If I get a restraining order on my unborn baby's father how will it affect the baby?
I'm in the same situation as you. I kept catching my ex driving by my house and sitting in my driveway, etc. Just to creep me out, and it worked. I felt unsafe in my home, and applied for a restraining order, AND moved to an undisclosed location. I changed my cell phone number, and blocked his phone number from my work phone. It got really ugly, and he was just a creep. He was nothing more than a liar, and I found out he got kicked out of the military, and had been living off of credit cards for more than 3 years. told me he had a job, and didnt, told me he was a certain age, and he was older than stated... you name it, it was a lie. I went in front of a judge and explained to him personally my concerns with letting him around our unborn son, and he INSTANTLY put me into protective custody and got me away from the situation. I am now getting married next week to my boyfriend and I CANT WAIT for my last name to change so a more common name so I am less easy to be found. He doesnt deserve to be in his sons life as the main reason for us breaking up was drug related. He stole stuff from my home, money from my car, etc. He has ZERO visitation rights to our son, and the state took custody from him. In my state, my boyfriend is eligible to adopt him as his own son and change his name after our marriage. Seeing as my fiance has been there 100 percent of the time and is a completely loving father, this is the route we are going to take. If I were you, I wouldnt put him on the birth cetificate. Yes, you wont receive child support, but is money REALLY worth someone unfit being around your child? I would let your current boyfriend be a male role model if you see a life with him, and forget the drama of the ex!
Can my parents put a restraining order on my boyfriend?
My boyfriend and I have been dating on and off for nearly two years, and have recently started having sex (as in the past 6 months). However, my dad found out back in July '13 and threatened to put a restraining order on him if we were to speak again. Naturally, we completely ignored him and went on dating behind my parents' backs anyways. His parents knew about us being together as of last month, and my parents found out today through a text message i sent to my friend about us having sex. Being my dad's only product of two marriages, i understand why he's being protective, but i think it's dumb to take away one of the most supportive and caring people in my life just because of sex. We've always been careful and used protection. Anyways, my dad threatened yet again to put a restraining order on him and sue him, but i'm not sure for what. The only one i could think of would be statutory rape, i'm 17 as of november and he is 19 as of november, but according to Ohio laws i am of age of consent. He's a great guy, he's never hurt me or done me wrong. Sure, we've had our fair share of arguments, but every couple does. He's going back to college, Miami of Ohio, this friday. Help?
I always have unprotected sex, but never get pregnant, does this mean I am likely infertile?
I have been married for 7 months and we never use protection. I am not on birth control and never have been. Before I got married, with my ex boyfriend I had unprotected sex for about 8 months and never got pregnant. I am 27 and have never been pregnant, however my ex and my husband are the only ones I have had unprotected sex with in my entire life,. We arent really trying, but wouldnt mind if I was to become pregnant. I know that we are not missing the days I ovulate because we have sex just about every day. Same with my ex. I know nobody but a doctor can tell you for sure, but does thing sound unsettling to you? I think I am infertile because dont women who are fertile get pregnant within six months of having unprotected sex? Thank you for taking the time to read my question.
Can I renew my restraining order?
I had a restraining order against an ex-boyfriend. He went kind of crazy when we broke up...threatening to kill himself, threatening to hurt any new boyfriends I had, and telling me that if we didn't have sex before I ended it, he'd kill himself when he got home. The order lasted 2 years and the end date was this past July. Just a few days ago, he messaged me on facebook and said how he wanted us to talk and become friends again. I told him no. He then asked again...I said no...and he called me a b****. What can I do to get the restraining order renewed? Does he have to be doing more serious things than that to make a judge renew it?
