I Hate Yahoo But Love Yahoo Answers Lol

Do you love or hate school holidays?

LOL, I'm a teacher, so I love them. Tomorrow is a workday for us though, and I have to admit, I'd kind of like the kids to be there with me long enough to watch the inauguration. We showed the kids Obama's acceptance speech and McCain's concession speech and talked about how important this election is regardless of political beliefs, and I feel like they gained a lot more from it than from the one-sided political beliefs their parents have. I would have liked the chance to watch it live with them, but I'm just going to tape it and show it to them the next day. So yeah, I usually love holidays b/c you're stuck with your own kids. :)

Why do people prefer Quora over Yahoo! Answers?

Oh boy, this is going to be fun.Q1: Why do we need water to survive?Quora: Our bodies are mostly made of water, so we need to continually replenish our water supply in order to survive.Yahoo! I love animals but hate humans?

Take a step back and look at humanity from a third person perspective. You will realize that humans are the only living thing that are purely a product of the devil. (If such a phenomena can be true.) We ruin everything. Plain and simple. If you hate humans because they are disgusting, that is a different story, but you would have to be naive to appreciate the human race.

My advice to you is to not have kids.

Why does the Yahoo Answer community despise the Quora community?

Given the number of grammar and spelling errors in that excerpt, I “litteraly” cannot imagine why these people wouldn't like Quora.I don't frequent Yahoo Answers — for the questions I have, it is not a suitable forum, since they don't have any mathematics rendering, so maths and physics questions get warped into awful inline expressions which melt your eyes to look at — so I can't tell you if this is a pervasive attitude on Yahoo. However, the excerpt you provide reads like one very butthurt individual who got burned by Quora moderation (and given their writing style, this surprises me not at all) , and is now just ranting on the internet. The people who believe that Quora Moderation are “though” police are invariably people who cannot put together a cogent argument without resorting to calling their detractors names. I (and others) have some issues with Quora — but calling moderation “thought police" is hilarious. It is basically advertising that you think calling people “wankers” is part of civilised discourse.I presume there are many people who do make great contributions to the Yahoo community — but my money is on this bloke not being one of them.In my opinion, Quora has several advantages over Yahoo Answers:More rigorous moderation90% of Yahoo Answers are useless, jokes, irrelevant, or Nazi propaganda. Quora “though police” cuts this down to a rather more manageable percentage.Real names and real expertsWe have some real experts here on Quora — from Robert Frost to Jimmy Wales, and we (more or less) interact as people rather than faceless facades.Better UIYahoo has very limited support for anything but plain text. Quora's MathJax enables many technical questions to be answered in a readable fashion.I can see that people preferring Quora to Yahoo might make several long-time contributors to Yahoo feel like their toes are being stepped on (especially when people like me talk about how much better Quora is!)But I wouldn't put too much stock in this one answer — it clearly has a negative personal slant, and probably isn't representative of the Yahoo community as a whole.

I'm falling in love with someone i hate?

"Hate" and "Love" are the two most powerful emotions any human can feel. The feeling you have is a very unique one; you hate him so much, that you find yourself falling for him. There's a part of him that you find distasteful, yet, you are capable of overlooking that aspect and love him, or you love him because of it.

This kind of relationship is highly unstable, but if you can accept it, it is the BEST feeling in the world. My tip for you: hold on that feeling, and follow your heart.

Do you hate tomatoes but love ketchup?

YES. I thought I was the only one! The tomatoes in ketchup must be extremely watered down, because ketchup tastes NOTHING like a tomato.

I'm in love whith someone i used to hate?

LOL. that's cute.
This guy used to make fun and embarass me alot in class when we were in high school, but then after a few months of me ignoring him, he finally stopped teasing me and all the mean stuff he wouldnt do to anybody but me. Then there was this weird and awkward moments when I would catch him staring at me.
And then he told me he likes me. At first I was like "what the....?" LOL....
and then he asked me out the next day. Awkward, huh? :)

LOVE IS LOVE.

If u want her to like you, stare at her from time to time. Show her you're interested. Smile at her a lot. Be kind and dont act like a douche! Help her out when she needs some help or whatever....
Do something nice.... get to know her better.
Then ask her out !
I hope the results turn out good :) good luck!

Why would a person use Yahoo mail over Gmail?

LOL!!!My apologies, but outside of familiarity, or keeping a long-standing address, there is no possible reason I can imagine to choose Yahoo over Gmail. Gmail is totally superior, in every measurable or comparable way.I know several people, clients and friends and relatives, who cannot (or more accurately, will not) learn or adapt to the Gmail paradigm. They adapted to Outlook or some other email client years ago, or they have used AOL or Yahoo for years - and they are simply not willing to change. And to be fair, it's important to realize that Gmail is fundamentally different. The brilliant folks who created it questioned every assumption, tossed out some things "everyone else" was doing, and did them in entirely new and better ways. If you learned the "Outlook way", or similar, Gmail does things that at first seem strange and incomprehensible. Most will deny it if confronted, but people strongly dislike change. In fact, I'm constantly amazed at how incredibly hard people will struggle to avoid change. And in Gmail's case, honestly, that's fine. Really! Gmail is a better way. Incomparably, immeasurably better. But it's not something that will significantly improve your life. It's like choosing to drive a beat up old car, when you could be driving a sexy new Ferrari. There's nothing wrong with driving a beater, especially if you love it. It still runs! You're familiar with it, been driving it forever. It will get you there.
