I Have 2 Years Of High School Left And I

Can I get my GPA up to a 4.0 with only 2 years left of high school? I have a 3.0 now.

do the math. Some high schools give extra points for advanced or AP classes. If you can’t do the math, you sure won’t be able to earn a 4.0 GPA.

I have two more years of high school left and have no idea what to do with my life. What Should I do?

Enjoy the ride.  Few (if any) know what they will do with their lives at your age.  That discovery will hopefully last you a very good portion of your life.  I recommend wandering, traveling, and learning things that truly interest you.  That may or may not include college.Careers are fine and dandy- I am the proud owner of one myself. But it is not related to what I studied or initially found of interest.  To think you won't be able to make a happy living without mapping the process at age 16 is an understandable anxiety, but that plan is by no means necessary.  There is a lot of societal pressure/expectation placed on young adults to have a plan and work hard to execute it (as if the hard work starts AFTER 12 straight years of school).  Worse yet, the plan you decide upon at your age will likely not be the one you would want in 5 years, 10 years, etc.Do what you want with some mindfulness to there future, and you will be just fine.  At your age you should only be finding your passions and discovering ways to enrich yourself and your time.  Monetizing those passions is a great endeavor for your 20's.  But for now consider anything that doesn't light your mind afire as unacceptable.  Time will pass faster and faster- everyone says it, I know, but it is more true than you can fully appreciate now.  Enjoy the time you have to truly wander in your youth.

How many years of school do you have left?

1 or 2 days

I am 17 years old and failed 2 years of high school, so I still have 2 years left to do, which means I'll finish high school at 19. How bad is that? Am I a lost cause?

The bright side is you are still in the system and willing to try. Kid, there's many people who drop out and go back 2-6 years later to get their GED. Then they start all over again by working, going to college for the first time, or raising a family between age 19-29 which is way harder. I mean even age 25-30 isn't that weird to be in college for your 4 year degree either. Some people simply don't have the funds to pay for college. Are those people who delayed it by working and saving up money any worse as humans? No. You can even read about a I think 90-something year old woman who earned her 4 year degree or high school degree because she had to drop out of middle school/high school in the 1940's? 1970's? If anyone makes fun of you and they graduated high school on time it shows a bad character. They weren't raised with respect to others. If they are late like you and feel like dragging you along and say "let's both quit" ignore him/her. Kid, in this day and age even a high school diploma means something. It's something that people need on a basic level. So many people get into debt to pay for college because so many people are going to college it's basic necessity to go to college (for the right reasons) that high school is silly not to finish. What I mean is whether high school or college there are people who take longer or shorter time to get things done. Just get it done kid. You need to find a teacher who will help you. I was not in your shoes but I had problems with Algebra. With extra tutoring help from a compassionate teacher and tutor I passed. You may not have the same resources (private tutor) but it just means yea you'll take longer. You can do it though. Google stories if you like.

How do I survive my last 2 years in high school?

High school is nothing. You've got to be more enthusiastic. When you wake up, you won't be so tired after you've showered and everything. I have that same problem. I go to bed at a little before nine and wake up at six in the morning. You're going to be tired no matter what, but not for long. Don't care about those annoying little girls and insecure little boys. If they don't care about you, you shouldn't care about them. And, apparently, you are more mature than those people. Trust me. Don't worry about high school. Because in a few years, you'll probably be rich and famous and all those people who think they're freaking Gandhi will be the ones who are on the streets, strung out on drugs, asking you for a job.
