What happens if I overstay with a student visa in Spain?

I am a us citizen, currently studying in Spain with a student visa.
My visa expires on July 6, but I want to stay a little longer to travel around Spain.
Untill like mid August.
Are there any short/long term consequences?
Or any permits I can solicit?
Thank you

Can a student visa holder that overstayed in the UK and went home without any exit stamp from any UK airport apply for working permit?

I can only quote the rules.First you should know the UK does not have exit stamps. Departures are tracked electronically from airports, sea ports, and international rail stations.Second, the penalty for overstaying depends on when the overstay began as the rules changed. There is a mandatory 1 year ban when those who overstay left voluntarily at their own expense when their overstay of lawful leave was by more than:o 90 days, excluding any exceptional periods, where the overstaying began up to and including the 5 April 2017o 30 days, excluding any exceptional periods, where the overstaying began on or after 6 April 2017This is from the current guidance found here, which you should read: https://www.gov.uk/government/up...Next, you should bear in mind the first point if the application asks if you have ever overstayed. Just because you don’t have a stamp doesn’t mean they don’t know and if you say “no” and they know the answer should be “yes”, then that is deception. Deception is the biggest no-no in immigration matters.Only you know the facts and should act accordingly. If you have questions you should contact a certified immigration consultant.

Overstaying in Malaysia for 1 day?

Here's your solution

1. Buy a ticket ( either flight of ferry ) to any destination in Indonesia

2. Take that ticket together with your passport to the immigration. You'll be fined RM30 for everyday you overstay and then you'll be allowed to leave Malaysia without any problem

3. Upon paying the fine and your passport endorsed accordingly by the immigration, leave for Indonesia.

4. Stay in Indonesia for a day or two and then return to Malaysia. You'll be issued with a new social visit pass.

An overstay is an overstay. It doesn't matter whether it's 1 day or 1 month or 1 year. Once caught you'll be sent to the detention centre for illegals.

At the moment, if you want to obtain a valid social pass, going to Indonesia and then return to Malaysia is the only option. Going to Indonesia is really inexpensive these days. Perhaps you could choose to go to Padang, Medan, Palembang as these places are nearer to Malaysia and thus cheaper. You may also take ferry from Port Klang or Melaka to destination in Indonesia ( ferry fare for a two way trip cost not more than RM250.00 ). Don't worry, you'll be given your social visit pass accordingly upon you return from Indonesia to Malaysia.

What are the repercussions of overstaying a visa in the UK?

Overstays of 28 days or less are usually disregarded by the Home Office. The problem you are likely to have is that if you overstay more than 28 days and then later apply for a visa (of any kind) your are more likely to be rejected as they see you have overstayed.  You may also face a 10 year ban from the UK.There have been some, very exceptional, cases in which the Home Office grants DLR - discretionary leave to remain but you'll have to have a very good case for that, i.e. illness, pregnancy, etc.I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not giving immigration advice, but I have heard far too many stories like your that end badly. Also, your idea of apply for asylum is a very bad one.  Generally one needs to apply for asylum at the point they arrive in the UK.

Will Canada deny my visa because of an overstay?

The chances are low, as when you were in Canada without a visa, is a really negative thing for them. You should have left the country immediately after the refusal. It has nothing in regard to stayed there just because you have paid the whole months rent. If you are applying again, you have to say yes as you have overstayed in the country previously. Even if you don't write this, they will find it through your Passport Number. Overstaying in any country is an offence, regardless of any proof or anything to talk about the same. So chances of visa grant again is really low.   Canadian Visa, Immigration Information and Free Assessment

From India, refused UK student visa twice, chances for Canada?

Hey guys, I'll try and be very concise here. I went to the UK in 2002 with family who kept on applying & getting refused from UK Embassy in 2-3 applications made within UK. During the course of time, I was studying and started pursuing a medical degree (MBBS) in UK in 2005. The university accepted me as a home student since I was studying there for three years. Family came back to India in 2006, and me getting fed up with my situation there (no rights, probability of detention) came back in 2008, hoping I would be granted a student visa.

Applied 1st in Aug 2008 and they refused on the basis of "inadequate funds", then in Jan 2009 they termed my overstaying and some weirdly minor application that I couldn't recollect at all on the form as the reason for refusal and they have barred future applications till 2018 + accusing me of fraud against my uni for paying Home fees for 3 years when I had no business to.

Now, my family is keen I should give Canada a try. I am fine either ways - studying in India or abroad. I want to know how much does my UK history affect my Canadian application. Will downplaying the situation help? Obviously to enter the Canadian medical education system, I would need to do a BSc first, but is this possible now-as in does the UK immigration history have the potential to really make the whole process of applying unnecessary?

Am really desperate, really keen to do medicine and would love to hear some opinions, as to how I should proceed.

How long will it take if I apply again to come to New Zealand if I overstayed before?

If you have to be deported you have an automatic 5 year ban before you can apply for a visa again. If you overstay that will depend on how long you overstayed and for what reason. If your a tourist and you overstay because of the confusion and delays in evacuating tourists out of the area after an earthquake, or if ash from a volcanic eruption grounded airliners etc. These events have actually happened and the government have always ensured that no tourists are in anyway penalised because they overstayed their visa in such circumstances.
