I Hate Living In This Generation Ugh

I hate this generation?

When I was 10, YouTube just started getting popular, I had a simple mp3 that I bought with my own money, and I played outside with the neighborhood kids. BUT nowadays 10 year old kids have IPhones, MacBooks,ps3, unlimited texting, instagram, etc. They're not just spoiled, their attitudes are bad too! Privileged, vain, and ignorant smh. I actually KNOW kids like these and I'm ashamed.

Now, I understand that not all kids are like this. I usually "live , and let live" and keep my opinions to myself, but this is crazy. I hate being grouped into "this" generation ( I'm 16). Ugh.

Do you guys feel the same way?

Yup... I know what you mean. My entire family is like that too. But honestly, the social media is trying to make us feel alone. They want us to think that there is no else out there like us. But there are. You just have to look harder. I recently joined a (Catholic) youth group and was astonished how similar I was to the mentors at least. We're not alone, they just want us to think we are. But if we think that we'll lose hope. And that's something we can not afford to lose. Try to find people who are like you!! It makes you feel less hopeless :)

I hate my generation and I want to die.?

I think that a lot of walls are being overcome these days in the social boundaries aspect. Yes, people use technology a lot, and they didn't used to, but if given the opportunity maybe they would have. Just because things are changing doesn't mean that it's all bad, it's just progressing to a different future. In regards to the sex thing, sex is basically just a social construct and I think it's pretty cool that people are letting go of the fact that average reproduction is so disgusting and can't ever be talked about. Who said that sex had to be thought of as right or wrong and at what age it's okay to talk, look at, or think about sex. Sex is a pretty natural thing and talking about it shouldn't be feared or looked at as bad. Anyway's that's my opinion on it.

Assume that you inoculated potato salad with 10 bacterial cells and stored it at room temperature. After 3 hours, there are 640 cells. How many generations did the cells go through?

Can someone people explain to me, step by step, on how to solve this problem? I really don't understand how the correct answer is 6 generations. :( Thank you!

Is it normal to hate being in your generation?

As a millennial, I can honestly say I do not like being a part of this generation. Everywhere you look, praise for doing nothing, kids acting like they are entitled to respect... I can hardly stand most of the kids in my class. They all think "Swag" and "YOLO" and stupid stuff like that is going to get them far in life. And then you have the popular douchebags. The kids who walk around like they're the ****, and push people out of their way just because they have been taught by their stupid parents their entire life that they are "the best", and how nobody is as good as they are!? We should all be pushed to work harder, not taught that what we did was "Good enough" or "Close enough". I also hate people who think they are nerds just because they have "Nerd Glasses". Has anybody else noticed how disrespectful a lot of kids nowadays are? It's not like I excpect them to be holding open doors or anything,but atleast show respect to other kids and adults! Truthfully speaking, 75 percent of the kids in my class have few skills beyond using a phone. I mean, seriously, get off the damned thing and go so something productive, rather than just being a useless piece of ****! Sorry to rant, but I just got on Facebook, and saw kids posting stuff like " Just because you aint me don't hate me" and " Im better den all of u idoits" What are your thoughts on the "Mostly Assholes Generation"?

Why do I hate my generation so much?

Yeah, I'm 14 and live in America, and emberassed to be one. This generation is "Be a monkey, be a nerd, or be an outcast (emo/gothic/cult/otherwise.) It drives me crazy, if you don't act like you're an idiot, if you don't you're basically a 'nerd' why can't you be cool AND intelligent? I just don't see a problem with it... also, the dances and music *uh* just can you make yourself look more like a poser asshole? Seriously, about the only kids who listen to rap music anymore is small children. That's REAL "Gangsta" God, these people, oh and Justin Bieber, he's just like all the other 'Boy-Bands' before him ; The Naked Brothers Band, The Jonas Brothers, High School Musical, and Big Time Rush. No talent, and the only reason these pre-pubecent girls bother with them is because they're "hot"... now, back to the rap, most of it is just bass mixed with really really awful techno, and a black guy talking fast. Also, if I hear the song "Jerk" one more time, I'mma blow my ******' brains out. And by the way, I'm not racist, nor do I dislike rap, but I hate what greedy people have turned it into.
