Do you hate food?

When I was born I apparently didn't have the instinct to suckle. I had to be fed like a baby bird with a medicine dropper. As a child through to about college I was extremely picky and really didn't like the idea of eating at all. I mean you put food in and stinky comes out. Gross! I ate the bare minimum and spent many long nights sitting at the kitchen table until finally I received a reprieve from eating all my food. I didn't get hungry. I wasn't anorexic and this wasn't about weight, it was about food itself. The fact that food is energy completely missed me. In college I would go to eat with my friends for social time. I would social eat and actually looked forward to the break from my studies. Having a vast assortment of foods handy I learned that salads aren't that bad, cookies are good and pizza is delicious. But it was really not until I met my husband and he cooked for me and loved food that I began to eat normally and learned to love the things he loved. Now, I am struggling with my weight. I stress eat. I am still not fat but I can feel every pound. I have cut back considerably and am learning to regulate what. When and how I eat. I no longer hate food but use it as a tool to help my body be healthy.

Help me, I HATE healthy foods, but I need to eat more healthy! HELP?!?

Instead of just eating a plate of veggies you do need to make the vegetable part of your meal. Spinach is a great thing to add to spaghetti sauce and it's tasty too.

I add extra onions, carrots, and celery to soup.

Remember that a serving of veggies does not mean that it needs to be straight veggies. A half cup of spaghetti sauce is a serving of veggies. Any soup with a decent amount of veggies contains a full serving of veggies. A homemade chicken fajita will have peppers and onions equal to one serving of veggies.

One last thing to remember is that your tastes change as you age. Just because you hated a vegetable last week does not mean you will hate it forever. Also, you may hate a vegetable fixed one way, but might love it served another way. For example I hate boiled asparagus, but I absolutely LOVE asparagus roasted with olive oil salt and garlic.

I hate all condiments on my food?

I can never have any condiments or added stuff onto my food. I hate mayo, mustard, and most other stuff. I'll eat ketchup, but hardly ever, and only on fries. I don't know why, but I'm just disgusted by condiments and I think plain food tastes better. I know, I'm so weird.

I Hate Food stamps!!!! What is your opinion?

I really think you should mind your own business, sweetheart. If it bothers you that much, then go work somewhere else.

I have no opinion on food stamps either way. I do, however, have a big problem waging war on countries that did absolutely nothing to us and a military budget that exceeds more than Medicare, SS and education combined and is not accountable to anyone at all. THAT'S what I have a problem with, not food stamps.

Help with healthy foods. I hate the taste of almost everything...?

I would like to loose maybe 10 pounds in 3 weeks. I told my friend id go on a diet with her. Im happy with the way i look and feel, but i want to be supportive for her. To tell the truth at the moment my diet sucks. Im healthy enough, but i hate the taste of so many foods im not sure how to change it. Im willing to eat some stuff i hate but i would like at least a few things that taste good. I dont like the majority of veggies other than raw carrots and corn, but im willing to eat greenbeans and tomaotos and some mixed veggies. I dont like most meat, i like chicken leg( without breading or skin)and breast(hate chicken breast without ranch). I like scrambled eggs, and skim milk. I also like hot dogs sausage(not very healthy so im leaving these out) I also really dont like peanuts or any other type of nut.(which makes it hard to find snack food thats good for me) And i hate whole wheat crackers like triscuts they taste like dirt. I love fruits and i drink alot of v8 fusion light with the whole serving of fruits and veggies and i drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day. Is spaghetti bad for you of you use wheat noodles fresh tomaotes and bell pepper and onion? *sigh* Ive never gone on a diet before but i want to be supportive. I made my weight loss goal to match hers...please help?

Why do people hate food stamps?

People abuse the system, and milk it for all it's worth.
I see people come into my work ALL THE TIME dressed in new brand name clothes and buying things with Food Stamps.
People go on Section 8, and refuse to work, or take on more hours at work, or get a better job, because their benefits will be cut. That's so terrible!
People that abuse the system make it bad for the people that need it. And.... do you know that white people that need Food Stamps are denied them more and more often because they are white? How's that for racism? (and.. I'm part Spanish... and have black cousins... so I'm not in any way racist, I'm just pointing out facts). And, why are you bringing up Bush right now anyways... Obama will be inaugurated in January.
You say you dropped out of school when you were in 10th grade. You're 47 now... your complaining about having a baby what?.... over 20 years ago? So, between then, and now, you had no opportunity to go to an adult education class, and get your GED? I find that really hard to believe. But, whatever.... there is no time better than the present!... Try and get your GED now. You are not too old! Stop being such a downer, and DO SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR YOURSELF!
Once you have that, a whole new set of doors will be opened. You can take classes at a local community college. You can enroll in a certificate program (become a CNA, it's like a 6 week course, and you can make $10 an hour to start in a nursing home). You can do whatever you want. Just shut up about being so down and out... and do something that'll make you happy.
Don't sit around and wonder why.... that never got anyone anywhere.

I hate food, and eating, but i'm not anorexic?

Okay, the thing is, I REALLY hate food. While other's would be happy with a house full of food, I am not. It drives me insane, and it's tempting to get my hands into... I hate it and it really disgust's me.
My mother buy's food once a month, but when she buys it, she buy's A LOT! When the fridge is to full, the freezer is full, cabinets, shelves, ect.

Then I find myself eating... the act of eating disgusts me, and every time after I eat I feel guilty and depressed.

I'm a girl, overweight, 194 pounds, E sized chest, 4'11 1/2 and almost 20 years old (January 12th) ...

I really hate this, the food, the temptation... Food almost always wins and I want it to go away, the longest i've been able to keep away from food was around 16 hours... pathetic. I've tried starving myself, I've never been able to... It might have been easier if I lived by myself..but I currently can't right now.

If I was able to, I would go a week without food, like a week long fast... and just drink things...

What's wrong with me?
