Shoulder pain while using crutches. Is it just sore muscles or more serious.?

I have been on crutches for three weeks. A few days ago I began having shoulder pain. It aches all the time and I have a sharp pain when I walk with the crutches. It hurts if I try to lift it above my head. I am worried I may have injured it. Any ideas of what it could be? Any suggestions of how to help it feel better. I am going to be on crutches for st least three more weeks.

How can I treat my fracture faster?

Two years ago I had a transverse fracture of my right humerus.A few days after open reduction and fixation surgery, a friend who is a Nikken distributor convinced me to try their Power Mini magnets over the fracture. Twelve mini magnets were attached to my skin under the ACE bandage wrapped around my arm.Within a week I no longer needed the wrapping and sling, resumed keyboarding and knitting, and began physical therapy. I kept the magnets over the fracture for another two weeks. At the initial evaluation the physical therapist estimated I would need physical therapy three times a week for six to eight weeks. Three weeks later I completed the entire therapy plan and was discharged with full range of motion.Did the magnets make a difference? I don’t know, but considering the severity of the fracture, I was extremely pleased with the healing.

How do i get rid of arm, chest, shoulder, and back acne QUICK?!?

Wash your face with tea tree oil soap and luke warm water. Once you are done washing your face softly pat dry. Tea tree oil soap is natural and cleans better than other soaps because it doesn't dry out your skin. If you use soap that drys out your skin your skin will produce more oil and lead to blocked pores and more acne.

Use Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 to treat your acne. Put a light coat around the infected area. It's best to wash your face and put this on just before you go to sleep. That way it gets absorbed into the skin and works better while you get your 8 hrs of sleep.

Persa-Gel 10 contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide so stay out of the sunlight when you have it on. It may cause a slight burn if you are not careful.

It should get rid of most acne within 3 days from the time you start treating it. However, that depends on how bad and what type of acne you have. Drink more fresh fruits and vegetables. Cut out as much diary as possible ( Diary is full of hormones so try and avoid it ) and leave the junk food alone.

Crack the window open in your room to allow fresh air to circulate.

The sunlight is great for acne but don't go under direct sunlight with this medicine.

Can tight neck muscles restrict the blood flow to your brain ?

I have been having a lot of muscle tightness in me neck and shoulders the past few months, i guess i have chronic stress or something of the sort. I periodically have tension headaches also. Lately though I have been experiencing small dizzy spells. When I have these spells I feel a clumsyness in my motor skills and it's very hard for me to concentrate. If I stop and take a few minutes to stretch my neck and shoulder muscles I immediately feel reflief, but it's only for a few minutes because my neck and shoulder muscles tighten again and it all starts over. I had a CT scan a couple of months ago and it was negative. My doctor has prescribed muscle relaxers, but the don't work. Is it possible that my muscles are getting so tight that it's restricting the blood flow to my brain and causing these spells? If not what can it be? If so what can i do? i exercise and stretch daily and it helps for awhile but it seems as though it's starting to get worst. My doctor is little help.Help

My body is literally BREAKING under the stress!!?

Hi.

I can understand what you're going through.
Your boyfriend has some good advice in having schedules.
It's very easy to get caught up in your emotions and feelings. You sit there trying to figure things out and 'know' there must be an easy way out. You end up not doing a lot and soon become trapped in the cycle.

If you were to get up and do something - anything - you'd probably feel better.
You recognise your life is a mess and acceptance is the first step to taking action.
I suffer from anxiety (pretty badly) and depression.
Often, I just think 'I wish I was ******* dead'.
But those thoughts aren't helpful.

The best thing you can do is take it easy.
Don't try to fix everything at once.
Make a list of 5 things that are causing the most stress for you.
Then list 5 things that make you happy.
Think of solutions for the negatives, and if you don't know any... Accept it's out of your hands. Better than wasting energy stressing out.
Fit in more positive things. Plan things that excite you and make you feel alive.

When you feel anxious, you'll naturally try to fight those feelings.
Trust me, this won't help. It'll just make you more anxious.
Instead, remind yourself to stay aware and just accept it as being there without trying to control it.
You've obviously gone through a lot and need to get some head space.

Something like Mindfulness Meditation could help you.
You don't need Vitamins for your hair.
You need to concentrate on removing the problem, without fighting for control all of the time.
Money is an issue for most people, so look for cheap/free ways to de-stress.
Have a walk. Watch a comedy. Read a fictional book. Have a warm bath with candles.

Hope this helps.

6month old german shepard limping, no injury?

The thing about large breeds like german shepherds is that you have to be very careful about the type and quantity of exercise that they get up to the age of one year, as when they are young they are quite heavy for their joints, so if they play roughly with another dog or jump more than a foot or so , they can hurt themselves. That said, he will knock himself regardless of what you do. Just keep an eye on it and use your judgement. If it goes on for more than a week, call your vert. Oh, and using a good puppy food is definitely worth it for G. shepherds.
