How to apologize for a mistake made in an email attachment?
My company workers database had been requested by one of the officials, I sent an email earlier, in the attachment i sent, I've added one wrong name, he doesn't work in our company. I already told them that on a call, I need to resend the correct attachment,while sending the correct database, I need to apologize about the previous attachment in the mail body, please help me on writing that. Dear.... .......??? ...........??

Mail Package Delivered To Me By Mistake - What To Do?
Package arrives in my postal box. I opened it not realizing it wasn't addressed to me. I had no reason to think the package wasn't mine when I opened it. The address is similar to mine, but not the same. Since I opened it, I can't just tape it up and drop it off in the mail box. Two things I am not going to do: 1) spend my money reshipping it and, 2) personally delivering it. If found online the worth of the contents is about $24. The package was sent USPS with tracking. When I went to the USPS website, it shows the packaged delivered. Of course it does since it was delivered to me in error. The package was an eBay item, so the seller has confirmation that delivery was made, although not to the correct address which they would not know. The buyer will claim they didn't receive the merchandise, since they didn't. I'm not going to get too involved in a mistake that the post office made, although I do empathize with both the seller and the buyer. The seller left no packing slip to identify themselves, so I can't contact them and likewise there was nothing to signify who the buyer was (by their eBay ID). What do you suggest I do that won't take up my time in figuring all this out?
A user says I have not replied to his previous mail though I did. How can I email him that I did respond, while remaining polite?
I would forward the email you sent previously with a short note saying you are sorry about the transmission error and that here is another copy. I would follow up later that day or the next day to make sure he received the second copy.

I'm emailing my colleges to update them on my record. I've applied to a lot of schools, so I have had to email a lot of admissions counsellors, and have been in the process of doing this for days. But here's the problem: Since it's a pretty generic letter (includes the same information for each college), I've essentially been sending the same email to all of my colleges with a few edits. I sent an email to my top choice college the other day and changed everything that needed to be changed except for the salutation. I was emailing a male admissions counsellor, but the last admissions counsellor I had emailed was female, so it went out addressed to a "Miss Miller." I realized my mistake after Gmail's window to undo sending it closed, then rushed to send out an updated email. What do you think will happen? Will this kill my chances? Thanks for your help!

You will get a call if found above the cut off percentage/ criteria finalised by the authorities. Minor error in address I.e. no block no and locality would may cause problem in delivering SSB call letter by postman rather than to Naval authorities . Any way ,in your case first you will be facing interview in campus prior to SSB so you can correct your postal address at that stage. Previous SSB details can also be corrected then only as no correction is permitted post submission of online form.
