I Hate The New Yahoo Mail Dashboard. It Could Not Be More Frustrating

How to change Yahoo Mail from German to English in Germany?

I am an American living in Germany. I've lived here 6 years with proper English settings in my Yahoo Mail, having set it up when I arrived. In upgrading to Windows 7, when I checked my Yahoo email, everything is in German and I can't figure out how to change it back into English. I have Googled this issue and have found several websites explaining what to do, but not only are the instructions in English (which is what I need), but so are what it tells you where to go on the Yahoo page, so that it will say something like "Go to Edit Settings." Well, since everything is in German, that is useless information to me since everything on my Yahoo Mail is in German.

I found one site that had a link where I had to sign in with my yahoo username and password that sent me to my language settings (https://edit.yahoo.com/mc2.0/set_intl?.scrumb=we.LBRJW6Na&.done=). I chose English and put my location once in Europe and it didn't work. Then I went back and changed it to English with my location in the U.S. Each time I saved the information. Now when I go to the main Yahoo page (My Yahoo), everything is in English. But when I choose Mail, or try to go to my Mail by any means (e.g., via a link on my computer) it has everything in German.

How can I get everything in my Yahoo EMAIL page to be in German (i.e., words like "New" "Reply" "Reply All" "Forward" and everything on the page?

Why am I getting posts on my Tumblr dashboard from people I don't follow and how do I remove them?

Lately I notice I'm getting quite gross posts from foot fetishes, a person with boils like the plague or something, random tattoos, semi-nudes and other things. Practically my entire dash is filled with blogs I don't follow and I would be fine if they had things from MY interests...

Any one going to drop yahoo email?

I'm having a TERRIBLE time with this new and "improved" Yahoo mail. EVERYTHING about it is screwed up. No tabs! The "Send" button is all the way down at the bottom (who the hell looks there?) and gets buried in the dashboard icons of my MacBook. I can't underline anymore. The font size doesn't give you anything but minimal choices - you can't adjust size. You can't adjust the color of the text anymore.
Then: If you get an email and reply, and then the person replies back, and you get a thread started, you get the whole damn thread in these thumbnails and they don't appear to be in order and it's impossible to find the reply to which you're trying to respond. There's no way to know which "Reply" command applies to which email on the thread. You have no idea which reply you're posting to. I've already lost business and wasted some money because I couldn't find a response our tour manager sent me about a move he didn't want to recommend, and I never saw it so I went ahead and okay'ed it. Now we're stuck. How much more is this going to cost me? How many more emails am I going to miss? There's no way to change the wording in the subject line anymore. There's no way to edit out extraneous crap in a long thread of email responses. It spits you out of that particular email entirely and you won't know where you are for a moment.
I could go on. But I'm just SO PISSED OFF!!! This simply and categorically SUCKS!!! And I don't even want to think about the hassle and expense and loss of time and productivity if I'm forced to change over to another email account. My yahoo.com email is on everything from business cards to press kits to umpteen different websites and accounts. HUGE pain in the ***!!!! And VERY bad for my business! Is anybody at Yahoo even listening? Or do they care?
You're 1,000,000% correct. The new email is HORRID. They can't change it back fast enough!!!!!! Heck, are they even willing to consider doing such?
GRRRRRR!!!!!
- A VERY angry Mary!!!

How do I send an anonymous email where the receiver can not trace my IP?

The best way is to use a anonymous mail service via the web interface/dashboard (not via mail client because sometimes the mail client add the ip to the header) and use a vpn

Is there a User Interface that you really hate?

My least favorite user interface is iTunes. Even as a weekly user I find myself making multiple attempts to achieve a single result. I tend to press buttons randomly, figuring one will work. And why I must install (and update!) this decrepit ware on my computer I still don't understand. I despise iTunes. The funny part is that when it comes to certain products -- products like the most highly trafficked music download site -- a crappy interface makes no difference.Must be nice to be Apple.
