbols were invented to show how the animal and human nature are inseparable.
I would honestly love to be the most feared creature that is some kind of monsteruss cannibal mermaid, the only survivor of her species.. Who eats basiccly anything that is in her area mermaids,humans... Living in the deepest part of the ocean.I wouldn't be pretty quite the opposite I would have that look when you see me, you would want to put bleach on your eyes and die.But mysterious and no one would ever find out what kind of creature devoured so many beings.Basiccly its good that I would be the only survivor of my kind because who would want more mermaids like that. Plus the lone wolf sort of lifestyle suits me just fine.
How do I dream that im a mermaid?
I'm very glad you asked this question. IT makes me feel useful for once because I am an expert on Mermaids and Channing-Moss-ology. Step One: Watch the Little Mermaid Step Two: Eat lots of seafood and kelp, and drink algae water. Step Three: Go to your local arcade and rack up enough tickets to receive a mermaid statue. You may buy the statue at the Dollar General, but only a true mermaid works for her rewards. Step Four: Take a bath and as you bathe, scream at the top of your lungs, "I'M A MERMAID, I'M A MERMAID!" and repeat that over the course of twenty minutes with five second intervals. Step Five: Before you fall asleep in your bed, clutch a trident and a starfish close to you and scream as if possessed, "ARIEL! I'M COMING FOR YOU! KING TRIDENT MAKE ME A MERMAID! BOOGAH-BOOGAH-BOOGAH-BOO!" and hold the last syllable until you pass out from oxygen deprivation. (This final step is very healthy for you as it shakes the cholesterol out of your arteries.) If you do not dream you are a mermaid, relax my friend, and repeat each step for a week while putting all of your dedication, soul, and heart into it. I hope this aids you. If not, you're doomed. Good luck!
I had a dream about a mermaid?
A few months ago I had this crazy dream about having sex with a mermaid. Ever since then I have been debating about asking my girlfriend to put on a mermaid costume and we go at it. She is one of those types that is really not into freaky things. Should I ask her this, and if so, how? I really dont want to freak her out.
What does it mean when you dream you are a mermaid?
Well, I just started to get interested in knowing what my dreams mean because they've really been weird. I had THIS dream like months ago but somehow I still remember some of it. Well first off I was a mermaid and I had this best friend I don't remember her name...but when I woke up I could still remember it, but not sense It's been months I don't. Soo anyway...this girl had my back..she stood up for me. I was a mermaid and I had a tail and legs... she would help me escape when these people would be after me trying to cut off my tail thats all I really remember.....what could this mean?
Creepy mermaid dream, please help?
Dreams: Strange re-enactments of subconscious memory related to our daily lives and repressed memories relived. It is a defence mechanism of ours to predict and hypothesise scenarios. We also fantasize or day-dream scenarios. If you've ever experienced realities while in lower levels of consciousness/sleep which are inescapable situations/nightmares. (Realities are different than dreams, even life it's self in the waking state is reality) These are malevolent beings. There is also the incubus and succubus of which I have never encountered, these are thought to be sexual demons. Then there is sleep paralysis. You dream you have to wake up from the nightmare, but actually dreamed you woke up to awaken in the same nightmare from which you had to awaken from again. Spiritualists believe we can awaken further from our awakened state, because when we are awake we are just in an extension of the dream state. (But of course this takes much conscious effort, look within and not outwardly) Sayings from a Sage, the Bible and a Mystic. He who is forgetful of the Self, mistaking the physical body for it, and goes through innumerable births, is like one who wanders all over the world in a dream. Thus, realizing the Self would only be like waking up from the dreamwanderings. Sri Ramana Maharshi (December 30, 1879 – April 14, 1950) Ps. 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. There is reference to suggest we the children once knew God. First Epistle, John 2: 13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. Ephesians chapter 5. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. What does it mean when I dream of being a mermaid?
Ok, well I watch the show H20 and am in love with it. I sometimes think about wanting to become a mermaid and what it would be like. I have looked up spells but havent tried any. Here is the thing. Sometimes when I dont even think about mermaids that day I end up having a dream that night that I am one swimming in the ocean with other mermaids and trying to hide my secret from everyone when I didnt watch H20 or even think about mermaids that day. I didnt even think of the word mermaid. What do my dreams mean? Are they trying to tell me something? If so what do u think they are trying to tell me? BTW im 13. No rude comments please. Thank You. : )
Help? Am I a mermaid?
Like others have mentioned, it's usually pretty simple. It's a combination of things that have happened during the day prior to sleep and may interact with some past experiences. Also, as an example, your body does tell you things when you dream. I know I'm dehydrated when I dream of drinking water yet remain thirsty. I know I'm uncomfortably warm when I dream of jumping into cold water. I know that I'm hungry when I dream about eating a feast. These basic needs crawl into our dreams. We can symbolize them to no end, but most dreams are pretty basically founded. Some dreams do have some significance, but it really is sort of a mishmash of short term experience and long term memory. In many dreams, I find myself running around hiding from people and doing clever things. Does that mean I'm a spy? lol. If you believe in past lives or connection to the "other side", I suppose you could say yes, in the sense that I have ancestors that were spies in the civil war. I just chalk that up to coincidence, though.

I keep having strange dreams am i a mermaid?
unless you've actually stuck yourself in water for a long time and not drowned, i'm pretty sure you're just fantasizing. here's something helpful though, fall asleep in the tub, make sure you don't slip under first, and after you've pruned(or should've pruned) check your legs. most legends say that even halflings' legs start to change when in water for a long period of time. if you live near a large body of water, it'll be best to bring the water from there(a load of trouble, i know) and if you don't, just put natural sea salt in the water before you try freshwater. unprocessed water is also preferred.
